Dorian walks up to Ellie and stops right next to her looking down at Tyler with his dead eyes.
"It's all my fault isn't it?" Dorian asks quietly while looking down at Tyler, head tilted to the side a little bit, if Dorian want crazy before he seems about to lose his mind now.

"But I've avenged her death...and more..." Vitus says to Ellie. "Here to stay or are you gonna wander off again?" Vitus asks Dorian very sarcastically, helping Ellie with Tyler's body. Vitus inpects the wound, it becoming clear that Tyler was shot from behind. The guards were supposed to capture everyone alive, so obviously something must have happened. "Was Tyler smart and cautious?" Vitus asks, inquiring only to find out how exactly he ended up with a bullet through the forehead.
"It's not your fault." Ellie replies stiffly, shaking her head. If anything, it's my fault. "Trying to blame yourself for something that's already happened won't do any good." She looks down and watches as Vitus inspects Tyler's wound, unsure of how he had gotten shot in the first place. "He was more smart and cautious than me, that's for sure." she murmurs in reply, looking at his dead body with an emotionless stare.
"I threw a dagger into the arm of the man pointing the gun at his head." Dorian says completely void of emotion starting at Tyler's body.
"It should've been me that died." Dorian whispers under his breath almost inaudibly

Vitus sighs as he hears what happened, Dorian had accidentally gotten Tyler killed. "Oh. Should've thought it through a little more. They wanted him alive," Vitus shakes his head slowly. "Well, apparently he wasn't cautious enough. Be that a lesson to the two of you. Being cautious and smart," Vitus looks at Dorian, "Could go to quite a long way. Now, which one of you is taking first shift?" He asks while yawning, his tone no longer dark and serious.
"Bloody hell, it's like everything we talk about ends up going back to this. Can't we just forget about it and move on?" Ellie grumbles, lowering Tyler's body into the hole. "The poor guy isn't even having a peaceful funeral." She glares at them both and shakes her head, moving the rest of the dirt back into place. "And the last thing I want to hear is how I can learn a lesson from all this crap that happened." she says with a sigh, frustration mixing in with her exhaustion. She says nothing as Vitus asks the question about who would be taking the first shift, far too busy fixing Tyler's burial.
"I'll take the first shift." Dorian says eyes focused on Tyler's grave. He doesn't look away but points at Vitus.
"You and me? We'll settle up afterwards." Dorian says in a very calm voice.
"You and me? We'll settle up afterwards." Dorian says in a very calm voice.
"We got nothin to settle," Vitus says, shaking his head, "I just don't want that goddamn bullet going through my head for someone else's careless mistake," Vitus chuckles at Ellie, "You survive by learning lessons. You and him split up, right? What'd ya learn? To stick together. Surviving takes learning."
Ellie rubs her forehead with her right hand out of exhaustion. "I'm about to teach you a damn lesson right now." she mutters under her breath, before exhaling a sigh. She finishes filling up the hole and presses her lips together. "Right, whatever. While you two have some sort of badass stare down, I'll be by the river." she says, dragging her spear behind her as she makes her way to the river.
Dorian just stands at the foot of Tyler's grave and starts at the recently disturbed soil quietly contemplating how his life has drastically changed forever.
Vitus sighs and laughs at his inideal situation. "Goddamn children," he says under his breath before sitting and leaning against a tree by Tyler's grave. "Well, better hope they don't kill me in my sleep," he laughs, before holding his loaded gun in his hand and trying to get some sleep after a painfully long day.
Ellie kneels down by the edge of the riverbed, quietly taking out her stained weapons and washing them in the water. She goes through the routine of washing her face and filling her canteen with water. When she finishes, she looks behind her shoulder to see what everyone is up to. She sees Dorian staring at Tyler's grave and Vitus sleeping near his grave. All she could see is his grave. She leans back on a tree near the river and stares ahead, not able to fall asleep just yet.
Dorian eventually heads to the the river as well and dunks his head underwater and fills his canteen while his head is still submerged. He pulls his head out of the water and after a couple minutes, still looking blankly ahead
"I apologize." Dorian says to Ellie without looking at her before walking away so he can walk the perimeter of the camp his hand reading comfortably on the hilts of his swords

"Hmm..." Says Vitus, running his finger along the gun. The gun that killed Tyler Rhine...maybe it's got some good luck on it. After all, that's one less to take out. One kill closer to Jazmine. Vitus smiles as the two talk by the river, but winces as he knows he cannot kill them right away--for reasons even unknown to him.

(oh snap)
Ellie looks up to Dorian in surprise as he apologizes to her. "I apologize." she murmurs just as he leaves, briefly closing her eyes as she felt the hard bark press against the back of her head. She looks over to Vitus, and can't help but feel some suspicions rise about him. All she knew was that it would be rather hard to trust him, unlike with their previous companion. She folds her arms across her chest and wills herself to fall asleep after a few more minutes, knowing that she should get some energy for the journey to come.

Dorian walks the perimeter of the camp and seriously contemplated cutting off Vitus' head, he eventually circles back to Tyler's grave and looks between the grave to Vitus then to where Ellie is testing against the tree. Dorian doesn't feel as though he can sleep, he would take watch the whole night, partly because he can't sleep and partly because he doesn't trust Vitus anymore than he trusts the opal king.
As Vitus looks around he sees the unease about the camp, neither Ellie nor Dorian going to sleep. A lack of trust? No. I haven't screwed up...there's no way they have a clue...This is weird. Vitus shakes it off and closes his eyes again, repositioning himself on the hard ground. At least one of them is level headed. She'll be even smarter when she gets over this stupid kid's death...She may be a problem.
Ellie opens her eyes once she sees the first of dawn peak over the dark sky. She honestly didn't feel like she slept - but more of closed her eyes and waited for the right time to open her eyes. She had been in the same position for a couple hours so she stood up and stretched. Without even looking to check if the other two were awake, she washes her face in the river and prepares for another hopeful day.
Dorian had been passing statue all night, his muscles stiff, he stretches and takes a couple steps his joints popping as he does so.
"Well Ellie is awake." Dorian says before looking over at Vitus.
"Oi, spare blood, wake the hell up." Dorian says before walking around again. His eyes still cold and dead he eventually stops in front of a very large tree. He drops to his knees and looks up at the leaves.
"Another day Seluné. I'll see you soon." Dorian says

Vitus sighs at Dorian, having been awake for the past few hours. It'll be real fun to kill you, Dorian. "Good morning." Vitus says, his voice more cheery than usual. He spots Ellie washing off in the river and smiles at the thought of a quick drowning. Patience, Vitus, patience. "Who you talking to?" Vitus asks Dorian, ignoring the creative name Dorian had come up with.
