He would pick her up and show her something very cool. He would run behind a building... concentrate and flash to on top of the building at the corner. "Show me which one you want."

Cyn blinked as suddenly they were taking to the top of the building! "Whoah! What is it with you and heights??" She held onto him tightly, like before. "Um....let's go for that one." She pointed to one of the buildings and smiled. "Sound good?"

"Okay." He would flash to behind that building and walk around it with her. "Saves me time, I can travel that fast for about one thousand miles... when I figured it out, I actually flashed every country in a day. It was fun."

Cynthia laughed outright. "Okay...better wording, Jett, you need better wording!!" She giggled a bit and smiled at him, walking into the building. They would get taken to a table and given menus.

"Wording? What's wrong with flash..." Jett paused, "Oh come on!" as he sat down. "I already know what I would like ma'am." Jett paused for a moment. "I'd like steak and eggs, a couple biscuits and sausage gravy, with some fruit on the side, and a very large orange juice please?"

Cynthia giggled a bit and shook her head, smiling. "You're silly." She would look over her menu and order pancakes and bacon with some scrambled eggs and orange juice. Then she leaned back in her seat a little and looked at him with a smile.

"What's that for? Did I forget to get the shaving cream off my face?" Jett laughed. "I may be silly, but I'm hungry and I know what I like... works out when you start trying to date too." Jett would laugh. "So who called you this morning if you don't mind me asking?"

Cynthia laughed a little bit. "Oh really? Well I'll take your word for it." She smiled, but it slipped a little bit when he asked that question. "Oh, uh...Just a friend asking if I was okay after yesterday." She hated lying to him, but it wasn't a COMPLETE lie. It was a bit true.

"Okay... wanna try that again?" Jett had been trained for years to weed out lies, she was very bad at it. "I can tell that's not all of it."

Cynthia bit her lip when he called her out on her lie. "...okay. Fine. But you have to promise you won't get upset, and you have to promise NOT to do anything about it. Okay? Promise me, Jett."

"I can't make that promise, but I will promise to try and hold it down better than I did yesterday okay?" Jett got a little concerned.

Cynthia shook her head. "That's not good enough, Jett. You have to promise me that you at least won't do anything. Alright?"

"I promise... but I don't like it." Jett grew frustrated, and was now even more concerned. "You have to promise me that if it is really bad I am allowed to be upset about it."

Cynthia nodded. "You can be upset if you want. Just as long as you don't do anything about it." She sighed. "Well...it was my boss. She called to see if I was okay after yesterday. And...she fired me."

"Well that's not a big deal." Jett knew this was not as bad as it could've been. "If that is really all, it's fine, I can solve the issue non-violently though..." Jett would wait for her response.

Cynthia sighed a little in relief. "Good. I thought you might get upset. And there's no issue to solve, Jett. I'm fired, that's it. I still have two other jobs, I'll be fine."

"I'm sure you'll be fine, but hear me out okay?" Jett paused. "I would like to buy the old bakery on the corner here", Jett pointed out the window, "Would you work the bakery for me?"

Cynthia nodded. "Alright. I'll hear you out." She listened to him, then blinked. "...you want to buy a bakery? You'd have to get bakers and stuff too, you know?"

Jett nodded acceptingly, "I would just give you the money to pay your bills since it is my fault you were fired, but you'd never accept that. So I'd planned on opening a bakery and running it myself, but I'd like to employ you as a Manager, if you don't mind the offer?"

Cynthia thought over it. "Good, you know me. You're right I wouldn't accept that." She thought over the offer. "It might be interesting. You can't run it all by yourself though. You still need workers, bakers, etcetera. But I think working there might be nice."
