Storm rested a calm hand on Ziro's shoulder and the beeping stopped, "It is a code language I made up, a combination between moris, binary, and brail. The beeps are all different tones, and lengths meaning different letters and words. It is incase of star pirates capture our ship, I need to keep the D.M.C. safe at all times." He looked at the girl and hadn't really gotten to much info about her, "and you, tell me your story... Start with your name."
Monkey considered that a moment and decided it was a pretty good idea. She'd not known that space pirates were a thing, but it made a certain amount of sence that they would be, especially to ships carrying such important and illegal materials on board.
He was asking about her, and if there was one thing Monkey liked to do, it was talk. She happily, and quickly replied. "Not much to tell. My name is Monkey, I was raised in a Church run group home back on Cryoganal. They turned me out a few months ago 'cuz I'm self sufficient they say. " She liked their version of the truth better, but the actual reason had likely been more to do with her oddities and them not wanting to put up with her any longer then they had to.

Storm didn't really believe the girl about any of the info but pretended not to show his disbelief, "your name is Monkey?" He looked at the girl, "how odd." A few beeps told Storm that they were going to be at Ochak in a matter of three days, maybe less. "Listen I'm going to take a nap before we get there, I recommend you do the same."
Whether he believed it or not, she believed her words to be the truth. Certainly, she'd probably had another nae at some point, or instance, she didn't expect her parents, whomever they were had intended her to be named after a rambunctious earth animal, but it was what they'd called her at the Church Home she'd grown up in. It was the only name she knew, and it was what was listed on the Citizenship certificate she'd been given upon leaving the home. He called it odd, and she just sort of shrugged awkwardly in response as she shuffled from foot to foot, she supposed it was odd, she was used to hearing it.
He was suggesting a nap, and Monkey, who rarely slept due to a dangerous access of energy figured she would have to find a way to occupy herself quietly. "Oh, um... where do I sleep?" She asked curiously, wondering if there were bunks on board or something.

Storm pointed to the room across from his, "that'll do for now, don't mind Blake's stuff, he won't be needing it."
Monkey looked towards where he pointed, and then nodded, heading in that direction and letting herself into the space that had used to belong to his partner, so she could at least work off her energy in privacy so as to not interrupt his napping.
