I would also prefer a lowe-tech setting, if we're going to do a Hunter vs Unicorn thing BUT if majority prefer modern fantasy, then we ought to limit the sort of weapons/magic both sides are able to use? Just to prevent overkill?

Agreed, it could be that the hunters are less about extermination and more in it for "sport", so they use strictly "old school" weapons. Crossbows, spears, bow and arrow, just avoiding firearms in general. What do you folks think?

I agree with uni, on the limitations. Low tech weapons (or at least not anything like machine guns etc)

Oo a forest would be good, like a commonly used migration routes the unicorns take once every few years?

It'd be a good spot for a hunter ambush too, if you wanted to start things out that way

Unicorn is well, team Unicorn, haha. I hope you all dont mind if I play her as she normally is? (In my personal canon, Uni is the eldest of her kind, a common ancestor kind of deal and Queen.)

Dark-sided uni, at your service. A forest setting is ideal, and I'm personally fine with Unicorn being a monarch. In fact... if you're up for it Unicorn, and if everyone else is okay with it, maybe we could say that she called them all together? Sent out word that it was time to congregate and plan against the hunters (but the hunters catch wind of the scheme and show up too)?
