Cynthia crossed her arms over her chest. "I don't suppose you have a first-aid kit, do you?" She sighed a little bit and knelt down in front of him. "Let me see your foot, Jett." She was completely ignoring the tour until she was able to take care of his injury.

Jett put his foot up, the it was pretty bad, he handed her his first aid kit. "If you have to, I just have to warn you it's pretty bad." Jett was in pain and could barely stand it, he'd been walking on it and ignoring it for so long he hadn't really thought about it. "I'm fine though, it was just a 2x4 that got me."

Cynthia rolled her eyes. She unwrapped his bandaging, wincing as she saw the injury. "You didn't go to the doctor for this??" She looked up at him. "Jett, you're going to need stitches. I'll call a cab. You just sit right here and if you put that foot down at all I swear I will walk out that door and not come back." She was being completely, utterly serious.

She cleaned the wound and wrapped it with fresh bandages, then had him prop it up on a pillow. Then she called for a cab to take them to the doctor so he could get it stitched up.

"No, look I have a stitch kit, let me fix it." he left his foot up sensing her seriousness. "I want to ask you nicely not to call a cab, please, or at least cancel it please." Jett didn't want to go to the doctor, he had a fear of labs and doctors from his past. "Please?"

Cynthia shook her head. She reached over and put her hand on his shoulder. "Jett. Trust me. Okay?" She smiled gently. "It won't take long, and I'll be right there. Just let the doctor fix you up. It'll be so much better. And the sooner you're fixed, the sooner you can take me on a tour of your house, right?"

"Okay, but you gotta kiss it and make it better after the doctor." Jett said sarcastically in order to make himself feel a little better. Jett was in pain, but didn't want the doctor, but he listened to Cyn to get in the cab as he was supposed to. They would go to the doctor.

Cynthia chuckled a little bit. "I don't think so, Jett." She smiled though, and once the cab arrived she would help him get in, then sit there with him and have them taken to the doctor's. She would help him inside, go up and talk to the receptionist, and soon they would be brought into the room.

The doctor would take a look at his foot, sterilize, and sew it up. They would leave and get Jett's prescription of painkillers and anti-biotics. "Man I hate this stuff."

They would return home just in time to catch the Chinese food. "Good, food, here's the money." He'd pay for and carry the food in. "Cyn it's time for food!"

Cynthia stayed by his side the whole time, and once they got home and got the food, she went inside with him. "See? That wasn't so bad, now was it? You're all better. So just make sure you take your medicine and don't walk on your foot much." She made him prop his foot up again, then sat down with him to eat.

They sat down together, and Jett put on a movie. "Come over here", he would hold out his arm for her. "I need you to take care of me after all." He would wink. He wanted to cuddle a little with her, it made him feel better. "This movie okay?" Jett put in some random Romantic Comedy that had come out he found while at the store. "I heard it's pretty funny."

Cynthia chuckled a little and would move over to him, smiling. She got her bit of food and would start eating it, looking at the movie. "Yeah, it's fine. It looks good." She smiled at him and would lean against him a little, munching at her food and watching the TV with him.

"I haven't watched a movie in a while" ,Jett was happy warm and his pain pills were kicking in... "I still owe you a tour of the house, don't let me forget okay?" Jett was watching the movie and was obviously feeling the effects of the pills. "Do you work tomorrow?"

Cynthia smiled at him. "I won't let you forget, Jett, I promise." She finished her food and shook her head a little at his question. "Nope. I have an article to write, but it doesn't take long and it's not due until the weekend."

"Why don't you stay here tonight then? It's kinda hard to walk you home." Jett thought about what he said... hesitated and then kept his mouth shut, she knew what he meant, he didn't mean he wanted to sleep with her necessarily. "I've got all the stuff for you to sleep here if you like?"

Cynthia smiled at him. "You don't have to walk me home, Jett. But sure, I'll spend the night. Let me go pack an overnight bag. I think it'd be good for you to have someone around to help you out so you don't use your foot too much." She didn't want his stitches opening up.

"Okay, I'll let you got get that, THIS TIME." He said in a funny sarcastic tone. "I'll go get the bed ready." Jett started to stand up.

Cynthia put a hand on his shoulder. "Hey! The whole purpose of this is to keep you from walking, sillyhead!" She stuck her tongue out at him. "Stay here. Don't get up, just relax and eat your food and watch TV. I'll be back soon, alright? STAY HERE." She hurried off to go pack her bag. She'd be back soon, of course.

"Okay" Jett felt quite helpless and wasn't fond of it... Jett sat there and thought about the situation he was in, someone wanted to help him, for no reason other than to help him... this had never happened before... not even once... he had to adjust. "Man, I am lucky to have you here."As she walked in carrying her pack.

Cynthia giggled a bit and smiled. "Thanks." She set her bag down and sat down beside him. "Alright, I'm spending the night. So what do you want to do now? Or do you think we should head to bed now?"

"I'm good for a little bit, let's stay up, wanna watch some TV? What would you like to do?" Jett was willing to do anything he just enjoyed the time with Cyn. "I want you to pick something to do... make sure it doesn't involve a lot of running and or jumping, and I should be good... so maybe not a triathlon?" he said with a laugh.
