Duuk was unlike any other in the class, a year ago their was a ranger guild who came across a small bunker in the valley of a local mountain that touch the distant sky, inside this bunker was Duuk and his older sister. His brother in law had died a few months before, killed by genderless giants known as titans, but when the Rangers came across the bunker Duuk's sister Henrietta was more then willing to venture back to the safe walls of Tower Guard. Tower Guard was made up of three giant walls, three inner cities that represented each one of the group that their circle held inside, and one capital castle smack dab in the middle. The three groups were the Croppers represented by the Wheat Flag, the Smiths represented by the hammer flag, and the Breeder represented by the Bull Head Flag. Each one of the inner cities economies thrived off the work of the outer wall groups.
Duuk and his sister were allowed into the city as long as they each found work to contribute to the walls, Hen went to work on a small farm in the Crop District, as for Duuk he went into the army to fight the Titans out in the world, he'd prefer the job or a Ranger more then an Wall Watcher or an Officer of the inner cities. But as he graduated from the academy as a ranger he kind of regretted not becoming an officer or watcher. 'Welcome to the Ranger's Guild, we hunt titans in the surrounding tree lining areas and stone valleys.'
Duuk nodded, in the morning him and the other fourteen rangers would be going on their first mission, "Yes Sir!" He responded rather natively, "While the others feared the outside world, that was where he lived almost all his life, so he was ready for what lay beyond the walls. Couldn't be any worse then it was a year ago, right?

There are 3 types of rangers; Archers, Pyromen and Legionary Knights.
Archers, They use metal bolts and a Griffin bow far superior to the average wooden bow. A Griffin bow has a fine string that can withhold many things. When drawn the bow will hold steady allowing the user to aim efficiently.
The Pyromen, Smiths with battle training that use pressure powered weapons or flame throwers. Pyromen are only allowed to carry 1 of the two. The pressure powered weapons would either be heated spike launchers or heated jet hammers. The heated spike launchers required 2 Pyromen since the launchers are carried in 2 separate parts. Once assembled in the battlefield, each Pyroman can carry 2 metal spikes reaching the maximum carrying weight for a Pyromen without being too much to look after. Pyromen are very important when a battle needs to be turned to the favorable side. Each Pyroman carries a jet hammer, There are two more types of jet hammers, for spike Pyromen, there's the mobile hammer. The mobile hammer is very light and does just below average desired damage to a titan. Then there are the other type of Pyromen, the Rhinos. Rhinos carry large jet hammers that are twice the length of a normal jet hammer and also, twice the size. These jet hammers require manual build up of pressure that is saved in the hammer and slowly released when used in battle. All of the pressure powered weapons increase the speed of which the weapon is swung or launched.
The last class is the Legionary Knight. Armed with a jet lancer or multiple swords the Legionary Knight risks his/her life at all costs to protect the ever valuable Pyromen and Archers.
Soldiers are given 3 purple injectors all consisting of STEM. 3 is the maximum a soldier can inject, anymore than 3 can cause overdose and seizures. STEM increases the strength, reaction time and pain threshold of a soldier for an hour, after that the soldier will feel slight nausea and fatigue. For Archers, Pyromen and jet lancer wielding Legionary Knights, STEM makes it easier for them to use their weapons. Archers need STEM to increase their reaction time allowing them to keep distance and hold their bows steadily. Pyromen and Leagionary Knights use STEM for all the benefits allowing them to wield or assemble their weapons.
"Oh shit, crap, balls, I'm friggin late!" Slade stumbles through the streets of the market place in the inner city, he'd graduated as a Legionary Knight. Today is supposed to be his very first time outside of the city walls and he's late. "Oh man, They're gunna flip!" he said to himself pushing through crowds in the streets. He'd knocked a little girls ball from her hands by mistake "Sorry!" was all he could say before running off again, her cry distancing from him each yard he cleared.
Arriving at the academy where he was to be assigned his new squad, he slipped on his jacket and walked into the Assembly hall with beads of sweat running from his forehead "oh man..." he mumbled as he caught everyone's attention, looking back at them with a nervous look. Some giggled, some scoffed and some just stared blankly. He fake coughed and shuffled in his jacket before breaking his gaze and joining the back of the Assembly hall. In the hall, where Dukonuu was getting allocated his squad Slade stood idly at the back
"Master West, late as always. Please come to the front and make it quick, i don't want to become a fossil before then" An old man that was in charge of allocating each graduate to his squad called for him, his tone suggested obvious annoyance. Slade didn't need telling twice, he quickly made his way up to the front, standing besides Dukonuu "You're with Pheonix squad, the same as Master Dukonuu"

There were only four people per squad and three squads in all, Eagle Squad, Phoenix Squad, and Falcon Squad, the falcon squad was mostly scouts, archers with one lancer, then eagle and Phoenix squads stayed back a bit. The Eagle Sqaud had the Guild commander and was made of mostly lancers and one archer. And the Phoenix squad was composed of only Pyromen, they stayed back a bit and only entered the battle if it wasn't going well, their main goals were to keep an eye on the rear of the fight so no one got flanked and to provid real power if casualties reached beyond two or three.
'There are scouts reporting about some Rogues camping in the north west so we are going to avoid that direction at all costs...' With the commander the Rangers guild was composed of thirteen Rangers, four Eagles, four Falcons, four Phoenixes, and the Ranger Commander who stayed with the eagle's. "Why are the Rogues so close to Tower Guard?" Rogues were rangers and rebels who didn't like the way Tower Guard was run, the left by choice and the group moved from place to place killing Titans also but also attacking Rangers that got too close. Duuk had met a Rogue group before him and his sister came to the Tower Guard, they seemed like decent folk but their hatred for the Tower Guard was overwhelmingly strong. Sometimes they staged traps for the Rangers and killed more swiftly then the Titans. Since they left so early their were only one class of Rogue, the original dual detachable blades. They wanted to Recruit Duuk and his brother in law originally but they both turned the Rogues down. That being said, Dukonuu always assumed his father who he never met, had been a Rogue of some sort.
As the The Rangers rode out of the gate crowds cheered, 'they all know we're riding to our deaths,' one of the Falcon Squad men said. Duuk looked down at his heat hammer, a button on the hammer heated up to a hundred degrees Celsius and when it made contact with the back of a Titans next one swing could cause the creatures skin on the back of their necks to explode! "Beyond the wall is where I was before, if I die out there it is what it is..."

"i'd rather return in one piece, Me and johnny over here" Slade spoke to Dukonuu, he motioned his head towards a guy riding besides Doku "We made a bet, He'd shave his head and dress up as a monk to my funeral if i die and he survives, if he dies and i survive, I have to bury him besides an old oak tree outside the walls on the north side" he chuckled, speaking about death so lightly.
"I'm coming back alive" johnny replied to Slade, flipping him the bird with a cheeky smile on his face.
"Oh good, me too" Slade punched his arm softly. He turned his attention to Doku "So, Dukonuu right? erh, it's a lil long, mind if i call you Duke?"

"You two hold the cannon right?" Duuk asked as the outer wall opened, he along with the rest of the group began to move faster in pace, two horses pulled each carriage, three carriages to hold each squad, and an additional horse for the Guild Commander! The gates behind them closed as two of the Falcon Squad scouts dashed forward taking out the two titans nearest to the carriages both hit their marks and landed safely preparing for any Titans to advance on the group. The rest began to run at them but not as fast as the horses, so the scouts re boarded their carriage and the race to the forest continued.
"actually, I'm a Legionary Knight. Sir Woodstrong told me and Johnny to personally cover your group if things turned sour, Johnny's a lancer and I'm a swordsman but my sword is different, that's why I kinda fall in a similar category as you guys. Made my sword myself, I call her Poison, the Rose's Thorn. Along the blade there's a poison coating made using a secret chemical compound" he stuck his thumb over his shoulder pointing at the hilt of his sword. The hilt looked like an old fashion motorbike accelerator "When I rev her she gets all excited and hot, kinda like your hammer, at the back of the sword there are three small exhausts that release the built up pressure and flame up each time i rev" he took his sword from it's sheath and demonstrated, revving the sword with a few twists of his wrist, the blade began to glow red. The sword actually sounded like a motorbike being revved. Flames licking at the exhaust pipes with each rev.
He pressed the break on the sword which released all the pressure then placed the sword in it's sheath "but Dylan and Roy are carrying the cannons"
He rode with the rest, on guard for any problems that may arise.

With only four people in their squad Duuk wondered why the Guild commander had a Pyro weapon but that was what it was. "What guild are you in?" Duuk asked to Johnny. But by now the carriages were approaching the east woods, a Titan had been hiding beyond the woods and surprised the Eagle Carriage stomping on the horses flipping the Rangers out of their vehicle!
(How many survived?)
(How many survived?)
rolled 1d4 and got 2
"I told you already man, He's a Lancer, Legionary Knight. You don't lis-" Slade ended his sentence when the sound of crashing wood reached his ears "Pheonix Squad, 2-4 position!" their leader called out formation and Phoenix squad did as instructed. 4 got in a square around the titan and 2 ran to save the survivors of Eagle squad
"Sir, Eagle squad is almost all wiped out, these 2 are badly injured" one of the survivors seamed to be internally bleeding, his arm bent backwards and missing a leg, the other had a few cuts and bruises.
"Attack!"

Being only four people in the eagle Squad two of the Falcon Sqaud were joining to help. Duuk dashed with his steam pulse to grab one of the fallen Eagle Rangers and one of the falcon Rangers grabbed the other. Meanwhile while the three puris got in position the Falcon up top acted as a distraction so the Phoenix's could ready the cannon. Aiming it the fired blowing the Titans head clean off neck and all. Only eleven Rangers were left so far, remounting the wagons they continued though the forest.
(Hey.... Psst... Can I join?)
{{Then that would make it your turn xD))
