Tenebris looked directly at the sniper, staring at him as if daring him to attack. He smiled.
Damon flinched at the question. Not because she asked about his pockets, he had his suspicions that she noticed his fiddling earlier, he just wasn't sure. It was something else she said, "How do you know my name?" He wasn't wanted in this area, and wouldn't be for another few days. So how did she know?
Quickly making his way around a corner, The Ranger soon faded into the shadows under the alley. Despite the straight forward encounter, nevertheless from a long distance, the enigmatic masked man held his heavy weapon against his back, leaning against the wall behind him...
"Oy, it's one o' those freaks..."
Quietly whispering through his breather device, The Ranger held his rifle firmly, racing through the covers between the town's shadowy gaps towards his target on an alarming way.

Tenebris ran and vaulted the railing on the building. He crouched low and landed on the floor, he felt his legs crack at the impact, but they quickly healed.
(This looks fun, so I'm joining. May I?)
Somewhere in this vast world, two figures moved along the darkness of the night, travelling throughout a thick forest.
The first one, a giant creature, had a heavy build, majestic silver fur, strong snout and determined golden irises. It looked no more than a giant mutant wolf, but also it knew its origins and it honored it. This creature was no freaking wolf, but one of the long lost wargs.
Walking beside it, there was a tall, fair skinned woman that carried some sort of sharp gundaggers in her holsters. Her blonde hair looked almost white, sea blue eyes, a small smirk and cocky attitude.
Both walked to the end of this accursed forest, towards what looked like some random town, filled with lights and busy sounds, even at night.
"Well, this looks like it, Selenya. I know you hate human cities, but I promise we won't stay in it for too long!" The woman said, smiling to her warg friend, who growled in annoyance then calmed.
With that said, they've entered the place, unaware of what may happen once they are fully inside it...

Finally, the pursuer met face-to-face with his bounty...
"... Gotcha'!"
Tenebris could clearly see the being from before cornering him. An apparent man clad with a leather duster coat, trimmed with ammo belts and hidden gadgets, probably more concealed weapons and other destructive trinkets.
With a loud blast and a blinding flash, The Ranger took the boisterous shot against his, possibly, doomed prey.

The bullet passed straight through his chest, he looked down and smiled, collapsing into shadows. He reappeared in front of the man, grabbing the gun which turned to smoke, just as he himself had done before. There was a clink behind him as the bullet fell to the ground, having gone through his entire body. The bullet hole, already mending itself, shadows filling the gap.
Thirty seven thousand credits just vanished with a single touch in front of The Ranger eyes. The absurdly short moment that he had to think about what has just happened were filled with a rage of one billion hundreds burning suns.
As soon as the 12.7mm felt on the ground behind Rene, The Ranger immediatly pulled an arm-lenght machete from under his coat, slashing ferociously against his enemy as a response.

Every slash left a tear in his skin that was completely healed within seconds, tneebris stood there staring. "Ill give back your toy if you calm down."
Knowing he was just getting into trouble by this point, The Ranger wasn't going to hold back once he already began his offensive. Rene's quick regeneration, that if he was actually being harmed at all, was presumed to be a temporary effect on the first rapid moments The Ranger unleashed his assault... However...
"Think I deal wit' freaks, ay?! Yer' gonna' gimme' ma' heater..."
Dashing a couple of feets back away from Tenebris, The Ranger dug his arm inside his coat, pulling a fist sized contraption, radiating a deep blue light that could make the shadowy figure flinch painfully for some intricate reason...
"... An' yer' gonna' gimme' it NOW, PUNK!!"
With a violent charge, The Ranger clenched his fist around the device, making it burst into a wave of debilitating energy as soon as he aimed a vicious punch for Rene's face!

The shadows stretched towards the strange contraption, forming tentacle-like arms. It put out the light on it and crunched it into a metal ball on his fist, breaking several bones.
"You should know what youre getting into" he smiled plainly andstepped closer.

Eri was unsure of what to do next. She managed to escape from the ones trying to capture her, but those people were persistent, and wouldn't give up that easily. She was currently hiding in a dense forest, thinking on what to do next. Thankfully she only needed mana to survive, so she could stay hidden there for as long as there was a source of magic. Thinking this, she decided to go deepper into the forest, feeling curiosity at what she might find there.
The energy field around his arm effortlessly held Rene's inky tendrils effortlessly at bay, not even able to touch The Ranger through the surge.
"... I'm havin' a bad time wit' a punk freak... !!"
Taking the opportunity of close quarters while the device were still operative, The Ranger locked his eyes with Tenebris' as he was attempted to rise an uppercut against Rene's chin. The force into the punch were just enough to upsurge The Assailant a couple of meters above!

a dark ring opened above him, and another behind the soldier. The soldier fell through and reappeared above, tenebris grabbed his hand and whipped him downwards, the man flew against the concrete with a sickening crunch. tenebris landed on him, and kicked him repeatedly, then grabbed the defice out of his hand, crushing it into shadows, he started kicking the man brutally.
Even though they were almost near the city, a presence in the forest ticked the warg off.
Her companion turned around with a puzzled expression.
"Come on Selenya, this is no time for hunting some deer!" She tried to reason with her best friend, but the beast just ignored her. With a sigh, Night decided that helping the warg would be the best way to have things done quickly.
Enhancing her senses, the lady's pupils turned into sharp slits like a snake eye. Her sense of smell, hearing and vision increased severely.
With that, she and the warg turned back into the forest searching for their prey.

Kaoss had been exploring the abandoned house for a good while by now. He collapsed in a corner of the house's bedroom staring out the window across the room. What is the world I've woken up in? He thought. The shadows around him covering his body in complete darkness. He was practically a shadow himself.
"How did I know your name?" Sakarixilii echoed to Damon. "I don't know for sure, not yet. It depends on who gave you that name and why. But really, what's in that pocket? Nervous as you are, it's bound to be interesting.
(I hope this is okay)
Bassam huffed, his dark amber eyes glowing with frustration as the spokes of his cart wheels got caught on another bush. "Ugh. These things are a pain," he sighed, leaning down to untangle the branches. The tip of his long, yellow-black tail flicked idly as he straightened. "Hm. Perhaps I can do something about that."
Lowering himself to the ground, the naga slithered beneath his cart on his back. He deftly swiped one taloned nail against his fangs, nodding when it came away with a pale silver liquid. This he tapped against a symbol on the wheel hubs, and in a moment, the spacing of the spokes grew wider. He grinned and slid out from under the cart, only to freeze when the pouch strapped on his chest trembled.
The dark skinned naga looked down, his brows knitting with worry. "What is it, Noora?" The tiny gray and gold mouse poked her head out, ears perked and squeaking urgently, the moon-shaped bell on her ear tinkling faintly. Immediately, Bassam's eyes narrowed and he sank into a defensive stance. He blinked and his slitted pupils widened, taking in the infrared version of the far areas around him.
"That's a warg. Definitely." Whipping around, he spat on his hand and slapped it onto another symbol, this time on the side of the cart. After a moment, it flickered and became dark green, patterned with shadows. Satisfied, The naga pulled on his own pine green cloak and slithered off toward the warg and the young woman. 'What could they be looking for?'

Damon raised an eyebrow at her response, unsure of what she meant. It was just the name his parents picked. He didn't trust this woman so he decided to try a half-truth to satisfy her, "Depends on your definition of interesting. Is a wallet that interesting to you?" His wallet was in fact in his pocket, along with a second small bag with various small jewels that he "found" inside a few higher class homes.
Sakarixilii laughed. "Terribly worried about pickpockets, are you? Life must be very hard if you're constantly this nervous." She tilted her head, her mouth smiling playfully but her eyes sharp and searching. "But you're not, usually. And your evasion has made me far more curious than usual."
