"Stan should stop being flirtatious... it's better for his health that way.", Jett became increasingly more uncomfortable with Stan by the minute.

Jett would switch seats with Cyn so that she was considerably harder to reach than before, then he would put his arm around her, he was a bit on the protective somewhat jealous side, but it was only because he cared for her so.

Cyn sighed slightly. She wasn't surprised that he was protective. She would lean in to kiss him deeply, holding it for a long few moments before pulling away. "It doesn't matter whether he flirts with me or not. I don't care, because there's no one I care about except for you." she said softly. She would lean against him and kiss his cheek, smiling softly. "So don't worry...okay?"

Jett relaxed with her words as he leaned back against the seat, he would keep his arm around her though, it was comforting.

Cynthia would relax with him as the flight took place. She would fall asleep against him, but her dreams worried her. She woke often and finally just stayed awake. "You'll be okay, Jett. I promise." She was scared. Scared of losing him.

"Whenever we get where we're going, I'll be happier damned plane." He would take a deep breath and try to calm down for her sake... his chances of enjoying this flight seemed unlikely, pain coupled with douchebaggery is not a good combination. "He's a good pilot right?", he was unsure not knowing the guy.

Cynthia chuckled. "Yeah, he's a good pilot. A great one. Just hang in there. It shouldn't be too much longer now." She smiled slightly. Soon, they could start feeling the descent of the plane, and once they were securely landed, Stan came out from the cockpit. "Now, that wasn't so bad, was it? Come on, let's get your luggage and get you two on the ground. Welcome to Australia!"

He helped with their bags, and Cynthia helped Jett up and out onto the tarmac. She smiled. "Just like I remember it..." Stan stepped over to her. "Brings back memories, eh, hot stuff?" He winked at her. "Give you any ideas, maybe?" Cynthia caught his hand as it tried to go for her rear. "Nope. No ideas. Thanks for the ride though, Stan. I really appreciate it." She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, then moved away from him and took Jett's hand. "Alright, let's get you back to healthy, okay?"

Jett stood silently as the man attempted to flirt with his woman, in the nicest way, he did nothing. Any other action would've involved Stan's spleen and the propeller of his plane, "Thanks Stan, I'll pay you back.", he would take her side and make his way out of the airport with her, he would find a payphone to reach his contact... He would need to rest on a bench for a few minutes.

Cynthia helped him to a nearby bench, looking around. "There should be a payphone right...over there." She pointed to one, then looked at him. "Just hang in there, Jett. You'll be back to yourself in no time, okay?" She smiled at him and kissed his cheek gently. "Just hang in there. We can do this."

He could feel his strength fading, "I need to get this over with, you know how it is, if you sit for too long...", he was not going to make it at this rate. Once to the payphone he made the appropriate phone calls, "...7th and Alibi, got it...", the call would go on for a few more minutes after that...

After the phone call Jett's eyes would roll a bit, but he would catch himself, "Whoa, that wasn't fun..."

Cynthia caught him. "Jett! Jett please, just hang in there!" She was getting scared. "Just focus, okay? Stay awake." She called for a taxi and had it take them to the address, holding onto Jett's hand tightly. "Just focus, right? Eyes on me, okay? We're going to get through this, and you'll be right as rain, okay? I promise."

Once in the cab he would rest a bit, "I'm going to make it...", he wanted to say maybe, "Just in time I think."

Once to the location he explained to the driver that he would be best to take the rest of the day off, he gave him several grand, the driver agreed and turned the car off. The building was a beat up old apartment complex, unfit for living anymore. "This is it, he's on the third floor...", Jett would drop to one knee... "He's an old friend, Malakai, go get his hydro lift, I'll become to heavy to lift..." Jett's eyes would close and he would fall to the ground... time had finally come to an end... maybe...

Cynthia gasped. "Jett!" She caught him. There was no time to go fetch something. Time to remind him that she wasn't exactly human. He was ridiculously heavy. RIDICULOUSLY heavy. But she managed to heft him over her back and get him up the stairs. It was a struggle. But it was also one of those 'supermom' moments, when a mother can lift a tree off her trapped child. Cynthia was coursing with adrenaline to save Jett. She wasn't going to let him die when they were this close! She got to the third floor. "MALAKAI! Help!!"

Jett's body had seized, leaving him seemingly lifeless, as she lifted him up the stairs they would creak and a few would crack. Luckily these weathered metal stairs were able to sustain their weight. He would feel like a car laying on her shoulder.

Cynthia had to drag his body through the door and into the room. "Malakai!! Get over here now!!" She would bring him into the room and wait for this 'Malakai' person to come get Jett. She was scared. Terrified, really. What if they were too late? What if they were JUST BARELY too late?

Malakai, a very young looking kid, no older than 13 would come from around the corner... "Whoa! Who are you!? IS THAT JETT!?", he would rush over to aid in pulling Jett into the room. "We need to get him into the lab!", the boy would say as he stood and ran to the wall. The boy smacked a small thermostat on the wall, "Hold on!"

The floor would fall into the building, by mechanical means, down several hundred feet, a feeling of weightlessness would likely encompass the group.

Cynthia followed. "No time to explain, he's out cold!" She held onto Jett as they suddenly plummetted downwards, since there was really no other way. "YOU'RE Malakai? You're the one that can save him??" He was just a kid! Wow. Talk about child geniuses!

Malakai would look over, somewhat embarrassed, "Yeah, I'm Malakai." The floor would continue to fall for a few more seconds before slowing down. The had traveled at least a thousand feet under ground in only about twenty seconds. At this point a very large laboratory would open up, empty, only the sounds of mechanical gears, circuitry, and bubbling chemistry would be heard. Large blue and green lights would paint the relatively dark room enough that it could be seen. Once at the bottom Malakai would put his hand up, "Let me go get the lift, it'll be easier for me.", he would run to grab the left cart...

Jett's mouth would begin to spill a little blood out of the side of his lips... he wasn't looking good.

Cynthia panicked when she saw the blood. "Malakai!! Hurry! We don't have time for that, he's dying!!" She touched Jett's cheek, tilting his head so he didn't drown in his own blood. "Just hang in there, Jett! Hang in there!" Tears pricked at her eyes but she refused to let them fall. She had to keep hope.

Jett's body was getting very stiff as Malakai returned with the lift, "Don't worry, if anyone wants him to live it's me." Malakai placed Jett onto the lift and began moving him across the lab to a large surgery table. His heart had stopped by the time he reached the table, "Quick grab those pads over there!", he would say to Cyn.

Cynthia ran and grabbed the pads, bringing them over to him. "Jett!! Jett, hold on!! Hang in there!!" She was panicking. She couldn't even imagine if he died. That would be... She didn't even want to think about it. "Malakai, hurry!!"
