This is a werewolf role play between Samantha Black, Mathoed, MarieSapphire, Jackson Selvin, Dracon25697, Shadowknightx, Celeritate, and me. If you wish to join, please post at the designated thread. The post turn order is also determined there.

The moon hung high in the sky and the sun had set long ago in the forest, which despite the crescent moon above seemed rather well lit throughout. The smell of rotting wood and decaying leaves filled the air and the sounds of the night life would fill the ears of one particular wolf. Jackson was by no means what one would call a normal wolf, or even a normal werewolf. He was, after all, a dire wolf. A canine thought to have gone extinct long ago but that did not hold entirely true. This one remained very much alive and had survived for centuries, if not millennia, but who was counting? This particular wolf had been wandering this new territory for two things. Yes, he was here to hunt but after a life of seclusion and travel he was ready to find a place he could call home.

The wolf was large, more so than even most dire wolves were when they filled the earth. He stood just over three feet from ground to shoulder and spanned 4½ feet from nose to tail. His paws were extraordinarily large, as was his head. His coat was of medium length and shrouded in two different shades of grey, perfect for hiding in the fog or the snow.

The wolf continued his hunt when he finally picked up a scent. A moose had just been here and must have taken off north. When found, this creature would make a beautiful meal for this wolf. A few bites from his powerful jaws and large teeth would surely bring the animal to the ground where he would rip large chunks of flesh from it and swallow it whole. His teeth were not adapted for chewing but he wouldn't have it any other way. He followed the scent for just over 10 minutes when a new scent struck his nostrils. Ignoring the new smell he continued onward until the moose was in site. But just beyond his prey was something else, something just out far enough away that he could not make out the details. Was this an intruder in his new found hunting grounds? Or was this something else that may prove a better meal than this young moose?

Toru had entered the forest in his wolf form. He smelled another werewolf near by. But it's sent was not of a normal wolf. He followed the sent until he came to find a moose and a little farther away he found the wolfed was following.

Alexandra was walking around in the forest in wolf form. She enjoyed the silence surrounding her, witch also was one of the things she loved most about the forest. No one to disturb you every minut or to ask you quistions that really didn't matter. She loved the life of a lonely wolf, knowing that she didn't depend on anyone. Alexandra was a small wolf, witch matched her tiny human body, and had a pure white fur. It was very impractical, especially when she needed to hide. Other wolf would often underestimate her, because of her building, but she would most likely prove them wrong, cause she was strong. She knew just how to defend herself, and where she had her strong sides.

Slowly she started to speed up her pace when she head noises not long away. She had absolutely no interest in meeting other wolfs or worse, humans. While running though the woods, she looked around her. She knew that she was in a new territory, and it could mind as well belong to a strong pack, but she took her chances. She liked experiencing new places and woods, events there where a risk of being in danger. Honesty, she didn't really care about the consequences, just needed to try something new.

Glancing around, Mackenzie swung herself onto a tree branch. She settled down, uncertainly watching the forest ground below. She wasn't sure if she wanted to 'wolf out' tonight, and besides, she only just moved here. She hadn't noticed any other wolves in the area, so it might have been a bad idea to, as the chances of getting caught were higher. Mackenzie let out a sigh of annoyance, remembering the time she had to pack up the same day she'd arrived at her new house. A toddler saw her shift, and told his mother. It reached the ears of the authorities, and they went to the forest with their rifles, full of killing intent.

Mackenzie grumbled as she dropped to the grass, brushing her pants off. She tugged at her sweater as she wandered around the forest, looking for any signs and smells of recent wolves. An odd scent reached her nose, and she sneezed, the small noise echoing around the trees. Wolfsbane had been planted somewhere near, and that caught her attention. She shivered, the cold seeping into her bones and trudged aimlessly some more, looking for the pesky plant.

Serena has lived in this forest for many years, she knew every ground and every animal who called this place home. She was also very shy for a wolf, it took her some time to open to anybody and even with that she could not open too much.

She was already in wolf form as she started her usual walk. Something she did to past time, she was in no pack as she choose not to be in one. She did not mind being alone with her own thoughts. She stops when she smells a new scent, someone new was here...actually more than one. She takes a few steps back, new wolfs? Usually she would just let them be but she wanted to see what they look like and if they had a pack of there own.

She begins to run threw the forest trying to pick up the scent again, she was getting close as she slows down and sniffs the forest floor once more.
