Don't just sign an internet petition. Find out who your representative is and contact him/her. That goes for everyone as this one applies not just to the US.
acta is 2008 old hat and nor as dangerous as sopa/pipa. Clouded w a lot of public misinformation.
acta, trade agreement, meaning theyll try to stop a problem by suggestion. Sopa/pipa are laws.
They hid early discussion but it kept leaking and they revised dangerous vagueries. Sry for multipost, mobile equal small typespace.
sopa and pipa considered its easy to get alarmed but acta far predates them and has had most problems cut by past protest. Sopapipa protesters recently found it and tripped, s'all.
acta's final format is a lot cleaner written and less abusable than what was originally leaked and circulating.
