"I see and I completely agree with you about the past" Arthur says in agreement. Soon the elevator arrives to there destination, a wide observation deck or actually a entire level dedicated to observation. One could see the gas giant they obit and even the large defensive ring that goes around the planet filled to the brim with defenses, ready to take on any fleet it may encounter. Arthur first steps out and thought about Nirix's answer. "I do agree with Nirix that the past is basically your identity and it should be preserved it what makes you and your people, you. Ones who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it" he says as he walks out but still continues his speech "In my personal opinion Nirix looking into the past is an excellent way in helping to find answers you need but the past does not have the answers, the future has the answers you need. I suggest you want to incorporate your lessons of the past and the present to help you in your future maybe combine old techniques with new techniques to become a much deadlier assassin. Of course you don't have to listen to me but I do know what i speak though even though to you i maybe just a tool but I believe I am a real person even though I am not" he continues to talk as he looks at the observational deck and as he looks at the deck he says "Isn't this such a beautiful view"
As the old Frost Queen went up the stairs which seems to go on forever, she heard voices. It took her a moment for her to tell it were soldier voices. "Why are there soldiers here?" she asks herself quietly as she slowly made her way up the stairs, cautious on who the intruders are. She stops mid flight and thought about her decisions. It only took her a few minutes to make up her mind and so she yells out "HEY! WHOS UP THERE?! AS YOUR QUEEN I DEMAND AN ANSWER!" hoping there response isn't one that is hostile.
Harlan stops and listens, hearing the voice of some person echoing through the hangar. He quickly reaches down and spins the volume on his walkie talkie to zero and holds a finger up to his lips to signal the other two to stay quiet. He raises his rifle and begins walking towards the source of the voice, motioning for the other two to follow him and watch his back.
She slowly walks up the steps cautious about the soldiers, her hand ready to cast an icy projectile at them if things go for the worst. "WHOS UP THERE?!" She yells out as she goes up one step at a time trying to make her boots sound somewhat quiet. She began to sweat in anticipation and in worry, sensing that she will get fired at and Cathrione knew she wasn't in the mood to get shot at.
Maria's intercoms had been hacked into and now a low husky voice began playing through it. "Welcome to my territory" and soon after Maria's warp had stopped working and she was forced out of into the sight of a large 400 meter long ship that gave off the scent of a bounty hunter and soon a hologram of a fully armored man with a helmet on came into view. "You will brought onboard and your ship will become part of my fleet, to be fitted with the latest weaponry and so on so forth. Oh, and you will be guided by my gunships, the Warhawks." After the hologram cut out 4 Warhawk gunships flew out of the hangar of the ship and surrounded Maria's ship with weapons pointed if Maria didn't start moving into the ships hangar.
Onboard Maria would be greeted by the bounty hunter himself Walther Rimmer or more commonly known among his men Spartan.
Onboard Maria would be greeted by the bounty hunter himself Walther Rimmer or more commonly known among his men Spartan.
"Son of ****, this is not want what I wanted now!" she yelled in her little ship. Her corvette is capable at least dodging shots from the much larger ship but it's a death sentence since she's outgun and surrounded, a situation she hates being in. "Outfitting my ass, this thing already has the most advance tech on here" she says as she begins to chuckle "and your gonna experience first hand" as she slowly pushes the throttle abd head towards the larger ship, to meet the mysterious stranger. As she lands the ship, she punches in a sequence for ship to do when she's gone and not only putting in a mysterious sequence but also using her fathers sercutity system to lock the systems from anyone using the ship besides herself. As she got ready to exit, a few things went through her mind like "who is this guy?" And "He can't be here just for the ship, there must be more to?" With all these thoughts going through her head she gets ready to disembark. As she walks down the exit ramp underneath the ship, she carries just her laser revolver in hand underneath her coat and has her head titled down just enough for her to see who's in front and to allow her hat to cover her face to some degree.
Walther nodded his head "My name is Walther James Rimmer better known as Spartan among my men." He nodded his head and two troopers went into the ship to scan it and investigate it for possible dangers. Walther continued to speak "I do not think of you as a prisoner, I think of you as a guest on my ship. And if you think we're mere pirates don't laugh. My men follow me with respect, so they don't answer to bribes or anything of the sort" he stated in a disgusted tone. The thought of bribery simply made Walther want to throw up. "While you're on my ship you have access to basic needs food, water, recreation, and bathrooms" he then pointed to the small corvette like ship. "I had seen a bounty on the ship, but not on it's pilot which is strange, however following standard procedure I offer you one of the dropships and safe departure at one of the closest planets although..." He thought for a moment and something unusual came over him "I have to ask, what are you doing all the way out here? I was told you were in the New Sol sector"
"Sorry to upset you but your not taking my ship on the basis of obvious mistaken identity" she replies with a spit of venom in her tone. "If you know who I am, you must clearly know this is my ship" she added with the same time as she raises her head to look at him and for him to look at her face. Maria is mad by the fact that this petty captain has decided to take her ship because it's wanted? She knows there's is no way in giving up her ship espically to destination she's going. "Sorry, Athenian but I need my ship since I'm heading to a godforsaken moon for a friend in need in which what I am looking for May or may not be there. Plus the last time I checked this part of space is still considered a Dendril hotspot" she says as she looks at him with keen eyes seeing how he would respond to her espically with her little nickname that she gave him.
"A moon? What would you be looking for on a moon? There's never any reason to be interested in a space rock unless an objective behind it" he crossed his arms and whistled. Soon there was an anchor wrapped around Maria's ship and the troopers inside had come out with an all clear. "Since your ship isn't going anywhere any time soon perhaps now we have a moment to talk. Follow me please." He said as a squad of 6 other men followed behind Maria. Walther walked in large slow steps, confidence and pride with each step but also a scent of politeness every man he walked past he gave them a pat on the shoulder, he also walked with one hand glued to his right thigh as if something he treasured was stowed away in his pocket. Coming to a guarded door he nodded and the troopers in front of the door stepped to the side and allowed Walther and Maria to step in. The other 6 troopers following stayed outside. In the room was a large holo table that had a huge map of the star system and the current location. "Welcome to the war room" Walther stated as he gestured Maria to sit down "Now. Exactly what moon do you plan to go to?"
Maria understood that this man is definitely a soldier and not a scholar as she saw he didn't react to her little insulting name she gave him. As they walked to the war room, she ogt a little nervous having six armed men behind her. "How important was he?" she questions herself as they walked. Once inside she decided to stay standing since she, one this is some random man that kicked her out of warp and two, her father sometimes rigged the chairs so they fall back and lead the victim god knows were, which gave a slight paranoia that this man did the same thing. Either way she response "Its called the Angel Moon, a junkyard moon in the heart of a Dendril influence area" as she typed in the coordinates of the moon and seeing it appear upon the table. This is obviously not her first time being in a so called war room. "A dead moon, with its potential inhabitants being so said alien species, from my lasts scan s of it, the atmosphere is quite lethal to breathe unless you have a breathing device" she said as if she was giving a mission debrief. "So now that you know where I am going can I please have my ship and go there?" she asks as her voice hints at her impatiences as she tightens her grip on her hidden gun.
"What do you want with a junkyard moon? And why the hell is it called the Angel Moon anyways?" He asked with a hint of suspicion "This isn't any angel moon, around here we call it the Graveyard of Souls. too many ships and lives lost around it, anything getting near it gets interdicted and shut down leaving it to crash onto the surface, hence being a giant scrapyard for dead ships and personnel" Walther shook his head in rejection "I can't allow you to go, not unless you have a way to shut down whatever is bringing all those ships down onto it's surface." He seemed super concerned about this matter and there was no changing his mind about what he was doing. "I only agree to give you your ship if you find a way to deactivate that... gravity well or whatever it is that has turned that rock into a graveyard. and..." A catch to everything as always "You have to let me and my men come with you to figure this out." He stood there waiting for an answer with little patience.
"I have no idea, its what my friend has been calling it" she replies looking at him. Maria slightly may have an idea on why that happens. No doubt its Bravo's thing that he mentions that's on the surface. She then raises her gun at him and says "You will let me leave with my ship and I am going to moon, I go by it all the time and never got interdicted from it." She tilts her head side to side thinking about something. "I will say if you don't comply we are all gonna suffer for it in just in about 2 minutes" she added as she looks up in thought still with the gun pointed at him. "Plus from I am able to go past it and so can those alien cruisers that orbit the moon as well, I am pretty certain I can land on it safely" she added now looking at him.
Walther gave a whistle into his com and the 6 men standing outside came in with their guns pointed at Maria "There's only one way you're walking out of here with your ship. And that's if you let me go with to figure out what the hell is going on with that moon." The laser pointers on the troopers rifles were all lit and their fingers were on the triggers as Walther sat there patiently waiting as he stood up straight and crossed his arms. He didn't seem phased by the sight of a revolver in his face, he seemed to be pretty used to it actually it was probably the normal thing for him at this point. "Now you can either shoot me and almost instantly get shot by 5 or 6 other rifles standing behind you or we cooperate and you take me down to the moon so I can take down the gravity well while you do your thing in the junkyard. Your choice" he stated in a near aggravated voice. With little patience he was about to lock the door as he walked out and go to the moon himself with the small ship that had recently been acquired.
She holstered her weapon back into her leg and said "I guess you ain't such a man using 6 guys to one girl, I like kinky but not with a group" she starts to look at the rifle barrels behind her. "Gonna shoot a now shoot an unarmed women who is the only one who can operate my small vessel" she says hinting at that he won't be able to pilot it if that's what he was thinking. "Plus I don't think any of us are gonna get out of this ship" she says with a happy tone in her voice being very nonchantlent even though being endangered.
The 6 men holstered their rifles and Walther stepped out of the door "Return to your posts, I'll contact everyone with the situation" and with that said the soldiers all said "Yes sir!" and began marching in different directions. Walther spun around to look at Maria "I am doing this so no one else gets harmed by that moon, you're the guide that gets me there." He seemed pretty set on the matter "Follow me if you want otherwise the cantina is down the hall to the left 1st double door you see" he then began walking off towards the bridge to get the word over the intercom. He would reach the bridge via an elevator located at the far end of the hallway. The ship itself looked rather nice and clean, crewmen walking back and forth carrying supplies and other things, engineering droids checking maintenance on all the machinery, this ship was in top order by what seemed like every second of every day and it never skipped a beat. When Walther reached his elevator he pushed the button and waited patiently for the elevator door to open.
"Hmmm with our most recent debochol, I suspect we are gonna drift into space for a few hours after..." She says as she walks towards the entry way into the war room and counted down 3,2,1 with her fingers. Once she hit one, her engine cores on her ship finally overheated and released its excess energy in the form of an large EMP, hopefully disabling the ship from the inside out in which Maria was betting on.
When the EMP went off the ship flickered for a few seconds but then everything stabilized. Little did Maria know the ship was completely powered by a large Kinetic Energy generator which kept spinning in one direction only to slow down and spin in the opposite direction a few seconds after because of a giant spring set inside the rotor that made it rotate back and forth constantly and this process repeated as it charged up the battery to power the entire ship. Essentially the ship was a giant wind up toy, but a deadly wind up toy. Walther stepped back from the elevator and rushed his way back to the war room, to be greeted by a wall of 4 troopers standing in the hall on the left and right side of the war rooms doors. "I assume this would be your doing right?" he asked as he motioned the troopers to stand down.
She puts her hands behind her back and starts rocking back and forth on her metal heels and looking up. "Maybe" she says trying to be cute even though her appearance may not be. Maria understood her improvised plan was basically shot out of the sky and now she now understands she's gonna have to help the mask man.
"We'll be departing here shortly" Walther stated as he began to walk past Maria once he was halfway down the hall to the hangar he turned his head to the side so he could peak over at Maria before shrugging his thoughts out of mind. He stood in the hangar in front of the anchored ship. the trouble you tried to cause, nothing will stop me from getting to that moon on occasions Walther simply thought about dropping to the moon but ships couldn't get into orbit without being interrupted by whatever was effecting the ships so there was a large area of effect that the gravity well had as far as Walther knew so dropping to the moon was more dangerous for the fact that the distance was too great for anyone to survive the drop even in a pod. Walther raised his wrist to his helmet and spoke into it "Ahead full, we're going to the graveyard" and suddenly the ship began moving the sound of the engines firing could be heard from the hangar bay and the sudden force of the ship moving took a second for everyone to adjust.
(Finally figured out my intro guys yay !!!!)"I hate this!" Recited Neylan several times as she tried desperatly to escape the clutches of the imperial forces once again .She can't believe she let Nako convince her to steal an imperial fuel shipment though she often knew why "that boy is too much like me...too damn convincing " she mutters as she hits the hyperdrive sending their ship into deep space. She then leaned back and let out a groan "that is the last time I let you convince me to steal imperial fuel we could've died!" Her ten year old adoptive son Nako sighs and replies " lighten up mom we got away right?" He then pulls out several cans of food and they begin eating until Neylan stops eating and licks her thumb " hold on kid you got something on your cheek " she then attempts to use her thumb to wipe it off as Nako groans out a " mom I'm not a baby !" To which she replies " yes but your my baby boy and you always will be " Nako soon finishes his meal and is sent off to bed with a quick hug from his mother. As he leaves for bed Neylan returns to piloting her ship as she hums a small tune in her head, she had been with that boy since she was eleven and honestly she wouldn't trade those years for anything
