"I believe so." Xiara replied to the old man. "But it seems that the ruin it is supposedly housed inside prevents anything dangerous... or perhaps evil from getting out." Xiara began to think that maybe it was a good idea to just leave and let the medallion stay in it's rightful tomb, but he could not return to the Kaeshr with nothing.
"So, you gonna just leave it where it's at then?"Owen asked.
"To be completely honest, I would prefer to just leave it here and forget about it. But I cannot return to my residence, leaving here something what my lord regards as being so important and potentially harmful." Xiara confessed. "The bad leader is incredibly paranoid. He must believe that something malevolent is looking for the medallion as well, but who else would know about some prehistoric trinklet?"
"Well, I can't think of anyone who might know about it. Do you have any enemies that might know about... wait...."Owen said. "A few months back Reina arrived on the planet. My wife and I have no clue why she was dropped onto this planet, and she doesn't seem to know either. I know she was created by the Gritarians, a species of geneticists that used to conserve animals. Sometime ago they decided to drop their peaceful conservationist attitude and became a military run race. Maybe they know about the medallion and dropped Reina here to find it, but she forgot about her mission somewhere between reentry and hitting the ground in her stasis pod."Owen said, scratching his chin.
Xiara's attitude became determined. Where these aliens the 'wrong hands' the Kaeshr referred to? Or would the intrigue and tension of far too curious beings stir sleeping giants? Xiara did not know, but they had to foiled regardless. "We must waste no time then. If they know about the artefact, they will no doubt come looking for it, seeing as though your abrasive friend has forgotten it's task... Or perhaps just a puppet in preparation for the true search?!" Xiara did not know which answer was true, but he did not care. Both of them had shown that finding the medallion, and 'destroying' it (As Xiara had said) was far more urgent than Xiara could have dreaded.
Owen opened his mouth about to say something, but the sound of various patrons screaming and running interrupted him. At the other side of the room was what appeared to be Reina in her Dilophosaurus form. She let out a loud wail and charged towards Owen and Xiaea.
Xiara did not have the time to draw his weapon, and instead found himself protruding his arms as far as they could instinctively. The sharp digits of his gauntlets served as the only defence he had at this second; frozen in place from the sudden shock, he was unable to jump out of the way.
Owen managed to get out of the way before hte Dilophosaurs, pounced on Xiara, trying to grab ahold of his head in her jaws, with some kind of goo dripping from her mouth. "REINA! GET OFF OF HIM THIS INSTANT!"Owen demanded, grabbing onto the Dilophosaurus's tail and tugging on it. The tail slammed into Owen sending him flying back several feet. The Dilophosaurus got off of Xiara, turning her attention to Owen. She hissed about to launch a glob of the goo at Owen.
Xiara fell to the ground with a large thud from his armour, almost losing consciousness. Were it not for the terrible fight taking place before, he would have probably drifted off into sleep. But adrenaline got the better of Xiara; having no concern of potentially dangerous saliva dripped on his helmet, Xiara drew his alien blade. While he did not expect an encounter like this, the paranoid retainer almost always kept a weapon with him just in case.
Holding little regard for the raptor-like beast, he now saw it as a creature that had gone completely out of control. Now in the belief that this creature's life brought more death. Xiara barked the name of the beast, ready to take it on.

The Dilophosaurus didn't respond. The Dilophosaurus was about to launch its spit, before a glob of green sickly slime hit it on the side. The Dilophosaurus wailed in agony as the flesh on its side slowly began to melt away exposing bone and muscle. After a few moments the slime lost its properties and the Dilophosaurus's flesh stopped melting away.
At the other end of the room was another Dilophosaurus. Judging by the scars on its hide, this one was Reina. Reina roared, before charging at the Dilophosaurus. Due to her much more extensive hybridization, she was larger than the other Dilophosaurus. She slammed into it, sending the dinosaur sprawling across the floor.

(Very sorry about this late reply.)
Still with his luminescent blade held tight, Xiara held the sabre's hilt by his chest and lunged at the now weakened raptor. The sabre made a strange screech as it was swung through the air.

Xiara's blade hit the Dilophosaurus, with the dinosaur letting out a loud yelp as he blade sliced through its hide. The Dilophosaurus got back to its feet, only for Reina to tackle it back to the ground with her jaws locked around its throat.
Oop: It's cool man

With the enemy Dilophosaurus now dealt with, Xiara began to shake his head rather violently, causing tiny splotches of goo to splatter around the room. Sure it was a slight messy, but at least he would no longer have to worry about his helmet potentially melting off. Gathering himself once more, the retainer sheathed his sabre and peaked slyly by the door. It was quiet. Too quiet in fact. This probably wasn't just some wild attack, and the retainer had gathered that there were probably more on the lookout.
Xiara spoke with a serious tone, though his voice was clearly laced with worry. "This little attack was far too coincidental for my liking, and I think that we have been followed here. We haven't found the medallion yet, and it's clear to me that it's not here; we have to leave before we are caught again." He quickly observed a large window within the religious room, wondering if escaping through it would be the best possible exit at this moment.

Reina got off the Dilophosaurus, letting out a hiss at its corpse, before returning to her original form, and running over to Owen and helping him up. "Owen, A-are you okay?"Reina asked worriedly.
'I don't think we have the time to be worrying about injuries' Xiara had thought as he placed his hands around the window's safety bannister. He loomed his head over the large window. In all honesty getting down from here wasn't too hard for the Retainer, and he didn't worry for the Dilophosaurus' ability either. It was the old man Xiara was worried for. His age and potential injury made him a liability, Xiara could not simply just leave him here however, slowly turning his head back to the duo.
He cupped his fingers by his upper waist as he walked back towards them both, "How are you holding up?" Xiara anxiously asked Owen.

With Reina's help, Owen got back to his feet. "I'll be fine, thank you for asking."Owen chuckled. "We gotta get you to a hospital, come on!"Reina said, nearly throwing Owen over her shoulder and heading for the exit.
The Retainer's eyes widened under his helmet, and he almost made mincemeat of his own lips as he bit onto them. He was shocked by Reina's impetuous nature. Leaving by the normal exit would surely be foolish, they'd all end up being caught by whatever organization pursuing them. Nevertheless, Xiara followed on, seeing little need to cause a pointless disagreement, and halt the escape for the three of them.
Reina got outside. There was a crowd of people outside the museum, with local authorities only just arriving. Reina shoved through the crowd, getting to their Buggy. She placed Owen in the back and climbed into the driver's seat, turning the buggy on.
Xiara climbed into the empty seat of the buggy, whilst scoping the crowd outside of the museum. He wondered to himself who they were, and if they had something to do with that attack involving the other Dilophosaurus. The truth seemed so clear and yet so shrouded, and he could not wait to get away from this place.
Oop: The crowd outside the museum was supposed to be the people from the museum that bailed when a Dinosaur suddenly appeared.
Reina took off, heading down the road. "O-Okay... Th-The Hospital's down the road on the..... right?"Reina rambled to herself in a worried tone. "It's on the left Reina."Owen corrected, trying to adjust himself to be more comfortable. Soon, the Town's hospital came into view. It was a fairly large, white and red metal building, clearly made of the same materials as a space ship. Reina pulled into the parking lot, stopping out in the front of the hospital. "Watch Owen!"Reina ordered, hopping out of the buggy and going into the hospital.
