"Are you okay there, Lad?"
"Nrrrnng..."
"Ye look yet took a beatin'.
Where was he now? Was this Oersted's world? Where he and his friends were once transported in? No, it was entirely different and seemed some what barren. There were people, though. Was this some sort of market place? The young psychic rubbed the side of his face. Wobbling a bit on his feet, Akira muttered a but. Placing his hand on the side of his cheek, he muttered softly.
Staggering a bit, Akira stumbled around a bit and nearly fell onto a basket of fruits. A few of the people around him gathered around him. Sure, he was a stranger. Sticking out like a sore thumb. The person who was speaking to him? A Kindly, yet old man walked over to the Psycho Driver and kept him supported up a bit.
"Easy there, laddy. You're in the Outworld Market place. Ya looked like you took up a beating. Took ya in. Do be careful. I wrapped up yer wounds."
Giving a light nod, Akira seemed to understand. Though. How did he get here? Or why was he summoned?
"What a strange place..." Akira said to himself.
He picked up one of the apples from the basket and took a bite from it. Rubbing his forehead where his cross shaped scar was; he felt out of place. Really out of place. Though. If anything would happen to him. He had his Psychic Powers. He had his fists as well. Maybe he could peek into the minds of the people around here? Didn't seem like it would be a bad idea.
Taking another bite of the apple, he passed by a sleeping tiger like creature. Giving a shrug, he finished his apple and tossed the core in an empty basket. At least no one should notice. Though. He wondered one thing. Why did his side hurt so bad? He was bandaged up around his torso. Maybe he could ask a few people why he is here? Or would just try to blend in? Sure, his attire made him stick out like a sore thumb.
Maybe he shouldn't worry about it or think about it too hard.

Tolora lazily opened one eye as the sound of footsteps and voices awoke her. Her ears swiveled and flicked while she decided whether or not she should get up. Of course, now she was curious to see whatwas going on so it would be a fruitless task to try and go back to sleep. She got up on her paws and stretched each leg, making her look much like a normal housecat, albeit much larger. Tolora padded her way over to the neatly folded pile of clothes and dressing screen.
After a few minutes, a girl dressed in light cotton pants and a cotton shirt walked from behind the screen that the tiger had entered. She was in the process of trying her hair up as she sat down next to the boy. "Wasn't sure you were going to make it there for a while."

|Been so busy! Sorry.
Akira rubbed the back of his head. He felt rather lost and insecure. Poking his bandages that were around his waist, he cringed from the pain. What happened to him and how did he get here? At least he was helped. Some good person aiding him was a good thing, right? Looking over at the person who helped him, the young psychic gave a rather baffled look.
"Eh? Thank.. you?" He asked. "'Guess I should be thankful. At least.. I didn't die..but.. Tell me. Where am I? What happenedto me?"

Tolora frowned as she watched him poke his bandages and then wince from the pain it caused. Didn't he know they were there for a reason? Poor guy looked pretty lost and confused. She sighed. "You were attacked. I'm not sure what it was though. They ran off when they heard me coming. I managed to stop the bleeding but your injuries needed more help than I could give so I brought you here." She pointed back into the house, where the man that Akira had woken up to was. "He knows his stuff."
"I was... attacked?" He asked.
He did ponder. By what? By who? What could've gotten a hold of him? Rubbing the side of his coat, the male reached for his long coat, only for him to feel more pain surging in his body.
"Shit.. it hurts!" He sneered. The sharp pain from his wound caused him to throw himself back down on the floor.Howoculd he be in so much pain?

Tolora shook her head. "Like I said, they ran off before I could see them, whoever or whatever they were."
Tolora frowned again. This kid just had a glutton for getting hurt didn't he? "Well duh it hurts. Even I wouldn't be healed from something like that so quickly. It takes time you know."
She sighed and stood up, going into the house to rummage around. She came back out holding a few broad silvery leaf-like herbs. "Here chew on this. It would be stronger made into a tea, but it's best you keep your ability to feel the pain."

"I guess I could be a guest n' make myself home here, right? Akira asked. He rested himself against the wall and rubbed his torso. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad. The pain, though. The insane pain. Looking up, this person seemed to hand him something. Healing Herbs?
"Eh..? Healin' herbs?" The young psychic asked. "I..."
It would be rude not to take them. They could make him feel better. Shrugging a bit, he placed one on in his mouth and chewed on it. A small, chew of course. Though, to his own surprise, his eyes widened and watered a bit.
"GAAK! Bitter!" He yelled. "YEW!" One of the leaves dropped from his mouth. He rubbed the side of his cheek. "So bitter!"

Tolora pressed her lips together in an effort not to laugh, which only caused her to snort instead. "Of course they're bitter. Most medicinal herbs are." She couldn't keep the grin off her face. "Here." She said, handing him a cup of water. "You can use this to wash the taste out after you've chewed them up a bit."
Tolora shook her head with an amused expression. "I suppose that I should introduce myself since you're no longer dying. I'm Tolora."

Taking his arm and wiping it off with one of his leather cuffs that he wore around his wrists, he reached for the cup of water. Taking a sip, he gave a rather happy smile. That bitter taste, now gone from drinking that water. The young boy with the scars set the cup down and gave a rather relaxed and happy sigh.
"Akira! Akira Tadokoro. Jus' call me Akira. Biker punk, Mech pilot at youse service!"
He gave a rather wide smile. "Youse gots a pretty nice place here. I mean.. Jus' hope I ain't intrudin' or anything."

"Hmm...Akira." Tolora tested his name out. "It's a nice name." She sat down next to him back on the wall. "Huh? Oh, no no no, this isn't my house. The old man just let's me crash here once in a while. Don't worry, he wouldn't turn out a guy as injured as you."
Tolora stared up to the ceiling thoughtfully. "Wait, did I hear you say you were a mecha pilot? What is that?"
Tolora stared up to the ceiling thoughtfully. "Wait, did I hear you say you were a mecha pilot? What is that?"
The young psychic rubbed the Cross-Shaped scar on his forehead. He gave a nervous chuckle as he had a rather sheepish smile on his face. Akira placed his hand in his lap as he was sitting with his legs crossed. How would he explain that he was a mech to her? Much less, would he say he had physic powers as well? Taking a deep breath, Akira could explain it to her. Wait, what if she thought he was bluffing to her and telling tall tales? He was in a strange world and technology such as large mechs would be mere fantasy to these folks.
"Eh... Would.. ya really like me to explain?" He asked in his tone.
"Eh... Would.. ya really like me to explain?" He asked in his tone.
Tolora raised an eyebrow and shifted a little to get more comfortable. He made it sound like it would be somewhat of a confusing or lengthy explanation. "Well sure. I wouldn't have asked what a mecha pilot was unless I wanted to know."
"Well!" Akira started to say. He tapped his fingers on the sides of his face. Getting a good idea, he relaxed himself a bit, smiling.
"Well... it's a machine. Kinda large, but helpful. I had t'use it to save my town from some unexpectin' horror."
Akira paused for a second. He did hope he wasn't boring her. That wouldn't be good. Then again, she did ask what a Mecha was. Maybe he could tell her more and how he saved Neo Kyoto?
"Say, Tolora! Youse wanna hear how I usedmy Mech t'save Neo Kyoto? How I became a.. hero somewhat?"

Tolora's eyes snapped to his. "No way, Kyoto? As in Kyoto, Japan? You're a very long way from home kid." A slow grin crept over her face. She leaned back against the wall again, keenly interested.
She still wasn't quite sure what a Mecha was though. "So you saved Neo Kyoto with a big machine named a Mecha. How?"
She still wasn't quite sure what a Mecha was though. "So you saved Neo Kyoto with a big machine named a Mecha. How?"
"Well, my Mech is named Buriki Daioh... sorry if I am confusin' yas." HE rubbed the back of his head and gave a long sigh. Was she rather confused and baffled? Well, Akira did explain it the best he could. However, Tolora did say he was far, far away. Akira shrugged it off.
"Y'know... Uh.."
He gave a nervous laugh, which was followed by his stomach giving off a growl. Feeling embarrassed, Akira placed his hand on his stomach.
"Ah... hahahaha.."
All whatwas heard was a nervous laugh from his mouth.
"Imma kinda hungry. 'Sorry 'bout that..." He said. "Gots anythin' to eat?"

Tolora looked at him when his stomach growled. Oh of course he was hungry. He hadn't eaten anything but those leaves since he had been there. She raised an eyebrow at him. "You're sorry...about being hungry and your stomach growling?"
She shook her head. "Sorry but like I said, not my house." Tolora closed her eyes and breathed in deeply. "Besides it smells like he's already making food for the two of you." The scent would be faint for a human nose.
Her own stomach growled and she smirked. "See? Happens to everyone. Nothing to be embarrassed about."

He gave a rather embarrassed nod. Maybe being sorry was kind of silly. Everyone does get hungry after a while. Placing his hands in his lap, Akira laughed softly. He could smell something wonderful being made. Wondering what it was, he perked up. HE was still sore and standing up would make him feel like he was in massive pain still.
"What's bein' made?" He asked. "Smells really good!"
