Cyn just sent back, 'You'll see.' Once he got to the cafe, it seemed like a nice place on the outside. Relaxing, pretty. Not too fancy, but not exactly casual. Once he came inside, a light tingling bell would herald his arriving. And then he would see what Cyn had meant. Each waitress was dressed in a cute maid outfit! Not all-out with frills and laces, but still very cute and very pretty. Cynthia herself came up to him and smiled. "Hi, Jett! Come on, there's a table over here." She smiled and led him to a nice table in the corner.

"Impressive, I like it!" Jett followed her to a table and sat down. "What is the deal, this doesn't seem like your kinda thing or something you'd find very often, but you do look cute in that!"

Jett was looking around to see the patrons and the inside of the place. He was impressed, he was also very hungry. "What's good to eat here?"

Cynthia blushed a little and smiled at him. "Thanks. And yeah, I know. But it pays really nice, and we're respected here, believe it or not. The guests don't touch, everyone enjoys it, and it lets me get my girly side out every so often." She chuckled and handed him a menu. "Well, let's see. You're a big meat fan. I would suggest the meatloaf. It's not as plain as it sounds, trust me. And it's really good." She would let him look over it though, and see if he saw anything else he liked. "Also, since you kind of mentioned that money's not a problem, if you want meat-meat I would tell you to go for the steak."

"I'll have the steak and egg combo with meatloaf, and when is your break or lunch?" Jett was going to purchase something for her as well. "I wanna make sure you eat well today!" He smiled brightly.

Jett looked around after Cyn left and was wondering how much this place cost... that's right he was thinking about buying this place... He could make Cyn the manager of the place and still let the owner make money off of it. Jett didn't want a profit, but he liked what he saw and wanted to preserve it. Cyn was likely to get a massive tip too.

Cynthia smiled and nodded a little. "Alright." She wrote down what he wanted, then looked at him. "Hm? Oh, ummm..." She glanced at the clock. "I've still got an hour before lunch." She giggled a little bit. "I eat fine, Jett. Don't worry." She smiled. "What would you like to drink?" Once he told her, she would be off to put in his order. She also went around to some other tables, taking care of the other customers in her area. Then she came back with his drink. "Here you go. So how was your morning?"

"Well it wasn't too bad, I did some walking, thinking, the usual. Saw the kids we gave the soccer balls to." Jett took a sip of his juice, "One of the mothers came up and hugged me and asked me where my wife was!" Jett laughed pretty good at this.

Jett was ready to eat, but he was going to wait for Cyn for lunch. "Hey make sure you have them hold off on my food, if you don't mind I'd like to eat with you?" Jett was in no hurry.

Cynthia listened to him and smiled. "Really? That's great!" She giggled at the wife comment, then smiled gently when he spoke of holding off on his food. "Are you sure? I usually just have a sandwich or something in the back room, and it's going to be an hour until I go on break, remember?" She didn't want him to be bored. Someone called for her and she looked over. "Be right there!" She looked at Jett and smiled apologetically. "Sorry, I have to take care of this." She hurried off to the other table.

"Don't worry the juice is good, and besides I'm in no hurry at all." He said as she scooted off. He was actually just happy to see her. In all honesty he thought to himself that he would rather buy the place now and give her the day off! He had a good chuckle at this. Then he thought that's what he could do for the next hour. When Cyn would comeback he would ask, "Where is the owner of this place? Can I talk to him? Gotta make sure he knows you're a great gal and make the place shine!" He would wink and smile.

Cynthia came back and blinked. "The owner? What do you need to talk to him for?" It didn't make sense to her honestly. And she knew his little excuse was just that; an excuse. "Jett, what do you really want to talk to the owner for?" She sighed and glanced around, checking on each table without going over to them. The bell rang as a new customer came in, and Cyn turned around quickly so her back was to the door. "Shoot." she mumbled under her breath. "He's back."

One of the other waitresses walked by her. "I'll take care of him, Cyn. Just stay in your area, I'll get him." Cyn gave the girl a thankful smile, then sighed a little bit and spoke to Jett. "I have to take care of some other orders. Just sit tight, okay?" And she went off to work at the other tables for a few moments.

"Okay no worries" Jett looked over to see what was bothering Cyn, and he was a little protective of her. "Don't worry about me okay? Work and when it slows down, I'll make sure to get your attention." Jett knew she was working so he wanted to be respectful of that. Jett was concerned about the guy who came in, he couldn't see him real well, but he didn't like how uncomfortable Cyn got.

Cynthia moved around with her tables, getting orders and delivering food and whatnot. The guy that came in seemed to be watching her often. Finally, Cynthia returned to Jett with another glass of juice for him. "Here. Sorry. It gets busy around this time, but it should slow up soon." She glanced over her shoulder at the man at the table, then quickly looked away. "I'll go ask the boss if I can take my break early." She went into the back room, and would be back in five minutes.

She went over to his table and sat down. "Boss says I can take my break now. One of the other waitresses got in early so she can take over my shift." She smiled a little at him. "Also, our food should be coming soon."

Cyn would sit down with him and he would reach across the table for her hand, "Is everything okay you're looking at that guy a lot and he's looking at you even more..." Jett was genuinely concerned, "Can I help?"

Their food would appear and Jett would wait to see what the issue was before he began enjoying his meal. "I'll do anything for you Cyn, you're my only friend, and I don't make friends often..."

Jett stared at the guy... wanting to go over and pound on him just for upsetting Cyn.

Cyn moved her hand away before he could touch it, but she smiled a little. "It's okay...I'm supposed to tell the manager if he bothers me. Most of the time all our customers are really nice and kind...but apparently I have a stalker." She spoke quietly, words just for his ears. "He's come every day until he figured out my work shift. Now he only comes when I'm on duty, and he always tries to get me as his waitress. He asks the other girls about me, too. My manager's being careful. If he approaches me at all, I'm supposed to tell her right away." She sighed a little and started eating her meal. "It's okay, though. He just looks. All the girls are being really helpful and keeping him as far away from me as possible."

"That's not okay..." Jett stood up and walked calmly over to the man.

"Sir can I please see you outside?" he said very calmly and politely.

The man virtually ignored him and continued to stair at Cyn. This perturbed Jett quite a bit, but he wasn't going to embaress Cyn at her place of work... "Please sir, I am asking you nicely to come have a conversation with me..." The man finally looked at Jett and said... "No... Go... Away..." Jett was not willing to do so, so he took out about six hundred dollars and set it on the bar counter, he then picked the man up and walked outside with him in his clutches...

Jett opened the door and walked outside with the man in one hand... He set the man down calmly and the man began to hit Jett in the face and stomach... unfortunately for this man, Jett had been hit a few times... Jett then told the man very carefully, "Sir if you continue to hit me and bother my friend... I will have to retaliate... and so far you haven't even hurt me...

"I just want her!" The man would scream, "I want her I wanna make babies I wanna smell her, I wanna be inside--" Jett put his hand on the man's shoulder and knocked him unconscious. Jett then carried the man to the opposite corner and proceeded to wake him up.

Cynthia blinked as Jett stood up and went over. "H-hey, Jett wait! Stop..!" But he just went on over. She sighed a little bit and watched carefully, standing up as well. The money that was put on the counter was quickly taken by her, and she grumbled about him being a money-wasting idiot. She looked at him as he fully took the man and went outside. "Um, Cyn, your boyfriend is about to kick your stalker to the curb." one of the waitresses said. Cyn blushed. "He's not my boyfriend. But you're right, I need to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid."

She opened the door just in time to hear the man screaming. Her face paled, if it was possible for her ashen skintone to even do so. She swallowed nervous and gripped the door, then took in a deep breath and let it out. She walked over to the corner where Jett was with the as-of-yet unconscious man. "Jett, stop. Just leave him go, or take him to the police if you want, okay?" She didn't want a fight started.

"I'm not going to fight the man Cyn." Jett said calmly to her, "I was going to take him to the police, I just wanted to give him the option of opting out of his current behavior, I didn't punch him, I just lightly pressed a pressure point that actually makes you overdose in dopamine." Jett picked the man up, cuffed him and began walking him to the police station. "Cyn the money was in case he did any damage, he didn't so you can take it as you tip, though if you could box the food for me I would deeply appreciate it. I'll be back when I make sure he is taken care of... don't worry I mean by the authorities, I would never do anything stupid..." Jett was sincere and was being very calm about the situation. He walked down the road and rounded the corner where he knew where the police station was. He walked into the headquarters with the man dragging his feet, but walking behind him.

"I have a criminal for you. He appears to have been drunk in public and harrassing a waitress down at the cafe. I would appreciate it if you'd take him from my custody and charge him with his crimes." Jett flashed his military badge that gave him rule to charge criminals and arrest them. He would stand there until they put him in a cell. "If you could make sure he is shipped far from here it would be a personal favor for me, I'll make sure that I help you guys out around here for free... sound good?"

The Sargent at the counter agreed to the terms and started the transportation papers to Veta-Max a max prison in the colder part of the world, he may only be there for a couple months, but that might be enough to shake him of his ways Jett thought.

"Thank you for your time, this town appreciates what you do."

Jett would begin the walk back to the diner and look for Cyn to be working or still standing outside. He felt bad for causing a scene, but he did do his best not to cause it.

Cynthia just listened, then went back inside. The whole cafe was abuzz with what happened, and she dodged as many questions as she could. Her manager even said she should take the day off, but Cyn insisted she stayed.

When Jett came back in, the whole cafe went quiet. Everyone was watching with interest. Cyn walked over to him and handed him a box. "There's your food." She handed him the money. "And here's your money. I subtracted the fee from it. I'll...text you later. Okay?"

"I'm sorry." Jett said as he felt like she was upset. "The money was for his business, he's not coming back." Jett was sure this would upset Cyn.

Jett took the money, walked over to where he was sitting, no one was sitting there, "here's your tip." He would still smile and grab his pack and leave with his food. He was sure Cyn would try to give the money back, but he would refuse. "I'll talk to you later, if you want to come see me, I bought the old church on Cherry Road." Jett left the building and walked back the church to finishing up the cleaning and renovation process.

Cyn sighed a little bit and said nothing more. She gave a little nod when he spoke of talking later, and then just let him leave. She pocketed the money, and then just went on working until her shift was over and it was time to go home.

Cyn got dressed in her casual outfit and walked along the street. She knew what church he was talking about, so that was where she headed. She reached the church and walked up, knocking on the door. She sighed. This was going to be difficult to handle.

"One second!!!" Jett said as he was finishing up moving around the furniture and cleaning. The church wasn't done, but it looked significantly better than before. Jett ran up and opened the door, "Hey come on in." Jett was glad to see her, but he was pretty sure she was going to let him have it. "How was the rest of your shift?"
