Well. It's time. As some of you know, I asked for opinions on outfits and saber colors for me to don for 2 power runs on Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Well I'm gonna do it again. Except this time for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2. I do know I have yet to finish that one and I will. But anyways. Once again. Two power runs. One Lightside and One Darkside. Unlike the first one, I will accept any blade colors for my lightsabers for both Light and Darkside runs. And due to limited outfit selections the outfits are already decided. But as it pertains to lightsabers, here's your choices. Pick 4. 2 for the lightside run and 2 for the darkside run and if the color wills be for the right hand or left hand.

• Red
• Green
• Blue
• Purple
• Orange
• Yellow
• Black
• Silver

Yes those last two are actual blade colors in this game. Believe me I was expecting the black one as I wielded a black saber in the PS2 version of Force Unleashed but the silver one made my jaw drop. Anyways. Like I said. Pick 4. You can pick 2 of the same color if you choose. Ie. 2 reds for darkside run and 2 Silver for lightside run. And remember to pick which hand that color shall be wielded in. You have until I'm ready to do the power run which won't be for at least a week as I'll be getting my daughter tomorrow.

I want to know what those black and silver lightsabers look like. Quick, to Google!

Edit: Wait. Are you... dual-wielding? Or do you just want a heck of a lot of variety, thus we're picking 4 colors total?

Dual wielding. In force unleashed 2 you use two lightsabers. So it'd be more like yellow and purple rather than yellow or purple. Heh. Ie: Yellow in right hand is basically how I want responses.

Belated, but my suggestion is gold/yellow. In terms of alliances it's a neutral color, but stands as a true potential within star wars universe and the crystals used to amplify the sabers if I'm not mistaken. I think it's meant to represent honor, loyalty, caution and foreboding in either direction of the blade. It can represent honor or cowardice. Think carefully before striking.

Would I be correct in assuming that is your color combination selection for both runs then? And it's not belated. I just started this one so your on time. Heh.

Yah. I believe the long and short of it is:

Colors aren't entirely certain. It's somewhat old canon, somewhat fandom, somewhat interpretation of what each represented. Consulars used green when symbolizing a peaceful nature since something like 4000 BC or BBC or whatever. After that different colors became different Jedi types.

Red, for example is commonly seen as evil, and the crystal used for it is commonly harvested by the sith. Power etc. However, it's a passionate color as by typical metaphysical color scheme. Expectably, white is purity. Blue is typically unlearned, which is rightful since it's one of the most easily harvested colors. Blue tends to graduate to green, which is mastered. Yellow can be healers, orange is honor like yellow, I kinda blur the two. Purple is a midway, nothing is certain. I'm not sure what pink is. I do not want to be the Jedi with a mother effin' pink laser rod, kay thanks and bye.

A lot of it is based on what's been observed by the audience, but I'm the kind of faggot that wants to assign myself something appropriate. All I know is that the Ilum crystals only produced green and blue blades, which is the most commonly harvested, and the Sith were all leet hax--then the rest of the jedi etc leethaxed cool colors that were interpreted with other reasonings thereafter. At that point you can use general cultural color charts to determine your own personal meaning I think.

But Minerva! Only REAL Jedi wield pink lightsabers! *shot*

I was recently informed that white and pink were two of the rarest, most sought after colors in the new SWTOR MMO. It made me giggle a little.
