Monday was the day of death, Tuesday had brought a bit of confusion, but so far Dukonuu had won two fights, "only three wins left to go," he said as the sun rose on Wednesday morning. After all the confusion with the collar breaking off the day before and a slave almost escaping the Slave Masters decided it would be best to post pone anymore fighting until each collar was checked. But now as the sun rose on Wednesday morning Dukonuu knew that it would be a bloodier day then those days before. He wondered if he really did kill the sword swingers son with his spear throw the day before. The guards and Slavers had counted it as a win but as far as whether the kid lived or died Duuk hadn't the slightest. "He only coulda been a year or two older then me... I'm sorry I killed your son Sword Swinger, I just wanted to prove to you that I was strong."

He awoke in a cage with his chest heavily bandaged and growled a bit before slamming his fist into the cage bar.
"I hate near death experiences. They get annoying."
He then chuckled to himself.
"Its ok...new day. Lets try this again...without a spear missing your heart by mere cenimeters." he muttered to himself.

Athens has traveled a long way, he had been alive for a few thousand years but this, this was new. Stealing food from a vendor at the Festavil for some starving children had placed him here. He took nothing from the weapon rack and got into a ready stance, being more of a combat fighter was his style. "Blessings of the Dragon, please give me a steady fist." He was a fire monk, and he was ready to win his freedom.
Dukonuu got shoved into the pits once more and noticed how odd it was that his new opponent hand no weapon. Taking his two spears same as always he got his running start, "three wins left to... GO" throwing his first spear the sandy winds guided his feet as he followed it close behind, sprinting forward at his new opponent as his spear flew straight for the man.

Athens didn't expect the spear to fly so true! As it stabbed straight through his stomach Athens dropped to his knees. "I can't... Not yet." But as Athens pulled the Spear out of him the world around him turned black. Dropping the spear to the dirt Athens was knocked out and the Guards carried him away, back to his cell.
He watched as the monk got dragged away before guards yanked him out of his cage and guided him towards the arena. He looked at the kid across the way and smirked a bit.
"Did ya think i was dead? Not quite."
As he spoke lightning began to course around the outside of his body as he suddenly dashed at the kid with blinding speed.
"Now i'll show you what i got!"
He then leapt into the air and aimed a full force kick to the side of the kids head.

This hadn't been the next scheduled fight but Duuk had to get ready for it. Being flung backwards with great force he slid across the sand before digging his spear in the ground to help himself stop. The spear snapped but luckily he was right next to the bloody one that Athens had pulled out of himself! "I thought you were dead..." Looking up at the Slavers they seemed to be amused and the war gong sounded, taking the spear he chucked it forward. "Same fate as yesterday for you!"

He once again quickly dashed at his oppoenent and side stepped the spear as it whizzed past him. He however didn't dodge it fully as it sliced its way down his side drawing blood that was red with a bluish tint. Ignoring the pain, he allowed his thirst for vengenece to drive him as he came sliding to a halt just in front of Duko and aimed a full force punch to his face.
rolled 1d20 and got a natural 19. After the modifier of +1, got 20
A thousand sand hourglasses could have predicted this fate but for now he was no more, his face imploded at the lightning boys touch and wet sand covered the boys hand. Dukonuu's body turn to sand, before crumpling and falling apart, was he dead? Yes... yes he was dead.
He snorted a bit as his opponent fell to dust and threw his head back in a violent roar to the sound of cheers of the crowd. He then started bouncing on his toes as lightning continued crackling around him. He then looked towards the entry awaiting his next opponent.

Setiha was saddened that the kid he faced had died. But he was also surprised that he turned into sad like he was nothing more then a sand spirit. But Setiha did not have long to be sad because the guards opened his cage and told him he was next. Setiha still hurt and he was still weakened due to his last fight but he was feeling a lot better then he was and he hoped the gods would see him through this fight. If he some how survived he would want revenge against the king who had got him stuck here in the first place.
Setiha walked over to the weapons rack and found his staff and walked over to the arena to face the man who seemed to enjoy the fighting. He had some sort of magic it seemed due to the lighting that crackled around him and Setiha took note to be careful of that. But how would he attack someone who had magic on his side? Setiha was not given much time to think about this as the battle had now been signaled to start. Setiha decided to wait for the man to make the first strike because Setiha did not want to reopen his wounds by running around too much.
He snorted once more as the gong sounded. He eyed his opponent for a moment then frowned.
"You are not the one i seek...but i shall tear through you as well!"
As blood continued flowing from his wound he grunted a bit before kicking off again and dashing at this new opponent and aiming a quick fire spin kick to the new arrivals side.

Setiha stood his ground and watched the deranged man as charged forward and attempted to do some kind of fancy kid to his side. He simply moved and guarded with his staff and the mans kick was blocked by his strong staff. The man was now caught off guard and Setiha took this advantage and swung his staff around hitting the man and hopefully sending him to the ground and wounded.

He fell to the ground from the impact of the staff and quickly rolled backwards and back up to his vertical base. He grunted once more before doing another spin kick though clearly out of range. Something was clearly up though as when he executed the kick sand blew ahead of it indicating a highly compressed stream of air heading towards his opponent with extreme force.

Setiha watched as the man fell to the ground however the man who looked like a monk recovered from the fall fast and kicked the air around him. Setiha's eyes widened in surprise and she felt a force and saw the sand in his direction. Was the force of his kick so strong it could hit him? Setiha dodged just in case as he did not want to take any chances and boy was he glad that he dodge because that could have hurt him and reopened his wounds.
Setiha then quickly dash ignoring his pain from his pervious wounds of the other battles and thrusted his staff upwards to try to hit the mans chest as hard as he could. He was not holding back as he did the fought before which had almost costed him his life.

He grunted as the staff impacted his chest and growled a bit. He drew back a hand and prepared to launch another punch but was cut short as he realized his breath was drawn short and he slowly dropped to his knees. After a moment his vision blacked out as he fell face first into the sand. The guards then came and dragged him back to his cage.
Damon watched as the kid passed out from the blow, and was dragged to a cage close to his. As soon as the guards locked his cell, they removed Damon from his own, and threw him to the arena. He adjusted his improvised sling for his arm, which he had to rebreak and set himself, and went to the weapons rack to take one of the serrated blades. He'd try to his best for a win, but he wasn't optimistic. He didn't think the holy man would try to kill him, so at least the odds of death were slim.
Out from the cages came a being that stood at a shocking 6'6, his body was muscular and it was obvious that he had been one of militaristic rank by his stance. Pulling his sword from the sheathe that was latched around his chest and laid against his back, he took the large bastard sword and lunged at Seitha, aiming in a downward diagonal slash as to possible hit something. As it was obvious that this being was a decent fighter, already going through several men in the arena.
(OCC: So there are 2 people fighting me? Also the last person to post did not do a dice roll...)
Just as quickly as the guards had thrown him in, they were retrieving Damon and removing him from the arena. He was puzzled about this, but decided against questioning it. They locked him back in his cage, and left him alone to watch the fight.
