Mmm.' He awaking out of his bed at around early dawn to open his Inn early don't blame him it was good for business since the trading in the small town was booming with the opening of the new bridge and himself as the "Mayor.' of this city not the legal mayor of course but the townspeople looked up to him to do his powers and abilities to protect them from forest creatures.
"Another beer!" John smashed his cup on the table "Coming right up sir." The man nodded his head and went to fill his drink. "Hmm." He got up out of his bed and walk up to his clothes "Shiny as new." He laughed putting on his outfit he'd then yawn before exiting his room "Aegarion!" John shouted "John calm your voice." Aegarion ordered for a cup of wine also and sat at the table with John "..." John a tall man who had long hair along with a trimmed long beard.
John was one of his closet friends. "Sir." A servant handed Aegarion a scroll "What is it?" His head turned towards the servant "I don't the raven carrying it said it's for your eyes only." Aegarion opened the scroll and read it "His Grace the King has sent a ravens out to a select few nobles after a bit of "searching." I must say anyways his majesty requests for these select few to go to the castle and bow before his majesty and accept my quest." signed John Thomaswealth, Adviser to the Crown. "Well." He sighed and stood up "I'll have one last drink before I leave." He raised his cup high and cheered "Loyal to the crown." He drunk the wine and slammed the cup down.
(If you want to join read this.
1. If you want to join right away tis its sugguested you be an Elf or Human along with a Dwarf. The reason its like this is because those are the known races and it'd be strange to see a Dragonborn just appear out of nowhere and join.
2. You must make a prologue it doesn't matter how long it is. As long as its about how did you get sent a letter and which city or group you were apart of before the King sent you a message.
3. This is a Medieval based "Roleplaying Game." and by roleplaying I mean you must stick your character and who is he if you're a lawful character you must be what your character is if you're lawful evil you have others do your deeds or lawful good you must do your best to uphold the law and honour no matter what.
4. Stick to your classes please. This doesn't matter but if you're a Wizard with a sword please don't do it stick to your class. If you're a Ranger you can't just charge on the front line stay back and support your team in battle.
5.Combat and other things are dice based for example, in combat you must roll the dice to see what attack you've got for "I got twenty so its major damage.' or if you're a thief lockpicking a place "I rolled 1 which means I've failed to pick the lock and made a loud noise alerting the guards."
6. Be the person you are this rule means pretty much just think in your roleplaying self before you do anything silly like "I should wait until I'm fully healed before clearing out this cave." like that do that it'd make everyones life easier also
This may seem a bit strict but trust me its not all I need is a dice roll in combat and that's how about it the rest is up to you.

Who knew a simple letter could change anything? All that he was doing that day was helping clean the local jailhouse. Er, he was going to. "Hm...? A letter...?" He opened said letter, seeing the request. "..." He dropped it, leaving the town of Yggdrasil to go find the location.
The knight-errant was just leaving a town which he had already forgotten the name to. After dealing with a nasty troll problem he set back out on his journey. The knight was halfway on the road side when a messenger came forth and stopped at his feet "Fair knight, for you. " Genhai looked perplexed for a moment before taking the letter. He opened it up and his face contorted. What could the king of this area want with so much aid? Alas it was his duty as a knight-errant to serve the people and their leadership. The scarred man rolled up the letter "Thank you, for your trouble" He'd pay the messenger before heading down the road. He wondered who all would seek to assist in this endeavor.
"Well, see you lads." He nodded his head before getting on his horse galloping off to the castle, arriving in the city of Highpoint the largest city in the realm it was the capital and cultural home to the realm hosting some of the best known poets and Bards the city buzzing with people as kids played around ships was coming in and out of the largest city merchants selling goods in every corner along with guards patrolling the streets of the city. The palace sat on a hill along with a waterfall
flowing into it as he headed towards it on the way looking at the lower parts and seeing how educated and wealthy the city was at the town keep stood a large statue of the Queen Mother stood large. The Queen Mother was one of the nations great rulers under her rule she was known as the "Good." due her outlawing slavery making Elves equal with Humans.
Yet the most famous thing she did was open the college of Highhold which is seen as one of the oldest, despite it was almost 20 years ago it opened the way for more towns to start building. I met the Queen during a state visit to the Northern Sea Empire, where she toured the Arch-College of Mages where I got to meet her a kind lady who looked almost ninety years old I still wonder what she'd look like in her youth.

Genhai arrived sometime later. In the time that passed between his arrival in Highpoint and receiving the message he had secured a horse. Genhai found a stable and paid for the horse to be cared for. He might still need it yet. Taking the letter he had received he headed for the castle. Taking in the sights and standing a moment in awe of the Queen Mother statue. He paid honor to her memory before continuing onwards. The king needed his aid and therefore there was no time for sight seeing. As much as he'd have liked to.
He then headed off to the keep where they were welcome "Open the gates." The guards shouted as he rode inside the castle and put his horse in the stables and getting properly dressed for the king as he entered the throne room taking a deep breath as he bowed before the king "Stand." The king chuckled "Do you know why I called you two hear at the moment?" The king sat at his desk "It was about something." The king had a sad smile "Its not about something I've called for some of the best people who are good at their skills and you two seemed like the best choice."
Highpoint. A beautiful capital city and cultural home of the best known poets and Bards, not to mention the holy palace of the King. A woman, tall and agile looking, stood amongst the bushel of the city. Even if one had been preoccupied with their thoughts they never would've missed her, for her exotic beauty led most to become captivated. Her hair was dark, as dark as the beautiful midnight sky. While some of her strands were twisted into braids, her hair was long and unbound. You could say the way she dressed was...strange-loose, flowing, cream and reds and pinks all into one. It was in overall robe, the main color being cream, while the sides of lower half of robe and cloth around waist were a mixture of red and pinks. However, her left arm was in cased in a metal gauntlet and strapped to her hip was a curved long sword, who's sheath bore the insignia of a blooming rose for the Order she belonged to.
"His Majesty castle is seated high in the hills..." She muttered, her eyes scanning the small roll of parchment once more. It had been delivered to her over a fortnight ago, while she was on official business at the Goddess's temple. Luna was more than just a devout agent to the order, she had...special skills, both in way of combat and speech and had used them before under the King's orders. Apparently she was needed to be called on again and swiftly did she make her voyage to Highpoint where she currently stood. Her journey had yet to begin...

After the king spoke for a long while around two hours or so he nodded to his guard to get something unknown as the guard reappeared bowing before the king with what seemed to be robes along with a cloak "Here." He handed the robes to the group the robes being a dark cloak with a dark dragon appearing on it as it seems people clashing with monsters "Decretum de tenebris venatores." The King said to them in old Turin as he nodded his head "You're all going to the deep mountains to get our ally the Dwarves to provide help in the coming war but I've heard the dwarves are in a civil war between three men find out as much as you can and do what you can try to help either man win the throne do you get it?" He nodded his head to the king and bowed "If I could take my leave." He put on his robes over his own clothing along with his cloak blocking his hair as he and the group walked out of the castle and onwards on their horses their tales and the fate of the world in their hands now.

After hearing his majesty's request, Luna was determined to complete it. Though she was currently breaking a few tenements of her order, Luna had promised to help the King, even before she had took her Oath to the Order. Sighing, she planned to write a letter to the temple explaining this side trip before she left the palace and quickly handed it off to a courier. Changing her outfit to something more suited for travel and donning the cloak that the King had provided her, Luna took the reins of a sandy colored mare. With a smile she offered her horse a shiny red apple before stroking the horse's broad nose as she made short work of the apple.
"Honey..." She mumbled, finding a perfect name for her traveling companion before mounting her house.
As she urged her horse forward, Luna glanced at her new company. Majority of them were men, leaving Luna the only female for now...great. Hopefully they wouldn't think she was going to do all the cooking and cleaning nor would she be warming any of their bedsides. Luna was just as strong as them and if they forgot that at all during this journey, she would make sure to remind them! Though clearly that out of her mind for now, Luna nudged Honey forward and spoke up to her new traveling mates.
"Do the Dwarves normally fight much? Can they not end this Civil War quickly?" She directed her question towards them as they trotted out of the main gates of Highpoint. The Royal Palace was long out of view now, but the city was merely a few feet behind them. Where would this quest take them next exactly and what would be their destinies now?
