"Oh..." Tuich says, and reaches into a pocket within her silks. After fumbling around a few moments, she frowns and begins hunting in a different pocket, with no better success. "Dammit, Tooley," she mutters under her breath as she pulls off the borrowed cloak and reaches around into what must have been a hidden pocket near the small of her back.

With a sigh of success and relief, she finally draws forth a candle and hands it to Luna. "Here. I have two more if you need them. I carry them for devotionals."

"Would either of you mind if I watched? I've never seen a purification ritual, and I'd like to learn."

Arashi nodded, and couldn't help smiling back. "Okay, then. I trust you. Let's do that as soon as possible."

(ooc: sorry for small reply, I have to go to my school soon for open house, so ye...business )

(can I ask for a short rundown on what is currently happening in the tavern? I don't want to intrude on any plot points which I'm not welcomed in.)

A portal suddenly appears on the ceiling of the Tavern, nothing happens for a moment but then, a person in a blue hooded cloak falls out of it and slams onto a table and slides off of it, landing face first on the ground, the portal evaporates. The person groans. "...This isn't Everfall for sure..."

Tuich's head snapped around at the sudden commotion, and her jaw dropped.

"So that's what it looks like from the destination side," she mused quietly.

She started to go see if the fallen figure was alright. But then she considered the unknown-to-her dangers in this place, and decided to wait a few heartbeats.

(OOC @Warper: Welcome aboard! At least Tuich had the courtesy to phase in over an empty field. ;o) Though why they don't put those portals at ground level, I'll never understand. :op )

The person continues to lay on the floor, holding his head and grumbling, trying to recover from what felt like being slammed up against a tree... face first of course.

(OOC : well, when a portal forms across the universe, it's kinda hard to tell what orientation it will be in unless you're on the same planet or plain the exit portal's going to be on. (infact, it's possible to get gravity locked between an entrance and exit portal if one's facing up, and the other down. now that would be embarrassing.) )

A cloaked woman who at first glance looked like a normal human casually strolled into the tavern and sat at a random spot that was not taken. After she sat she began to silently ponder what she should do and how she could impress the folks hanging out at this tavern and even more importantly if she should even try. Some folks really did not like strange things and were willing to do the harshnest things in response.

The sudden arrival of a portal and another mysterious and hooded patron, drew Luna's attention. Her eyebrows raised in slight amusement and confusion, Luna blinked as if to clear her vision. But when her eye lids fluttered back open, the figure was still on the floor, groaning in pain. It seemed that the Purification rite would probably have to wait.
"Markal, I'll need that room on standby and both you and Arashi in there before sunset..." She uttered, before making her way towards the blue hooded figure.

"Sir? Are you alright?" She asked, bending down to his level to offer help. Even if he had fallen out of a portal, which was definitely a peak of interest, he was definitely going to be injured from a fall like that one.

After a while of being in the tavern, Swirly Carnation notices a commotion between a group of folks with some who were injured and one whom had appeared out of nowhere. She smiles, this is her chance she thinks to herself as she get up and approaches the group.

"How is it going today?" she asks them not reallly bothered by the strange situation. This may be something she had never seen before but if didn't mean she would go 'ooh' and 'aw' and make a big commotion. She preferred just acting like it was normal and see how things play out. Whether the reaction positive or negative not even she knew.

Detouring by the hooks to return the borrowed cloak, Tuich followed Luna over to the new arrival while chiding herself for having hesitated. She stopped to the side and a bit behind the girl, quietly evaluating the man.

A question at her shoulder caused Tuich to glance to the side, where stood a cloaked figure. "A bit oddly," she responded. Then returning to eyeing the fallen man, she added under her breath, "Which, for me, is a perfectly ordinary day."

Markal had turned around at the sound of someone falling. He snorted trying to hold in a laugh. The poor guy had landed on his face but one had to admit it was at least mildly funny. He watched the others go to the man's aid.

Another newcomer approached as well, asking a question completely unrelated to what was going on. "It's certainly been interesting." He said in answer. He went to the room, dropping off the bucket of water behind the bar as he went. While he was in the room waiting, he decided to start a fire in the small fireplace and threw the dirty cloth in the fire.

The man gets up on his knees, and stands up, having gotten dizzy from the fall, he regains his balance. He also spits out a few teeth onto the floor. "Eh... where is this place exactly?"

Swirly Carnation acknowledged the replies to her question my saying, "Seems like fine day to me."
When the person who appeared out of nowhere asked were he was Carnation was not able to respond. Since she was new to this land she did not know what is was called. So she simply looked at the others who were approaching this person and waited for them to answer his question.

Tuich looked up... and up... and up as the man rose. Someday I'd like to wind up in a reality where I'M the tall one.

She studied him with concern, but couldn't suppress a brief giggle. "Honestly, I've been trying to find that out since I got here last night. Are you hurt... wait," she said as she glanced at the bloody teeth on the floor, "that's a silly question. How badly are you hurt? Might I help?"

(OOC: Waiting for Markal to yell, "Hey! No littering!" :oD )

The person looks down at Tuich, and the others around him. None of these people are from Sairia, not one Civil Dragon or anything else of that matter to be seen either. "This is definitely not on Sairia..."

(is this still open? or am i a little too late?)

"So your from Sairia," said Swirly Carnation assuming he was from Sairia from what he had said. Swirly Carnation had never heard of Sairia at all and this time she was not going to try to act like she knew since she was at the moment blending in with the folks at this place.

"Do you suddenly teleport to other places often? Or is this a first time?" she added.
