Does anyone have an explanation for why occasionally the entirety of RPR will fall completely silent? And does anyone else notice it? or is it just me?
I'm not entirely sure what you're talking about! I'm always seeing something going on around the site.
It does, however, have a huge userbase living in various parts of the world, and there's a good chance that there's a bit of lull in the activity around here because people are working, sleeping, going to school, &c. I personally never notice it when I'm online, but you might run a different schedule than I do and see it for yourself instead. *shrug!*

The site quiets down significantly during my daytime hours (11am-3pm GMT+1) and it happens that nobody posts for a few hours. However, we have a minimum of 15-20 people online on the site somewhere every hour of the day, I've noticed! They're probably roleplaying in PMs, groups or just editing profiles instead of posting publicly.
