It has been a full week since the outbreak, and many people have given up on the government. No soldiers have been seen, no helicopters, no armored cars driving around the streets, not even the radio signal that loops continuously has started again. It seems the U.S government has fallen.

Many are dead, missing, or have turned against each other for their own gain. Most people will shoot you, even before talking to you, so they can take your supplies. It's odd, how chaos can bring out our true selves out. Many people have given up on the old way, more on life.

The capital, the best secure place someone can live in, is now worse than hell. The infected roam the streets, many carrying pipes, knives, and other small, lethal weapons, searching for the health. They are smarter than the movies and games make them out to be, and deadlier. What they are is hard to explain, but they aren't normal, intimidating, slow zombies.

Not many are alive, but the remaining survivors have determined a two goals. One, is to leave the area and head to Alaska. From there, there is a rumor that an aircraft carrier is picking up survivors and they are headed for a small island near Greenland, where it is infected free. Option two, head deeper into the Capitol and find heavier arms, and secure a spot until word of news has arrived.

But, is there really any hope left in the Apocalypse?

Sneak roll - (If you run into a lone zombie, Raider(s), or horde, you have a chance to be unnoticed.) Roll even - Unnoticed and has a chance to take cover. Roll odd - Noticed and you have a second to warn others and prepare yourself.

Combat - In combat, you don't have to roll. But to make things interesting, you can choose to be harmed and roll an injury.

1 - Zombie appears

3 - Item Breaks (Roll again)

5 - Horde appears (Roll again)

7 - Raider(s) appears

9 - Injury (Roll again)

Injuries

1 - One or a few fingers break.

2 - Hand is sprain or broken

3 - Arm is broken

4 - Shoulder dislocated

5 - Foot is broken

6 - Ankle is sprained

7 - Leg is broken

8 - Bleeding wound or scratches

9 - Broken nose

10 - Bitten (Any area you choose.)


Item Breaks

1 - Weapon (Roll again. If you roll even, you choose, odd, and your best weapon is destroyed.)

2 - Bag (Choose three items you can't leave with out and leave the rest.)

3 - A article of clothing you are wearing.
