"Promising? We need to get there either before or while the village gets attacked," Tyler emphasizes, "If it's already been pillaged there's nobody to question and we're back to square one," He says, panicking about the origin of the burnt trees. Tyler decides he should should question Dorian about Seluné at a better time.
"Guys, I don't feel so good about this.." Ellie says worriedly, kicking a nearby burnt shoe. "This village probably got burned...but even if it did, we would have noticed it, right?" She sighs almost frustratingly and steps over a few tattered pieces of clothes and trees, her worry only growing as she began to smell smoke.
"If it's still burning it's either still under attack or they are very close" Dorian says thinking out loud and starts running toward where the sight and smell of smoke are coming from swords in hand.
"Goddamnit," Tyler mutters under his breath. He is not happy about the sudden transition of a nice and relaxing moment, to this moment of fear and possible despair. He quickly follows Dorians lead, sprinting as fast as he can to what he believes is the source of the smoke. "If they get away..." Tyler begins, but pushes the thought down. The won't get away. We're gonna kill the bastards that are doing this.
Ellie feels a shiver run up her spine as she steps over a headless teddy bear, its fur rough and burnt. "Take caution, we're almost there." she says in a soft whisper, resting a hand on the handle of her sword. Her heart seemed to ache as she heard a nearby scream, before it ended abruptly, like whoever was screaming had died at that moment. The burning smell increased drastically.
Dorian bursts through the tree line and sees a man impaled on a sword held by a larger man in plate armor. Dorian runs up to the man in plate armor and slashes the seams of the armor behind his knees before looking back at Tyler and Ellie and yelling "Leave this one alive" before sprinting off again and killing all soldiers he can get near before running into one wielding a poleaxe and skidding to a halt and jumping back as the poleaxe comes crashing down where Dorians head was. Dorian steps on the pole and runs along it before crossing his swords in front of him and slashing the man's neck severing his head cleanly. The head lands near Dorians feet before he kicks the head off somewhere in the distance before running into a building that a has some screams coming from it, part of the roof has caught fire.
Tyler watches as Dorian slashes the man's legs. "C'mere shithead," He says, smashing the hilt of his sword against the back of the mans head. He drags the man back and sits on top of him. "You are going to tell us everything you know. And if you don't, I'll be the one to torture you until you can't speak. Finger by finger. Tooth by tooth. Whatever I have to do," Tyler says, wearing a sick and twisted smile. The man is knocked out, but that doesn't stop Tyler from punching him repeatedly. First left, then right. Left, then right.

(OOC: YES that movie is awesome sauce! I completely understand though )
"Tyler, at least keep the damn man alive!" Ellie says sternly, lightly smacking him on the back of the head, as if she was a mother lecturing his son. Her eyes drifts over to the burning house and she sighs, before kneeling down next to the man. "He's losing a lot of blood, and you beating him to the pulp just increases the chance of him dying." she says, but she smirks at him nonetheless. "Though, I do enjoy your fire-like spirit. Very fierce." she says nonchalantly, ripping off another piece of cloth and pressing it against one of the bloodier wounds.

Dorian crashes through a window landing on the ground covered in blood, it's unclear how much of it is his. Dorian picks up his swords and walks through the village killing any remaining soldiers he can find before joining Tyler, Ellie. He pulls out a dagger and sticks the top underneath one of the unconscious man's finger nails before twisting the blade, ripping the man's fingernail off but to no avail as the man doesn't wake up. "Damnit.. " is all he says
Tyler spits in the man's face and chuckles a bit, "yeah, we can torture him later," Tyler coughs awkwardly as he gets off of the bleeding man. "This is weird, I haven't seen any dogs yet. Typically they hunt to make sure no one escapes the village...they should have come to us by now," Tyler scratches his head in confusion. "And we should check for survivors, too. Enemy or not," Tyler says, highly doubting that it took only minutes for Dorian to eliminate everyone. He gets up and, in quite a fancy way, bows to Ellie, then heads into the village, unsheathing his sword as if it is a primal instinct.
As he passes the first row of burning houses, an arrow flies by his face, one step forward and it would easily have been lodged in his head. Tyler turns to the man, offering a bow before a large menacing smile spreads across his face. "You should've hit me," Tyler says as a word of advice to his attacker. The man fires another arrow, but it is far off. After Tyler gets up close, he kicks the man square in the face. Tyler stands over him and stabs the sword deep into the man's stomach. He slowly twists the blade, causing the man to scream. "Where are the dogs?" Tyler asks.
"Go to hell," is all the man says, prompting Tyler to slit the man's throat.
"I don't have time for this bullshit," Tyler says, looking for his next target.
[OOC: Pulp Fiction is the best, though ]

Ellie seems unfazed as she witnesses the brutal killing of the man, knowing that he is better off dead. She clicks her tongue in disapproval and kicks his body to the side, rising up from her crouching position. An amused look crosses over her features as she sees Tyler bow, something rather unusual to her. She sighs as she turns toward the village, pulling out her clean sword from its sheath. Gripping the handle tightly she ran toward some of the barely burning structures, making sure to keep an eye on her fellow companions. She kicks the door open to one of the homes and hears the wail of a baby, before walking past it and searching through the whole house for some information.

Dorian runs down the roads as well looking for another "willing informant" he sees Ellie run into a house and Tyler kill an archer before he sees a young boy no older than fifteen or sixteen in the same armor as the other soldiers looking quite scared holding a sword in shaking hands "Perfect!" Dorian says with a malicious grin before quickly disarming the boy and then breaking his sword arm at the elbow and dragging him to the other man they were originally going to question. "Alright boy, you have one of three options. You answer my questions truthfully, I'll know of your lying and then you die quick and painless, you lie it'll be slow and painful. Or one of my two companions will ask the questions and... I like to vary the options a bit but the punchline is that you die, how you die is up to you." Dorian says in a tone that sends a cold shiver up the boys spine. Dorian then hog ties the boy and pulls out his water skin and takes a swig, swishing it around in his mouth before spitting it onto the ground cleaning the blood out of his mouth and waiting for Ellie and Tyler.
[OOC: am I the only one that finds it funny that no one else has attempted to join? Haha]
Tyler looks up at the sky, a grin of pure joy in his eyes. This felt good. This is how he would get over Serra's death. This is how he would heal.
Tyler continues through the village and scours for his next prey. Tyler sees a tall man wielding a sword. This looks like it could be a fair fight. Tyler smiles as he walks toward the man, however he offers no bow, no sign of respect. Taking his eyes off the man could be a fatal mistake.
"Name's Tyler," he says to the large man, who in return offers only a grunt. "Nice to meet you," Tyler laughs a little, before quickly swinging hard at the left of the man's neck. He blocks, with only a slight flick of the wrist, but gives Tyler an opportunity to attack. Tyler steps forward, punching the man directly in the gut. "Shit," Tyler scowls, as his fist clashes with solid metal. The large man laughs with a series of grunts. "I master's captain! You fresh meat!" He says, enthusiastically stomping his feet on the floor.
The captain takes his swing, however rather than using his sword, he simply punches Tyler in the jaw. Tyler falls hard onto the ground, but scurries backward, slowly getting up. This damn oaf knows how to fight. "Bye bye," The captain says.
"What?" Tyler says, noticing the captain was looking behind him. "ELL-" is all Tyler can yell, before a burnt piece of wood is smashed against his face by another man.
"Lights out, little man," they say in unison, looking at Tyler's unconscious body.

(Three's a team!)
A loud thunk was heard as Ellie slams the point of her dagger into the wooden wall, it being a few millimeters away from the man's throat she was holding up. He is thin and frail, but definitely looks like he had information. "Tell me about what happened here," she says softly, her voice laced with bitterness. "Or you'll never see the light of day." As if to prove her point, her grip tightens on his throat. The man thrashes and gasps for breath, but she keeps him locked in a tight grip with a sinister smile on her lips.
"T-The d-dogs...!" The man gasps, and she releases a bit of her grip on his throat. She tilts her head to the side, her look obviously wanting more information. Just before the man struggles to murmur out a few words, she hears a scream. Her face pales as she immediately recognized who it was and she drops the man, leaving him crumpled on the ground. She yanks out her dagger and runs out of the half-burned house, running to the site of the noise. "Tyler?!" she yells out, her weapon bared as she nervously braced herself. She looks to the burning building where she had last seen Dorian, and a sense of loneliness begins to overwhelm her. No, she can't be alone. Not now. "Dorian?!"

Dorian hears Ellie yell his name, he jumps to his feet and kicks the young boy he had captured in the head just for fun. He runs in the direction he heard Ellie yell and soon runs up to her skidding to a halt a couple get away from crashing into her serious in hand "What is it? More to kill?!" Dorian asks, excitement in his voice at the prospect of killing more of these soldiers.
Tyler is still unconscious, his his vision completely blacked out.
All of a sudden everything becomes white and Tyler sees a little girl swinging on a wooden porch swing. "S-Serra?" He asks the little girl.
"Hi Tyler!" She responds, very innocently and childlike.
"Am I..." Tyler begins his question, only to be interrupted by Serra's laughter.
"No, silly, you're not dead, not yet anyways," She says it, but her voice somehow keeps it from sounding threatening. "There's still hope for you. You can still find the man responsible. He lives far away, the man responsible, and he has a large palace in the mountains. He wants to kill people like us, people like you, Tyler. The people who will fight back, the people who won't surrender. His captains kill the innocents though, they are truly evil," The little girl suddenly becomes seemingly smarter. "That's all I can say Tyler. I hope we don't see eachother for a very long time," she says, with a half smile. "Goodbye Tyler."
And with that Tyler's vision becomes once again, masked in darkness.
