NOW THIS IS A THREAD I CAN GET IN TO.
This is Marishka, she's very loud and very very friendly and tolerant and loving. She sleeps on my chest every night, loves belly rubs, and will roll from one side of the house to the next if you give her any catnip. Lightweight.

Pet thread? Pet thread!
This is Mayling! Not Mei Ling, as my MGS friends tend to believe. Coincidence! She's some sort of Siamese/tabby mix we adopted after the death of our previous house cat (who will not be pictured, but that was a Tuxedo). Mayling's a prim lil' sleek princess, silently scoffing at us and our other tabby, when she isn't lounging around like a queen. She's loud and insistent though, especially around dinner time.
BONUS PIC!
This was Woodrow (Wilson Williams, my parents thought they were funny) He was a runty grey cat of some sort they rescued from a rabbit cage (where he was purposefully left!) mid-August, early into their marriage. He was wicked smart, acted more like a dog than a cat, and often kicked the rears of every other cat in the neighborhood so he could be Top Banana. He also hunted like mad and frequently had summer-time wars with the mockingbirds. He was a fantastically patient guy, too, always tolerating us kids petting and tugging on him. Wonderful cat, 10/10, died of kidney failure + old age: he lived to be 18!
To Come as an edit: Tabasco (our other tabby!) and Auggie (our previously-living doggie, RIP ;~; )

A new computer was just built for me from the parts of my old laptops; the mousepad came just in time, very handy! ...Marishka likes it, too!
Oh hello pet thread, let me post to you~
Oldest to youngest--
This is Scylla. My hound mix, she is 5. If the wisdom panel is to be believed, she is coonhound, lab and some shar pei (which is more noticeable in her sister). She's my velcro dog and my sister fostered her litter from a rescue in Ohio. So she's been raised by her and then me from birth.
This is Ghost; yes named after the Game of Thrones Ghost. He's a 4 year old purebred husky and a purebred terror when he wants to be I call him my best worst dog. He's lording over the stolen christmas bones in that one picture... We adopted him from a couple who bought two littermate husky puppies from the pound and realized how much of hellions they could be.
Last doglet is Phoebe, a husky-chowchow-whateverelsethemailmandogwas mix. She's my derp. She will be 3 this year. She was another we got from Ohio. My sister got her older brother from a guy who just lets his dogs breed willy nilly and was going to put the puppy on the street because no one wanted him. When Pheobe's litter came round, he was giving them away way too young and my sister took in Phoebe and her brother Greyn to raise and adopt out. We adopted her originally to a coworker of mine who ended up not being able to keep her... And we fell in love with the little dumbaby before I could find her another home.
Then I have this angry little fish named Namor.
And last but not least, my newest addition a whee baby axolotl. I got him as a birthday present to fill the hole my recently passed bearded dragon Rasputin left. The girls who bought it for me wanted me to name it Punisher, so it's Frank Castotl. I'm currently obsessed with it because omgsocute.

I have a few pets, but my most photogenic (and with the most photos) would be Babou (yes, named after the ocelot from Archer.)
And finally, the day we brought him home from the pound...

Yay petsies!
Minke
My white deaf male cat. He's a big cuddlewhup but only when he initiates. His dignity gets offended when you pick him up and smoosh your face into his and kiss him and squeeze him, but he has no problem with taking the initiative and nestling in your lap, kneading your tummy and curling up against your side when you're laying down.
Dette
My tux female cat. She's very curious, friendly and tolerant to the ragdoll level. I got her when she was 9 weeks old, she was emaciated, flea infested and probably a stray who lost her mommy by snoozing in my friend's mom's lease car. I adopted her and got her fattened up and now she's a loving bundle of mischief. She's still a very small kitty but healthy!
Both my cats are trained to walk on a leash, ride the car in the front seat without carrier, walk into the carrier when presented to them, listen to verbal (and gesture) commands, are socialized with other cats, dogs and my friend's ferret, they're both extremely tolerant of poking children and thanks to Minke's deafness, neither one is particularly troubled by thunder, fireworks and the vacuum cleaner. (Dette still doesn't like it, but she doesn't run as if Cthulhu himself descended upon my apartment...) They're very friendly towards strangers and seek company all the time, and they get along great with one another.
Douwe
He's my parents' newest dog. We used to have a Friesian Stabyhoun named Binky when I was 12, but we had to put him down in February 2014 because he suffered a stroke and refused to eat or drink (he was 13.5 years old then). That summer, my parents signed up for a waiting list to get a Friesian Wetterhoun puppy. They're a nearly extinct breed, only about 800-900 are currently officially registered as purebred dogs, and their temperaments and traits are unlike any other breed I know! He's a very active, smart, mischievous little devil doggy who loves to be in constant contact with humans. He walks off the leash really well and I walk him often when my dad goes fishing in the morning. He's very submissive towards my cats when they visit, cause they don't tolerate his hyperactiveness and make sure he knows! They get along well as long as they don't bother each other though.
(Both my kitties fall victim to lipstick day!)
(I bought Douwe a kiddie pool this year. )

Luke
Luke is my oldest baby. He is also my most clingy baby. It was fun looking for a photo without me in it! Cause usually he is attached to my hip...literally.

TJ
TJ is the second oldest. Her initials stand for "Thumbelina Jr." which originally was Thumbs Jr. after her papa..till suddenly HE was a SHE..oooops. She is a polydactyl! She isn't much for cuddling but she loves sticking her tongue out

Oscar
Oscar is a more recent temporary addition to our household until his forever home is available. He is also a polydactyl like TJ. He is a love bug but cautious around new people. He's also the second -biggest- of my brood.

Storm
Storm got his name because he was found on a pretty mean stormy night. His mama abandoned him and left him on our porch so I took him in and bottled fed him. Now he's a full grown pain in his mama's butt! But like the others he's a huge love bug.

Pudge
Pudge is another who is in our home awaiting his forever home. He is the biggest of the kitties and the youngest of those listed here. (I am currently housing several babies who will be looking for forever homes..I help foster and home stray kittens.) He is probably my weirdest too with his unusually long face.

I've once told the tale of Meeko, the little dog I pulled out of a garbage can and sadly had to give away. Well, I have me a new dog now! Technically, it's my father's dog, but the big cow is so happy whenever I'm around he considers it mine as well.
Allow me to introduce you to Hooch, my big, droopy Bordeauxdog!
My dad and stepmother got this poor animal from the pound after it lived about four years of his life in an illegal breeding shelter before it got rescued. And despite having lived in what I imagine to be a living hell, this dog is extremely friendly and loves almost literally everything! It keeps destroying the walls around our chicken coop because he wants to play with his feathered friends. He once chased a wounded cat, which we thought would be the end of the cat, but the big softy ended up licking its wounds. And he is extremely friendly towards children.
Yet despite his amazing characteristics, he is rarely allowed in any bars or the like. They believe this friendly giant to be an aggressive monster, while in truth it is possibly the most friendly animal I have ever come across. Hell, he even stopped drooling all over the house because he realized it agitated my stepmother! That's how far Hooch goes to make his owners happy! He wouldn't hurt a fly!
Sure, he's not the most pretty looking dog, but he is definitely the sweetest, and I love him. He's an adorable cow and I love every moment I am with him.
Here are some more pictures of Hooch being the most dangerous terror in the neighbourhood.

OH HO HO HO!
Meet Mochi (not named for Big Hero6 lol)! I've had her since she was about a month old, she's about 8-9 months old now. She was found in an old, dilapidated barn in Northern Minnesota. The rest of her litter didn't make it, but she had crawled under a haybale for warmth and was found by some kind people. She came to me through my cousin, and when I got home from Japan, she met me at the airport with my mom and sister

I made this a while ago, starring my hamster,an action figure, and the dog I'm dogsitting. Her name's Molly.
Your dog is such a G.
This is my cat, Frubenius, usually just called the queen.
She lives at my mum's place, because I didn't want to make her live in an apartment, when she is used to being an outside cat.
She is wonderful

Time to show off my babies.
This here is Bastet! She is a sassy little cat that thinks she owns the world. She's a terror and I love her to death.
Iridill! My blue monk parrot. He is also pretty bossy and wants all of the attention. For some reason he says Aflac and does this really creepy laugh on an occasion. I got him from the shelter, too.
Annnd last but not least is Totoro~ He's a sweet chinchilla, does his own thing, likes the occasional snuggle. Softest baby of them all.

I see some wonderful kitties!
I got her from my brother. Apparently, her name is Saturday. Yes. She can be the spoke's cat for "Caturday".
Jazz. From small and cuddly, to chubby.
I have three others. A Calico coloured cat and her tortiedaughter and a shaggy, orange cat named Rambo.
