The mention of her homelands brought memories flooding back. She nodded absently at Markal's comments, briefly lost in her own thoughts and every bit as disconnected as he was, if not more so.
About the time Markal excused himself, a heartbeats-long look came from the boy in the booth. The server's recent words finally reached her consciousness. "I think we're making them uncomfortable," he'd said, and she guiltily realized he was probably right. She flushed pink and offered an apologetic nod to the pair as her conversation partner returned to the bar.
It wasn't until she'd started back to her own table that Markal's earliest remark finally registered. The one about supernatural creatures. She blinked and stopped in her tracks. "Wait, what?"

"They are curious," Luna answered his question with a smirk, glad that his aura seemed to be brightening up. The atmosphere of the tavern had suddenly dissolved and was replaced with a more relaxed nature...good.
"But they seem like good people," Her gaze fell on the two as their conversation drifted in and out of her ears. Good people whom all seemed to be hiding behind a wall...She noted with a nod. This tavern had it's own secrets as well as the patrons...interesting, indeed.
"Do you think we should introduce ourselves? Being friendly couldn't hurt." Luna asked of his opinion with another smile. Besides theyhad been eavesdropping on their entire conversation, it's not like they could hide anything else...well mostly anything else. What else could they manage to lose?

We should. "I think we should," Arashi echoed, "it could prove to be interesting." Quite. Wait, what was he saying? This wasn't him talking. "What's there to hide anymore? They seem very interested in us... it'd be a shame if we didn't introduce ourselves." He soon found himself standing up, his tufted tail now touching the floor. When did that happen? Must've been sitting down too long... He thought, glancing down. He seemed suddenly unaware that he wasn't guiding his own actions, as if in a trance. Arashi then stood, waiting for Luna to get up, as well.
((OOC: I love tails - also, with the italics I'm trying to give the effect of Hakai (Arashi's evil side,) talking alongside Arashi, but in his head. Not sure if the effect is the way I want it to be, but just so you know
I swear, with Arashi, his personality has many forms...Sometimes he can be dumb, sometimes clever, evil, kind, you name it.))

(OOC: Tails are unique! And definitely for an interesting character such as Arashi, whom I am very much enjoying as a character)
Luna rose from her seat, though not before giving Arashi a long look. Had his demeanor suddenly changed? And he had a tail?! Biting on her lip, Luna didn't know what to think about Arashi. He was certainly different and unique but he definitely had more secrets that he hadn't shared yet. Though Luna supposed she had her own as well...
Clearing her mind, she followed behind her new friend and tried her best not to gawk at his tail or step on it. Though her thoughts drifted back to exactly what was Arashi. A demon, that much was certain. But what kind, if there was even types...A dragon maybe? Shadow? Bat?

Markal was cleaning off some of the cups behind the bar and he pretended not to hear their conversation, or anyone else's for that matter. What the rest of the tavern couldn't see though was that he was within easy arm's reach of his kusarigama.
He looked up to see the brightly colored girl had stopped on her way to her table, looking a bit like she'd just woken up from a dream. He chuckled and wondered if she'd really paid attention to anything he'd said.
Markal's hands tensed slightly as he heard the other two decide to go and greet the brightly colored girl and himself. Well, it was really only to be expected. They had been staring for a while. Markal looked up to see the boy now had his tail out. "Hey, you might want to walk with that in your hand or something. It's liable to get stepped on if you don't." In a busy place like this, it was easy enough to get your tail stepped on.

She'd just settled back into her seat when the boy rose from his and, not long after, the girl as well..
They must be leaving, she thought. Markal's words echoed in her head, and a wave of guilt washed over her. Did we make them so uncomfortable they can't stay?
I have to make this right, she thought with a glance in Markal's direction. She stood, snagged her drink as an afterthought, and started to move in the pair's direction.
(OOC: You two can pace this meeting, since you initiated it -- whether the three of us meet in the middle of the tavern or Tuich comes all the way over to your table, etc.)

(ooc: Oh crud, I must have overlooked the part where you said she started to return to her table, I remember reading after that though, oops.)
Arashi stopped when he heard a voice,(probably causing Luna to crash into him ) "Huh? Oh," he said, stopping to grab his tail. "I guess you're right," he glanced in the direction of the voice, eyes meeting a young man. The one who had been speaking with the vibrantly clothed girl, just moments ago. "I'm so used to it that I forget about it easily." He paused, gazing at the boy, intently, as if trying to read his mind. "But why would you care if anyone stepped on it or not?" His tone was distrustful. And are you not afraid...? He then glanced at the brightly dressed woman, who seemed to be making her way back to a table. His right eye suddenly stung again, beneath his mask, he winced in pain, but ignored it, for the most part. She seems wary. Stay alert.
((I forgot about his eyepatch I guess...let's just say that he had put it back on before putting his mask over it...))

Markal looked at him, surprised at the question. He shrugged. "I dunno. It just seems like getting your tail stepped on would hurt." He started wiping up a spill on the counter, completely undaunted by the way the other guy was staring at him. "People have gotten into fights over less. And you know how it goes. A fight starts in here and someone has to break it up."
Against her will, she giggled at Markal's comment. I'd certainly be upset if someone stepped on my tail. If I had one.
(OOC @Arashi: Maybe my bad. You were talking about meeting the two of us, but Markal had already gone back to the bar by then. So I time-jumped forward slightly to when Tuich was back at her table, just to make a clean break and clarify we were no longer standing together talking. Would you like me to retcon my last post so she didn't get to her table? Or just play forward from this point, with the two of you and her all intending to talk?)

With a 'oof', Luna bumped into the back of Arashi as he abruptly came to a halt. Balancing herself so she wouldn't fall flat on her butt, Luna looked up at the young man at the bar who had started to converse with Arashi. Now that she had a better look at him, she felt compelled to stare at his features and study him. His face was young, yet not too young that he wouldn't be able to work at this Tavern. His eyes were a deep, forest green and his hair, a messy mop. Yet his hands were callous, though from what...Luna didn't know. They could've been from hard work but he had mentioned breaking up fights. It could be from the weapon he carries... Luna deducted with a slight smirk. This Tavern was indeed full of secrets~
((ooc: It's probably good to keep going with this...and I'm slightly confused now but yeah.))
Arashi had felt Luna crash into him, earlier and turned around. "Sorry, Luna," he said, bowing his head, he then turned back to the boy, listening to what he was saying.
"I guess it would, and yeah I've heard of that happening...but I don't really hang around taverns that often, so I wouldn't really know these things..." He trailed off. "So, what's your name?" He resumed, getting to the point. There was something intriguing to him, about this kid, and he wanted to learn as much as he could about him. Oh man...I hope he's not like...a demon hunter in disguise or something. He thought, his head oddly free of Hakai's voice. He let go of his tail, letting it fall behind him, now that he wasn't walking around.

The two hadn't walked towards the door as she'd expected, but more in the direction of the bar. Were they going to confront Markal about being stared at? The boy did seem a bit bold, if not confrontational.
She continued over to where they were standing, determined to offer a smile and a polite nod if either of them looked in her direction. Since the boy and Markal were talking when she reached them, she simply waited quietly, sipping her drink and listening.
(OOC @Arashi: I think we can unravel this and get back in sync okay. :o)

The vixentaur nodded and looked at the sky, watching a bird fly overhead, then headed back in.
Markal wondered why he was so interested. Really, most everyone who saw him in here just dismissed him as a serving boy that was sometimes too curious for his own good. "Oh, I'm Markal." He didn't give a last name as he didn't have one.
"What about your names?" He asked both the boy and the girl. They were both quite intriguing.

"Your aura..." Luna began to speak, ignoring the tavern worker's question for now. A small smile graced her features as her eyes bore into his forest green one's briefly.
"You're just as special as Arashi..." She mumbled before turning her gaze on the multicolored women. "And you, your aura as well...Both hold interesting details..." The smile on her face seemed to grow as she stared at the two. One is not of this world and the other...A changer of shape, Luna mused to herself in delight. Her little stop had proved to be more interesting than she would've thought.
"I'm Luna and as you probably know, I am a priestess and a demon hunter...if you will" Luna introduced herself with a small bow and warm smile.
"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintances, though I suppose you two must feel like you already know us" She said, making light of their rather obvious eavesdropping of majority of her and Arashi's conversations.

Emily tossed a few coins to a nearby barman for a room and retired to it, leaving it cracked open to listen to those in the main room.
Meanwhile out on the snowy wasteland walked along a red fox in a green hoodie and camouflage jeans and attached to the hoodie was a sheath to his sword and attached around his leg was his holster for his gun. His name was Max and Max was trudging slowly along the snow and had a few cut wounds around him. Nothing too critical but looked like they were in need of treatment. Upon seeing the tavern, he smiled itn satisfaction at making it to a place where he could rest his weary and wounded body. Max proceeded on in and entered the tavern and took a seat by a empty table and tried to warm up for the time being and once he was ready, he'd get his order and hopefully maybe some medical supplies if he was lucky enough for the tavern to be offering medical help.
(Ooc: was wondering when you'd show up, Max ^^)
Her cheeks flushed in embarrassment. "Well met," she said with a little dip like a curtsy. "Tuich. Look, I'm really sorry about... I came over to apologize for watching the two of you earlier. It's just... I don't know this place, and Markal told me it was dangerous, and when... Arashi, is it? When Arashi leaped up as he did, I thought there was going to be trouble."
Her eyes flicked briefly to her table. "So I moved to somewhere I could watch, just in case. Not that I think you're a troublemaker!" she rushed to add as she looked at Arashi. "Anyway, I'm sorry if that made you uncomfortable, I didn't mean any harm."
Then she addressed the girl. " 'Luna.' Why am I not surprised," she said dryly, despite the look of awe on her face. Then her tone turned to that of wonderment. "You can see and read auras?!"
(OOC @Luna: The sarcastic reaction to your name isn't personal; it's because the moon has long been central to Tuich's fortunes and misfortunes. Her patron, for example.)
