The whole time they were busy doing their stuff, the redhaired girl was running from the cops and hiding. "Great. I can say bye to My movie now." She sighed and searched for a place to hide.
The only spot She could currently find was a hotel room that seemed empty, which She could hide in until the police calmed down.
Eloise climbed up to the window and opened it, looking behind her for any cops and enterring. She hid under the window border and sighed in relief. She looked ahead of her and saw the 3 strangers from earlier.
"On all the freakin' people in this city, i had to fall on you guys."

Julia stared at the vigilante with an ipen mouth for a few seconds, then nodded. "Actually, yeah, that's pretty much it. I read a lot of--" She was interrupted by the sound of her window sliding open and a body tumbling in. Her trap seemed to be pretty broken, then. "Oh now what the hell." Then her face lit up again as she remembered the flame girl. "Holy shit! You! Yes!" She began laughing and jumping in place. "This is amazing! We have a whole super-team now!" She took a few deep breaths, trying to calm herself down. "Okay, calm down Birdie. Introductions first." She gestured to everyone in her hotel room. "Everyone here has some sort of ability. Except for you," she pointed to Dawson, "you might just be cool. Anyway, I'd like to start a superhero team. Like the Avengers or Fantastic Four or something." She smiled at her guests. "We showed today we can kick ass together, and I think we should apply it to more! Who's with me?"
He simply chuckled. Intuition was a good thing to have. "...Hm. Actually, while I'm not exactly powered, per se, I'm not weak, either." he said, calm. Nonchalance was another thing he maintained.
Nick was speechless, absolutely speechless, not only was he now in the presence of three superpowered maniacs, but one of them wanted them to form a superhero team of all things. This had to be a dream, no way something like this could actually be happening to him, right?
"...S-Superhero team, what are you completely nuts?" Nick stated incredulously. "This isn't some comic book, we can't just dress up in colorful outfits and fight crime, we'd be captured and... experimented on before we know it. No way, no chance is that happening!" Nick asserted, crossing his arms in defiance.

''As long as i dont get caught, dont wear pink and get to beat up people who actually did something bad, i'm in.'' Eloise stood and brushed the dust off her clothes.
''I'm Eloise Abraham by the way, and i.. am considered a delinquent at my school.. mhyeah..'' She rubbed the back of her neck and sighed. ''Nuts?.. I dont mind being nuts.. If we get captured, be sure i'll be there to put my initials on their bums after i epicly saved you from dieing.'' She grinned and crossed her arms, feeling awesome, and looking and sounding arrogant.
She blinked a bit before realising Nick was being serious. ''You're being serious here?.. Nop, no way. Now that you know who we are, and our plans, that could get in our way..'' She counted on her fingers before continuing.
''Either we gotta make you forget by causing you amnesia, you join, or i we can.. Nah.. i dont want more on my criminal files..'' Eloise muttered to herself. ''Or we can kill you.'' She said, completly serious.
''It's your choice.'' She starred at him with a bit of an intimidating look, waiting for his answer. Since he seemed pretty nervous and against thing like.. well forming a hero team, she was pretty sure he was going to choose the option to join their little group.

"K-K-K-Kill me...!" Nick stuttered in absolute terror, backing away until he was pressed up against the wall. He could tell from Eloise's stare that she was dead serious, not exactly the kind of teammate he would want to have on a team of any kind. "H-H-Hold on, there's really no need to be so drastic, I promise I won't tell anyone about you guys, hell, I'll be trying with all my might to just forget this whole day even happened!" He insisted, taking a moment to take a deep breath to calm himself.
"I... I just want to be normal, you know, go to school, play video games, hang with friends, so trust me, if anyone asks, there's no way in hell I'm telling them I have freaky powers and was offered to be part of a team." He assured with upmost sincerity, before taking a peek at his watch to see that he had about 20 minutes left before he had to leave.

"Woah, hey!" Julia stood between Eloise and Nick, glaring at Eloise. "No killing teammates. This won't work if we're at each others' throats." She glanced at Nick, then back to Eloise. "We'll talk about avoiding violence later."
Julia moved her attention fully to Nick, slowly moving up to him. "Look, I know it's weird and sudden. But trust me, you'll get found out. Secrets have an odd way of loosing themselves, eh?" She smiled. "But if you team up with us, we can help each other out. Like Eloise said, we can bust out whoever gets captured." She shrugged. "So make a decision now; either join with us or go hime and be discovered." With that properly dramatic note, she turned back to the other two. "So that's a yes from Eloise, and I'll put you down as a... maybe. What's your name?"

He frowned. "Don't have one, to my somewhat limited knowledge." he said, looking to the side. The Jupiter incident had ruined him, really. He had no memory of who he once was.
Nick pondered Blackbird's statement, it's true that secrets rarely stayed secret for long, but Nick's been able to keep his powers under wraps for over two years now, as long as he didn't try anything flashy like what he did back on the bus he was sure he could keep people from finding out, just like he's been doing so far. Besides, he didn't want a double life, ordinary kid, crime fighting super freak at night, he wanted to be an ordinary kid 24/7, and actively using his powers as part of a superhero team was definitely not going to help him with that.
"...Sorry, but I really don't want anything to do with you guys anymore." Nick finally replied, unable to look any of them in the eye. "I promise I won't tell anybody about you guys, and I'd really appreciate it if you did the same for me." Nick turned around and walked to the door of the room, reaching for the handle and opening it. "Well, this is goodbye, good luck with whatever you three decide to do."

Julia frowned. It was time to get persuasive. Blackbird's hand was suddenly on Nick's shoulder, spinning him around. Up close, he would see that her whole eye wasn't metal- only the iris, though it was unusually large. "Look, Nick. We're going to make a team. You've got a gift, and if you join with us you can do so much more than you can on your own." She leaned in close, smiling. "Think of all the glory you can get, all the lives you can improve. You'll have a positive outlet for your powers- and trust me, you'll need one." Her expression shifted to a glare. "Or you can walk out now, and let word of your powers get out slowly. Get cut off from your so-called friends as they abandon you because you're supposed to be dea- normal. End up alone in a hotel room, trying to use your powers without guidance. Believe me, you do not want that. I can help you. We can help you." She smiled again. "Please, Nick. Join us and be extroardinary."
He tried remembering his name. No dice. Former occupation? Nothing. Anything? No. Failed again. Useless, as usual. "..."
Nick was silent, he could tell from her expression that Blackbird was speaking from experience, that she truly believed that they, as a team could accomplish something... greater than themselves. But for Nick, that wasn't what he wanted, not in the least, he shot back a glare of his own and removed Blackbird's hand from his shoulder.
"I don't think you heard me, I don't want glory, I don't want a "positive outlet" for my powers, hell I don't want any outlet for my powers, I just want to pretend they don't even exist!" He snapped, irritated at her insistence. "You said that my secret will get out sooner or later, and who knows, you're probably right, but I'd rather suppress my powers until that day comes then flex them out in public wearing some flashy outfit; it's not about hiding it from others, I'm hiding them because that's what I want! I don't want to be "extraordinary", I just want to be plain old ordinary, I... I just want to be Nick Kell, that's it..." Nick finished his tirade looking at the ground solemnly. He felt somewhat guilty yelling in Blackbird's face like that, but he really didn't want anything to do with this "superhero" nonsense of hers.
"I'm sorry, but the answer's no, three is plenty for a team, so you'll just have to do without me... I'm sorry." Nick quickly turned his back on the three and rushed out of the room, slamming the door behind him to encourage them not to follow him. He made his way out of the building after that, and to the bus stop to get back home.

Julia glared at the closed door. "Hm. He's going to be tough to convince." She waved a hand, turning her attention to the blonde. "I'll send him an email later. Now, I'm sorry for kind of ignoring you." SHe smiled. "What was your name again? Real or codename, whichever you prefer."
"Not sure. I go by Godot, for the time being." He closed his eyes, trying one more time. Nothing came up. "Nope, not sure."
"I'm home!" Nick announced as he walked through the front door of his house. He began to walk to the living room when his mother rushed out to meet him.
"Nick, oh I'm so glad you're safe!" She said as she embraced him, surprising Nick.
"Uh, yeah, why wouldn't I be?" He asked.
"Drop the act, I just saw on the news that the bus you were on was hijacked!" She exclaimed, making Nick freeze. "Nick why would you lie to me about something so serious, you could've been killed!"
"I... I didn't want you worry, after all I didn't get hurt." Nick replied, looking away in shame.
"And I'm thankful for that, really I am, but I don't appreciate being lied to, understand." She said strictly.
"...Yeah, I understand." He said solemnly, if only she knew just how much he was lying to her about. "So, what else did they say about the hijacking?"
"Come see for yourself." She said, leading Nick to the living room. She turned up the volume on the TV, which was still running the story of the hijacking.
"...witness state that the hijackers were subdued by two civilians on the bus, one a man in his mid to late twenties who pulled his own firearm on the hijackers, and the other, incredibly enough, was described as not even human, being covered in what was described as black, insect like skin with long claws and green eyes. Witness also state that this monstrous civilian was able to change her appearance, however the police have yet to comment on this speculation. Another interesting detail was that it was confirmed that one of the perpetrators was shot by the civilian with the gun, but all witness confirm that none of them heard any gunshot..." Nick began to sweat, he figured they would show it on the news, but he didn't think they'd actually acknowledge his part in the take down.
"Can you believe it, shapeshifting monster, it's amazing what people see when they're scared out of their minds." Her mother laughed at the thought. Nick nervously laughed with her, but on the inside, he was a wreck.
'Just calm down Nick, there's no way they can connect you to this, as long as you keep your mouth shut nobody ever has to know you were involved.' He assured himself.

Julia raised an eyebrow at the name, but didn't comment on the name. It would be rude. "Alright then, Godot. I'm Blackbird. I'm a shapeshifter, i have heightened hearing, and I work at the archives. Tell me about yourself, what you do for a living, your powers." As she spoke, she opened up her laptop, tapped in a couple security codes, and started searching through the archives for a Nick Kell. Surprisingly, she found one who matched the appearance- seems he hadn't thought to give a false name. With a couple more searches, she found an email address and sent him a short message.

"My name, I don't remember. All I know is, I'm an experiment. I'm working as security for an electronics company, and my powers... I'm not sure I have any." Obviously, something was wrong with his memory.
Nick felt exhausted, after dinner he went straight up to his room and plopped down on his bed, rubbing his face with his hands in both tiredness and frustration. Just then, he noticed a small blinking light on his computer screen, signaling that he had a new E-Mail. He reluctantly stood up from his bed and sat at his desk, opening his inbox to find the message Blackbird left him. He went wide eyed at the sight of the message, to think she was actually serious about finding him, if she ever tried to come to his house his life would officially be over. He growled in frustration and began typing a reply.
Leave. Me. ALONE!' He types out, sending the three word message with angry hit of the enter key. Blackbird seemed sincere enough, but she really didn't understand him, he didn't want his powers, he didn't want to use them. It wasn't enough to just keep it a secret, he wanted himself to forget about it as well, he just wanted... to be normal. He shut down his computer and went straight back to his bed, he tried to fall asleep, but despite being so tired he just couldn't stop thinking.

Heaven stared at the TV, which seemed to have that stupid bus news story on repeat. "As if...", she chuckled and shook her head. That couldn't be real. If something this drastic actually happened she would've seen it coming. Sheeaned back on the couch and snuggled further into the blanket. She was so comfortable, but she didn't want to sleep. She was not in the mood for knowing anything about any future.
Callum stared at the T.V in his room. He quietly pondered to himself. How was it possible? Could there actually be others out there? In Chigaco? He might not actually be alone.
He walked over to his desk to clear his head. His Bonsai tree was growing on it. It looked a bit shrivelled.
"Dang, I forgot to water it AGAIN." Csllim said exasperatedly. He waved his hand over it and it returned to life.
