Way back in high school, my best friend and I would tell each other random stories all the time. But since we're already in college and not going to the same school anymore, I have no one to share my stories to. Happy stories. Scary stories. Or even sad stories. It's pretty dull without her around. She and I were like sisters. Even though others thought that we were weirdos, we didn't care. We had each other and we enjoyed each other's company. I miss her so much and I wish to tell her more stories, but I can't...so I want to post a story here in RPR, even if there won't be anyone that might read it or like it either. And I'm not also sure if it should be here in Smalltalk or in the Art and Creativity Forums, but anyway...here it is...
A short story about the words 'I Love You'
In a small town, there was this girl...
She had a boyfriend, but he never told her...'I love you.'
This upsets her a lot...
But one thing about this boyfriend of hers was that every end of the day...he would give her a doll.
The girl's room is filled with dolls, but none of them mattered to her because all she wanted was to hear him say...'I love you.'
Then...on one dim Tuesday...as the girl watched her boyfriend from her bedroom window...
She noticed something...
He was with another girl...
He was smiling at her...holding her shoulder...
And this broke her heart...
After that...when her boyfriend said goodbye to the other girl and reached his girlfriend's doorstep to give her another doll...
The girl opened the door and said, "What?" with a somewhat angry tone...
The boyfriend smiled at her, saying hello, then handed her the doll...
But when she had it in her hand, she shouted at him angrily and threw it away...until it landed in the middle of the street...
The boyfriend was shocked...then he ran get the doll...
However...on his way back...he...
BEEP! BEEP!
Blood splattered on the floor...as the boy was hit by a fast-moving car...
This made the girl gasp in shock...and in sadness...because she knew...that it was all her fault...
Days after her boyfriend's burial, the girl was still upset...
She lost the one she loved so dear...because of what she did...
Then as she laid upon her bed to sulk in her tears...
She accidentally sat on one of her dolls that unexpectedly said...
"I LOVE YOU"
"I love you. I love you." She pressed the doll again and again...until she got all of her dolls her boyfriend gave her and pressed them...
She pressed each...one by one...and each of them said...
"I LOVE YOU"
Her eyes began to water as she listened to each doll...but as she reached the last...the one stained with her boyfriend's blood...she cried more desperately as she heard a recording of her boyfriend's voice...
"Hey, hun... Guess what? ...Happy anniversary! Mwah mwah mwah! You are my sunshine... You are my angel... And I would never ever let you go... Meeting you on that lucky June 20, 2012 was the best day of my life... And hun? I hope that you love the dolls I gave you...'cause they show how much you mean to me...and how much I can't last a day without telling you...
...I LOVE YOU."
