The year is 2097, the major powers of the world have conjoined into one Republic that have seized control of major trading outlets. Ever since the creation of the New Republic, crime rate his risen dramatically, and many resistance organizations have surfaced. The New Republic, being hell-bent on their, 'justice', have taken petty crimes with large punishment. But from these strict policies, the prisons are over-populated with prisoners, and they're running out of space. Their way of dealing with the situation? Thinning the population while providing entertainment for the public. By making them kill eachother. In the Bullet of Bullets

"Ladies and gentlemen," the announcer boomed his voice over the stadium, "please welcome BoB's top contenders!" The audience held their applause and cheers. "Saber, and, Eagle!" The announcer shouted into the mic as the audience erupted. Ecstatic fans cheered and foamed as they awaited their favorite contenders to dual. The terrain was that of an old town. Crumbling building and a thick fog that settled above the cracked cobblestone roads. "Let this battle. Begin!"

From the southern end of the town, a female figure emerged from the fog, the crowd began to chant, "EAGLE, EAGLE, EAGLE". Katlin Black, better know to the citizens of the Republic by her arena name, "Eagle", stepped onto the battlefield, armed with her two signature katanas. She examined her surroundings, planning her attack. She had done this many times before, for she had an impressive record of 36 kills, but Katlin had never faced someone with the skills of Saber. She was in for a tough fight.

Artemis was quick one his feet, for his battle-suit was made of a titanium-alloy C33 combination. He made his way to the crumbling watch tower at his left. The northern crowd screamed his name. It was rookie versus to veteran. Both Saber and Eagle were undefeated contenders and formidable foes. Artemis had just been thrown into the wraps of this game, and had rapidly moved through the ranks. He was a feared name among the players of the game, and his name portrayed his ferocity. Saber. Brutal, relentless, ferocious, merciless. Although he had the option to spare the life of those he fought, he chose to execute them by snapping their neck, or crushing their skulls beneath his heel. Reaching the structure and climbing its rickety ladder, he squatted up top and deployed the tripod of his retractable sniper. "Any moment Eagle." Loading a high caliber bullet into his chamber, he looked down the sights. "You'll be blown right from your spot at number 1."

Katlin knew Saber would have his lethal sniper rifle with him, so she decided to move as quietly as possible through the ruins and sticking to the shadows, she would hunt him down and kill him without him even knowing she was there, like an Eagle to a mouse in a feild. This had been her strategy throughout all 36 of her matches and she wasn't about to change her strategy now. She utilized her quickness as she navigated through alleyways, and abandoned, aged buildings, searching the rooftops for the deadly sniper...

Artemis suspected the movements of his enemy, and was proven correct. Spotting her in the alleyway about three blocks from his location, he set his sights on her torso, and pulled the trigger. Lucky for her, she was moving to quick for even his marksmanship. The bullet hit just barely behind her back, hitting the brick beside her, causing an eruption of chipped brick and dust to fling across the ground of the alleyway. Accepting that his cover was blown, he quickly relocated, collapsing the sniper and hooking it on his thigh, and sliding down the ladder. His feet met the stone bellow with a loud crack and he bounded off his feet to the next location he had in mind. The biggest house on the block, the one across from his sniping position.

Eagle waited for several moments to make sure Saber had stop firing before leaving her cover behind an old dumpster. When she belived that the coast was clear, she quietly moved toward where the shots had come from. "If i plan on staying alive, ill have to be more careful." She thought to herself. She aproached the watch tower which had a perfect view of where she had been moments before. "He has to be in some place tall..." She thought as she looked around to find the tallest building in the arena, a three story mansion about a block away. She stealthily worked her way to the back of the mansion before entering though a window on the first floor.

Artemis was waiting for her he had his compound bow in hand, aiming at shot at her abdomen. Releasing the nylon string, the arrow was sent flying towards its target. The head of the arrow contained an agent that would ignite and combust on impact. It would deal damage imbedded in her flesh, but would only knock her back a few inches if she managed to block it. In case of the situation that she was able to deflect the incoming arrow, he quickly unsheathed the saber hidden beneath the armor in his forearm. The blade extended about two feet from his hand and was slender for mobility. Artemis had about almost weapon available to him due to their re-tractability.

Fortunetly, as Katlin entered the window she tucked and rolled avoiding the incoming arrow as the wall behind her exploded, knocking her to the ground, as she stood up she swung her right katana, followed by the left one...

Artemis ducked and rolled backwards, avoiding the oncoming attack, he then charged after her, blacksteel katana in one hand, and saber in the other. Running with incredible speed he pushing forward, driving his blade in front of him in hopes of puncturing his opponent, and if that failed, his katana would follow behind, but stay close to the ground in case they attempted to duck.

Katlin attempted to jump over Artimus,barley clearing him,she quickly turned around and got into a defensive sance, waiting his next move...she knew it would be too risky to attack a much bigger and stronger opponent head on...

"Huh, you're good Eagle." He exclaimed smirking as he whipped his body towards his opponent. "Even though you may have more experience in these games," he grinned beneath the shield of his visor and charged forward with much force, but with smooth swift actions. Keeping his katana low, tracing the floor, he swung towards his opponent with his saber.
