"It's fine." she says, smiling.

He nods a little. "I'm not going to attack anyone that I know of.. Could you... Would you mind unstrapping me please.."

"I already asked. They said I couldn't." Her face quickly fell.

He struggles slightly, grumbling something to himself. "I hate this.... It happens every damn time. Every time I fight back."

"I'm... I'm really sorry, Frank." she said, using his first name.

"My first name is Franken.." He mumbled. "And I prefer to be called by my last name.." You kinda screwed up on two levels there didn't ya.

Oh, shut up.

"Oh. Ah... Sorry..." She smiled sheepishly.

(Added alliterative appeal.)

"You should really look into your patients before you just dive head first into their minds...."

"So what if I didn't? I knew you needed help, and nobody wanted to. What was I supposed to do?"

"I don't know, read the file while you waited for me?"

"...There was no file." she said, after a moment of thought.

"I can't tell if you're lying to me, or if some idiot didn't file my sessions..."

"I'd say the latter." she mutters.

"What is it with these asinine doctors.." He scowled. "C-Could you please let me out of these straps? It's not very comfortable and brings back very unwanted memories."

"I... really don't know if I can..."

He growls, pulling at the straps in frustration. "God dammit.."

She sighed. "I really wish I could..."

Stein growls but finally just lays back down. "... Maybe we could just have another session while I'm here... Hey at least I won't try to grab you or anything.."

She smiles, wryly. "Ha. True that."

"It'd give me something to do.. Other than stare at the ceiling...."
