Laurent sighed and said "No you fool, we are already landed within the Kremlin Mall, we just exit the ship, cross the receiving bay and enter the shopping area and go crazy" he looks at him after rolling his eyes. He walks towards him and with an smirk and says "Do you really need to look like you are dressed to kill? We are hear to make you FABULOUS and fashionable, not a cold hearted killer in which you are not" as he looks at him and walks towards the door of the room and waits for him to follow.
"Don't worry about money right now since I got this" as he gives him a friendly wink knowing full well that Rin will pay him back by being the Ovan Empire's favorite pin up boy. Even perfectly if he pics the Ovan colors of purple and black. Laurent held a camera and says "Plus I'm going to need to take pictures of you in fashionable clothes anyway and make memories" he adds with a friendly smile towards him

Rin frowned, looking embarrassed. "I don't have anything else to wear that would fit me..." he mumbled, but reluctantly took his armor off. He paused, considering. Maybe... "Do you have a jacket I can borrow?" he asked, quickly slipping a hand under the pillow on the bed and taking out his backup dagger. "Just to go over my bodysuit." He ignored the comment on fashionable clothes- he was going to get clothes he could actually wear comfortably and move around in, thank you very much.
Laurent walked over to his dresser and began to search for something else that Rin can wear over his bodysuit. Afte a minute or two, he pulls out a worn black leather jacket and tosses it to her and says "Well thats all I got. It was really not my style so I never wore it again even back in my greaser days" as he takes off his hat and runs his hand through his hair as if he was applying gel to his hair, his ears holding back as he goes over them.
"Come on then, we got a lot of stores to go too" he says as he waves at him to follow as he begins to make his way out of the ship. Once they were out of the ship, they would cross the bay area and make their way towards shopping mall. "Prepare to be astonished" he says dramatically as the doors open and present the shopping area. There was at least 10 floors worth of stores and lots of people, but because the shopping area was large, it almost seemed as if there wasn't a lot of people because of how everyone is spread out around. The style was that similar of the style of the Budapestmall. The mall was very stylish and very modern. The stores varied from punkish clothes of young and hip people all the way towards the formal wear of the rich and powerful as well as other stores that sell other many other things than clothes. "Well lets get cracking" he says enthusastically as he takes the lead and looks around, waiting to see if any of the stores catches Rin's fancy.

Rin stared wide-eyed at all the stores, in awe and intimidated. He turned his head a little, catching a glimpse of shining purple-
He froze.
The pair of purple crystals- Amethyst? That was what mother called them- sparkled teasingly under the light, dangling in full view for all the customers to see. He moved closer, closer, closer still- until he was right in front it.
He didn't even notice.
Commander Wyr brushed a stray hair strand out of his eye, smiling proudly as she did so. "You look beautiful."
He felt his lips tilt down into a pout, cheeks burning as hot as the suns of his home planet in embarrassment. "Sir!"
He wasn't whining.
"Come now, it's not everyday our mission thanks us with a celebration," she coaxed, a reassuring hand rubbing his bare shoulder. "And besides- you should show off your earrings every once in a while. Getting your ears pierced usually means that we as your team gets to see them, and NOT only you in the privacy of your bedroom," she teased.
He shrugged, praying that the red of his cheeks would die down soon. He knew that he would wear his earrings on missions sooner or later, with the way he was starting to feel comfortable around them, but-
Not this soon- and certainly not with THESE certain earrings.
It was the first pair that really caught his eye- the ones that made him have his ears pierced in the first place. At first, it was just distant admiration- of people wearing beautiful gems and metals around the ears- or where the ears would be, in some species. He remembered touching his own ears back in the desert planet he called home, wishing he had the money to either have them pierced, or at least buy the pretty dangling jewelry. It was not until he saw the beautiful pair of jewelry in one of their first missions together as a team that he realized-
He had the money now. He could WEAR THAT.
The earrings were perfect.
And they now hung delicately from HIS ears, out in public, for all the world to see. Somehow, it was THAT thought that made him feel so flustered- not his hair, back it a perfect french braid, fastened in silver with a purple clasp- or his bangs, curled in one side, purple forehead gem in plain view- not even his clothes, purple with gold hems and designs: a short elbow-length jacket and sash with stringed beads in the side, long black fingerless gloves and dark mesh shirt with glittering purple gems in a flowing pattern, long pants and black slip-on shoes.
It was the thought of sharing something that was HIS, to the world... And to his friends.
A small part of him recoiled from that, warning him about how he would just get hurt... But he looked into the Commander's eyes, and saw only open fondness and affection there.
He tentatively smiled back.
"I- I think I'm ready," he said, shyly. A pause. "Would Vaxur-"
"He would be jealous," she said, a small smirk now gracing her own wonderful features. "He would cry out in shame and jealousy, calling for the men and maidens to comfort his own handsome self." She held out her arm.
He giggled, shaking his head a little as he took it. "Sounds about right."
He blinked, huffing softly. He really missed home.
He sighed. He... He shouldn't get it, anyway. He had no money. He was just here for clothes.
His small reminescing smile slowly slipped into a resigned, longing expression.
He didn't even notice.
He froze.

Laurent saw his reflection as he saw the earrings. He enjoyed what he was looking at and then seeing his smile fade, Laurent knew he had to take a little charge. He slowly approached Rin and gripped his shoulders and says "You do know you can get whatever you want, I have you covered" he bends down to his level and by his head, as if acting as a second on Rin, before straightening up and looking down at him and giving him a reassuring smile. "From my recent business, we got the cash to cover the cost as well as I can cover it as well" he adds and basically giving him the okay to go crazy on shopping whatever he wants really.
Rin jolted, looking up at Montagne with a surprised look on his face. He didn't even notice- he ducked his head, clutching the sleeve of the borrowed jacket he was wearing. "Uh-um..." He bit his lip hesitantly, then jerked his head a bit towards the earrings in front of them. "C-can I... Uh... Have that..?" he stammered, blushing in embarrassment. "Reminds me of... Of home."
D A E D A L U S – Nasser Station
Had he done it again? Ketin did not really have any means of knowing, besides snooping - and he certainly wasn't about to go doing that. He had promised. Besides, he hated snooping anyway. And it was most likely just his own paranoia - certainly it wouldn't be the first time he had let his own insecurities lead him into the trap of thinking he might have accidentally snatched words from someone's memory. Though even after all these years it persisted as a recurring, even constant issue.
It was the twinge of recognition that had tipped him off, however - that could not be denied. Keikol. The name stuck out in his mind like a sore thumb. He recognized himself, through someone else's eyes, and as someone completely different than who he really was. Not as disorienting as it might have sounded - but outstanding enough to be noted whether he liked it or not.
So. He reminded Nirix of this 'Keikol' person. Ketin never liked it when he found himself familiar in the eyes of another. He had a way of ruining memories that way - tainting peoples' most cherished recollections of those who were so unfortunate as to resemble him in any way. Maybe it would be better to snoop just a little? To find out more about this 'Keikol' guy and act just different enough so as to sever the connection?
No. No snooping. No manipulating. If he resembled this other guy, that wasn't his fault, and it wasn't his place to go screwing with his friend's perception of him even if he felt like playing God for what he thought to be 'her own good'.
And then she embraced him, and nearly everything was swept from his mind. Nirix was not good with words - but Ketin had never needed the words of others nearly so much as he needed this. Such a show of affection was worth a million words. That simple gesture spoke all that she might have possibly hoped to convey, He reciprocated the gesture vigorously, returning the hug, squeezing tightly for many long moments, nuzzling just a little into the enthusiastic embrace as they stood there together amidst the gradually returning life of Nasser Station.
When at long last they disconnected - or, rather, when at long last he released her from his fervent vice grip - the regret and pain were gone from his eyes. There was a low, but very real smile there now. It had been a rejuvenating gesture on all accounts. She might have taken every ounce of sadness and pain from his shoulders unto herself, hefted it for him and bore the burden in his stead - yet the way he looked up at her in the moment after finally letting up made it clear that, in that simple act, the burden had not merely been transferred - it had been dissipated. For one could not take pain away as though it were some physical object to be slung over the back. It could not be traded like some bulk commodity. It could, however, be shared - stretched between two people for the course of a single, heartfelt embrace, pulled to the fibers and weakened so that the whole structure collapsed in upon itself, making it no more. The burden was shared, pulled taut between them, and allowed to dissolve into nothingness - at least, for the time being. That was the power of a single, warm embrace, where mere words could hardly compare.
Remarkable, in some ways, how rarely it was Ketin on the receiving end of such reassuring affection. All too often had he embraced a stranger in the midst of tormenting dreams to allow them an easy awakening with a new and permanent bond established from that unique closeness, even out of so abrupt an instant. But hardly so often was it another who took Ketin unto themselves to return the favor he had passed down to so many before.
Then again - no small act of kindness as such could possibly justify any meager sum of mercy to someone like him.
Yet this was not on his mind at present - for now he could think only of the trip they now embarked upon. He smiled up at her, and they made for the ticket booth which was, of course, automated. However, they managed to skip the gradually coagulating line entirely by simply bypassing the automated kiosk and doing straight to the grim, crow-faced man who operated the manned ticket booth. Most stations had these in case someone was too inept to use the simple touch-screen interface - but, in general, if one did not mind talking to another person for a minute, it could prove much quicker and easier.
They ran into no trouble booking the 'flight'. The ship was called 'Perrygold' - exactly the kind of pleasant, if meaningless name that most such passenger liners took in order to sound appealing and unassuming. It was an average vessel on all accounts - spacetravel was, in the modern era, a streamlined and efficient process, and this simple ship was right amidst the traffic. Unlike some, there was no first, second class or coach - simply one, and two person cabins. The ship layout was simple - upon entry, there was a single, long chamber with various means of seating, some televisions, and a small restaurant-bar toward the back. Along either wall were rows of doors, each numbered respectively. This central bay was the common room, where people could spend their time outside their cabins if they so chose. Not unlike a waiting room. Food and drink would cost extra, though each cabin came supplied with a three-day supply of simple, but palatable pre-cooked meals in self-heating containers. For those disembarking at Menard's Grove, it would be a three-day voyage.
The Perrygold was to embark within thirty minutes, so most of the passengers were aboard. An average, well-mannered group of people, most of whom were generally as uninterested in each other as they were themselves uninteresting. A few security people milled about with them, identifiable only by the small sidearms holstered at their belts. It was, overall, a pleasant, non-threatening environment.
Indeed, though he had no way of knowing, it seemed that Kete and Nirix had earned themselves a similar respite to that which two of his previous attackers were now experiencing - worlds and lifetimes away, it seemed.
Ketin did not plan on going right to the cabin, however. They did find it easily enough - cabin 76 - but instead of entering, he glanced at Nirix with a grin, and nodded toward one of the seats in the common room. He looked mischievous.
Luckily the mischief he planned on causing was harmless enough. He sat in one of the seats against the wall near their cabin, reclining, and just looking about at the others. The televisions, placed here and there about the place, all showed different programs - some local news of the trouble planetside, others displaying soaps or reality or any given variety of entertainment. The volume was very low on all, so that none interfered with the rest.
There was a chime, and a soft voice announced that the ship was departing. A gentle lurch - and, promptly, a
People looked about at each other in confusion. It was inexplicable and just plain peculiar. Right away, some of the ship staff began to appear and try to manually change the channels via buttons on the screens. Each time however, the channel would immediately flip back to the strange song, with the bizarrely accented people with bad hair.
The song only replayed once it reached the end, and it wasn't long before the staff began to get aggravated. Reactions from other passengers were mixed - mild annoyance, befuddlement, or even amusement similar to that which Kete had upon his own face.
By the third replay, staff were simply trying to turn the screens off - and each time, they turned right back on, back to the same thing. Someone went off to fetch a technician - but there was nothing she could do about it either - this irritated the woman, who cursed lowly and mused at just unplugging them all.
One poor staff member found themselves pacing back and forth between three different screens, turning one off only to have the last one turn back on again at the same time. Another technician was disassembling one screen from behind to attempt a diagnosis, yet still the screen acted on its' own will, refusing to turn off until the power was cut to that particular monitor.
The more flustered people got, the more giggly Ketin became - eventually splaying his arms out and singing silently along to "World's greatest washed-up superstar~!"
To this, one of the more irritable technicians stomped over to him, demanding "Do you have something to do with this?" Only to receive a perfectly innocent shake of the head and cowed smile from the Fox. Only superficially convinced, the tech was forced to return to their work, trying in vain to get the monitors to play anything other than the ridiculous song.
By the seventh replay, people were starting to go slightly mad - until, at last, all of the monitors' power was cut simultaneously and there was a soft-spoken announcement "We're sorry, but due to a system malfunction, the screens will be down until further notice."
Nobody seemed particularly upset though - and after a few more minutes of the silence, something incredible happened when people who had only moments before been ignoring each other almost entirely began talking amongst themselves. Before long, real conversations were cropping up all over the common area.
Satisfied that his work was done, Ketin stretched, then stood and proceeded into their cabin.
It was small, almost cramped, but not too bad. There was a single set of bunk beds, a small refrigerated cabinet where the complimentary food and drink was stored. There was a fold-out console in the wall next to each cot where one could produce a small table, and even a tablet-sized touch-screen holo-interface which would allow access to the Aethernet and an on-board library of Space-Knew-how-many different pieces of reading material.
Suddenly realizing how exhausted he was, Ketin didn't hesitate to climb on up to the top bunk where, upon settling down, he slipped off shoes and socks, placing them neatly at the foot of his bed. He was small enough that everything he owned could be easily stored up there with him and he'd still have plenty of space to stretch out. The coat was shrugged off and folded loosely, tossed atop the shoes. He reclined on the mattress - it was perfectly comfortable - and, having never ceased his little smile, looked up at the ceiling.
"Well. I can't imagine we'll be able to run into too much trouble here." he said, idly - and dearly hoped for once that it was true. He'd had his fill of serious trouble. Making mischief in the common room was one thing - as long as nobody tried to kill them for a few days, Kete would be happy.
He took the opportunity to think about Blue for a moment. He'd already realized that he could not communicate directly with that new part of himself - because she was, in fact, a part of himself. He'd witnessed a taste of her memory, of her identity - of the foreign sensation that was now his own as much as hers. He took a moment to reflect on her presence there in his mind, occupying whichever parts he was not consciously occupying himself at any given moment. Yes, that seemed right.
This part of him was another being. He knew that now. A consciousness dwelling within, and sharing his brain. This entity - this Blue - seemed to be some mild comfort to him in some difficult to define way. He was glad for it - glad not only to have saved the frightened little signal from withering death at the hands of...whoever it had been that had tried to wipe it out - but glad to have the company. Nirix below him, and Blue inside him. Surrounded by friends - even if one of those friends was bad with words and the other could only form the most rudimentary thought-patterns in his mind as a form of communication.
Though - there had been something that approached words. hadn't there?
He had already decided to take things slow and careful with 'Blue'. Blue was not CAI - this was something very new to him, and he wanted to take no chances at accidentally purging this part of himself through some stray, unintended miscommunication...or...whatever. None of it really made sense.
Blue had a name though - he was certain of that. She - definitely a she - had tried to communicate that name with him, but he had missed it. Now, he figured, in the peace of this little room - sparsely decorated, but not unpleasant - he might be able to focus on Blue for a moment. He could not 'think to' her - since she was him, and vice-versa. So perhaps if he were to try a different method of communicating? She had made herself visible to him - but he wondered at how easy that was for her to do. He wondered if his own brain activity might make it harder for her to focus, or to do complex things like appear as that ghostly blue hallucination.
So, being sure to dedicate at least some small part of his attention to responding to Nirix should she have anything to say, Ketin decided to focus on Blue. He did not 'ask' for her name - merely tried to 'remember' it. The knowledge was in his head now, he was certain - all he had to do was 'remember his own name'. It didn't seem too difficult.
And it wasn't. The answer came swiftly.
Éva.
Once he knew, it seemed pretty obvious. It was, after all, his name. Their name. Maybe to her, their identities were not so merged - how could he know? He tried to 'remember' that too, but opinions and perceptions as such were not so simple to 'recall'. No matter.
'Éva' was, apparently, from Earth. So, it did exist. Ketin found it interesting, but otherwise inconsequential. He had never, after all, had any vested interested in finding the mythical planet. Like most people. She loved to play the pian0 - that, Kete actually found more interesting. Mostly because some of that love had bled through her little memory window into him - and so, some of the same passion had become his own. He could relate anyway, what with how much he loved to play his own little pocket-banjo.
Éva had been corporeal at one point - an anthropomorph, if the ghost he had seen earlier was any indication - and, introspectively, he decided that it must have been the case. She wouldn't have just chosen an aspect arbitrarily.
Without realizing what he was doing, he impulsively thought to himself "Thanks, Éva - for telling me a little about you. I wish we could talk better."
But, since it had not been intentionally directed at some inner entity - rather, it was merely a musing to himself, talking silently to himself - the Eye did not register it as any feedback loop. It was what it was - just a thought. Realizing this, he opened his mind up to 'new thoughts'. He allowed his 'subconscious' - which, he realized, was now a consciousness in itself - the freedom to present new ideas to him on the form of the kind of thoughts that tended to simply pop up out of ones' inner mind. Maybe, he mused, just maybe - they might be able to figure out a way to communicate. At least a little bit - at least in this moment of peace, where there was only the gentle hum of the starship around them, and perhaps the occasional word from his friend below.
Laurent sighed and said "Yes, buy whatever you want, I'm just here as your really big piggy bank and make memories" as he pulls out his camera and gives out his usual creeper smile. "Buy whatever your little heart desires, as long as we can carry it anyway" he says wanting to make sure that Rin doesn't buy large items in which forces Laurent to get a trolley. Laurent felt a bit of cold go down his spine, which made him turn around and scan the mall with suspicion. He shrugs thinking it was really nothing, but it was definitely a strange feeling that came over him for a moment and then gone really...
Rin looked back at the earrings. Maybe... just this one- He pursed his lips in determination. "Excuse me!" he called out to the owner of the stall. "How much is this?"
As they walked around the space mall they slowly acquired bags to carry- surprisingly light, all things considered.
... Or not. The kind of clothes Rin insisted on buying mostly comprised of loose layers of thin fabric, dull colored, and a simple black belt to hold his backup dagger. Knowing he would need clothes for colder weather as well, he picked a long black coat with a hood- fitting enough to ensure nothing snagged as he moved, but concealing enough that he would most likely not be identified easily. A pair of sturdy boots, hair ties, and other clothing accessories littered the bags they carried.
All in all, Rin considered it a good haul.
"You have anywhere in mind that we'll go next?" he asked, looking up at Montagne with a neutral expression. A certain feeling buzzed under his skin, keeping him alert and on the lookout for anything out of place. "... Can we leave soon?" he muttered, starting to fidget a little bit.

Laurent gave a grin and says "Not yet" as he pulls out a cat ears hair piece and puts it on Rin and goes by him and snaps a picture before Rin could realize once he scrolled through all the pictures "Yup now I'm good and sure we can go...I'm getting the chills" he states as he looks around.
As they began there walk towards the ship in the receiving bay one can hear a man in a deep voice say "HERIFUGA!" And before they could react both were hit by a running shield bash, propelling Laurent to the ground. Quickly getting over what felt like getting hit by a car, he looks over at the man who did and saw he was quite unusual appearance.
The attacker wore an old medieval British style helmet called a kettle and a metal face plate to cover his face as one can see the his breath as he breaths. This man was quiet the beast of a man with bulging muscles on his arms as he wore heavy duty Cyterium armor chest piece covered by a light blue tunic with a diamond shape on the chest while his shoulder pads seem to be made out of some kind of ice. He held a shield close to his body and an energy flail on the other. He wore armored leggings as well a boots.
Laurent shook his head and said "Is that a Frost Conscript?!" Seeming geniuely shocked and surprised by this man's attire and what he possibly stands for.

Rin's eyes widened as the cat ears were placed on his head. He sputtered, cheeks burning red. "M-Montagne!" he hissed, snatching the hair piece out of his head and practically shoving it into a bag.
He was ignored. As usual.
Grumbling under his breath, his head tilted at the mention of Montagne's feeling of wariness. Come to think of it-
"HERIFUGA-"
He crashed to the ground heavily, rolling a little before he dazedly did a backroll and landed in a crouch. He shook his head, forcing his eyesight to clear as he unsheathed his dagger and took a good look at who just attacked them.
He grimaced.
The attacker was large and muscular, so any hit taken from them would be devastating. Though he most probably had the speed and flexibility advantage, the attacker's armor would pose a serious problem- if he couldn't inflict any damage to the warrior, he would inevitably lose.
"Montagne, I'll distract them. Get the things on the ship." His eyes narrowed into slits as he growled lowly. Then he shot forward, dagger in hand and battle instincts keen, ready for whatever the attacker may do.

"Just as I was thinking!" he says as he quickly gets up and begins to dash towards the ship, it would take him a little while but should come back in time. The conscript was winding up his flail to intercept Laurent, but realized about his opponent dashing towards him.
"i alioquin interficiam te!!" he yells out as he goes to bash Rin with his shield in which blocks the incoming attack of the dagger as he swings the flail he was winding up for a powerful attack and strikes from over head down towards Rin with all his might, in tending to smash the little bug of a man who is foolish enough with a puny dagger.

At the last second Rin stepped to the side and jumped, landing briefly on the edge of the warrior's shield and flipping over their head, narrowly missing the flail. Landing behind the giant, he slashed at the exposed side before rolling away, teeth bared- crouching in a ready stance.
"GRRRAAHH!" the conscript yelled as he was stabbed on the side after missing his own attack. He followed Rin as he moved around him and as he stabbed him, he was bit slow to recover from the his swing. Once Rin rolled away, the Conscript covered a lot of ground quickly as he dashed towards Rin to use his entire body to bash into him to knock him down on off his feet again. If he misses he would just begin to wind up the flail once more and try to hit Rin quickly from the side to at least get some damage off. He just stared at Rin as his breathing became more rapid, slowly coming clear that his stamina was getting low.
Rin's eyes widened, rolling abruptly to the side again and twisting as soon as his feet touched ground again, the flail a hair's breath away from him. He's getting tired, he noted grimly, clutching his dagger even harder. He shifted into a fighter's stance- waiting for the attacker's next move.
(Gonna go ahead and jump in~)
Of all the things to begin a trip, a strange music video playing on repeat was certainly not what Wick had expected. It brought him so out of focus from observing the other passengers, in fact, that he couldn't help but begin to laugh. Was this planned by the crew? Some sort of welcome joke? His theory was quickly proven wrong upon seeing technicians desperately attempting to turn everything off to no avail.
So it's someone's practical joke. I gotta hand it to 'em, its pretty funny, he thought with another snicker. Wick watched one technician appraoch a half-breed passenger and attempt to question them, only to walk away less than a moment afterwards. Wick quickly disregarded it as none of his business and returned to his observing. Most, if not everyone, was talking about the video now, some voicing displeasure while others continued to giggle. After some time, Wick found himself becoming less amused and more annoyed by the whole situation. He stood from his chair, breifly looking over towards where he had seen the half-breed. He was absent of course, not that Wick could blame him at this point.
His hearing is probably much better than everyone else's. I would leave too if that were the case.
Wick came to his feet. The noise of it all was giving him a headache, and the funny video had now lost all of its charm. With a yawn, he began to walk towards the room he shared with his sister.
There was the occasional frustrated swearing from cabin 77 as Alice went about finding something to occupy her time, not really caring who heard. She didn't like the confining size of the room, as it wasn't a good environment for work. And considering how thin the walls most likely were, she couldn't take out any tools and work. So instead she sat on the top bunk of the bed attempting to turn on an older wrist communicator she had found. It was a much older model, the kind without the sort of holo-communication some recent ones had. But if she could make it and the other she had amongst her things work again, then getting in touch with Wick while he was out working would prove to be much easier.
"Still, I don't have a way for him to wear this safely. What if he accidently melts it onto his wrist? I'll have to figure something out to get past that, definitely." she thought aloud just before one of the wires in the watch went live and shocked her finger for what could only be the fifteenth time. "@$&#! Knock it off!"

The conscript didn't precede to Rin just yet but as his icey breath would indicate is that he was getting his stamina back and then rushed Rin to break his stance with his shield and bash him in the head with rim of shield to stun him so that he can get a quick hit on Rin with flail. The conscript as he runs and attacks his stance is always that everything is close to the body as possible and able to defend all areas when possible even with a pretty decent size shield.
A motorcycle can be heard in the distance...
A motorcycle can be heard in the distance...
Rin took an instinctive step back, turned on his heel- and ran as fast as he could. He maneuvered left, right, random zig-zags, doing forward rolls and side flips in an attempt to dodge any upcoming attacks with the giant's flail.
$#@&. If he was hit, he was dead.
$#@&. If he was hit, he was dead.
The conscript kept going dead at Rin ignoring his attempts to evade, a for a brute of a man he was quite fast but his slowed him down a bit as he sprints towards Rin. Soon Laurent screams the corner with his motorcycle and as he drives pass Rin he tosses him a duffle bag full of his stuff armor and all and Laurent yells as he pulls out his shove "NOW ITS MY TURN!" As he drives by the Conscript who was still sprinting who didn't have time to react as well bonked on his head which caused the brute to fall flat on his ass as held onto his head in pain.
Laurent grinned and turned the bike around and prepared to hit him once more but with the sharp end. However the conscript was ready as he got up quickly and tucked everything towards the center and as Laurent did his drive by the Conscript bashed Laurent off his bike causing him to skid across the floor in which the Conscript rushed him as the bike crashes into a bunch of boxes.
Laurent immediately gets up and barely blocks the flail attack and since the Conscript used momentum in his attack Laurent thought this was a good idea to attack and so he swung his trench shovel at him and no so surprising from an actual fighter he blocks it and in fustration, Laurent continues to attack him and each blocked by the shield and the last attack, the Conscript parryed Laurent and did a heavy strike upon him, causing the flail to wrap around the merchants neck and the conscript back up against Laurents back and....
*SNAP!!!*
The Conscript arched his back and with the flail chain around Laurents neck, not only closed his throat but also broke his upper spine by cracking a few vertebra...
The conscript releases the chain and Laurent collapses to the ground limp as his hat flutters to the ground and his eyes devolved of life stare back at Rin...

Rin caught the bag and shrugged off his jacket, skidding to a stop as he quickly strapped on his armor. Within a minute or so he activated his hand daggers and skates, helmet lighting up and looking for a target.
SNAP.
He whirled around- and paled drastically as Montagne fell, limp and motionless. He- was he even alive-
$#@&- He growled lowly as he charged at the warrior full speed, ducking and making sharp turns to avoid the flail, aiming for a slash to the back of their legs.
