Well I feel like a butt hole now, and I apologize. I do understand that some people do have serious illnesses that can prevent them from posting, so I'm sorry and I never intended to offend anyone. I know that not everyone deals with sickness the same way is I do (being sick prevents me from sleeping a lot of the time). So again, sorry to anyone I offended.

Thank you for saying this, it's very mature of you. :)
It's very mature of you to apologize. I know myself with my fibromyaglia, I have a variety of symptoms and pains. Sometimes it hurts to look at a screen, and typing is a torture. So when I say 'I was sick', it's usually because I've had a fibromyalgia flare-up that caused one of many terrible pains or symptoms. I'm really glad you understand things better now, as I have to admit, seeing that thread really upset me. It filled me with guilt, and I felt like crying. That maybe I was being selfish to my partners when I disappeared for days at a time due to this illness that controls my life. It hurt me to think maybe other people thought the same. So seeing this really made me feel better. Thank you for apologizing.

Thank you very much. I'm glad you've come to understand the position of the (chronic) sick a little more today!

Hey man, thanks for apologizing. It was big of you to step up. As another chronically ill member of RPR, I can definitely agree that your first thread really highlighted the fears and guilt that are constant for many of us when our activity gets inconsistent beyond our control.

It's also good to remember that some folks, regardless of the sickness or severity, use stationary PCs, and don't always have the luxury of lying in bed on a laptop even if they wanted to!

I know it can be frustrating waiting on someone to post indefinitely, but a little patience and understanding can go a very long way and it means a lot to the people who are hindered in their day-to-day life in so many other ways by their illnesses. So, I hope this experience has taught you that when your partner says "I'm sick, I may take a while." It doesn't always mean an easy case of the sniffles!

Cheers, and happy RPing <3
