I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but one of the most frustrating things for me as someone who frequently updates my character connections is how the bar to make edits is linear. Scrolling to remove typos is tedious and mind boggling, and trying to redo the whole thing? Please.

My recommendation is to enlarge the html boxes and to provide html options to make it easier, and more fluid in the process of editting.
As well, if it's possible to drastically increase the character limit - I would appreciate this terribly!

Secondly,

If there were possible ways to clear activity feed notifications,. I believe this would be helpful for a variety of reasons:

Reduces reoccurring triggering material,
Keeps newsfeeds accurate and up to date,
Cleans up news from individuals who we are no subscribed to!

I am planning on revamping much to do with the friendship system this year, so I will definitely keep all this in mind.

This one is fairly unlikely at any point in the near future.

Fortunately on the activity feed, it'll only show you titles and such for the most part, and if you do remove people or threads you're following after the activity has come up, you can use the "Clear notifications cache" link at the bottom of the page to give it a little reset after the removal.

Can I ask why this may be unlikely to be implemented?

She only said in the near future. Kim is crazy busy, after all, and has to pick and choose what'll be best to work on at any given point. From what she's already mentioned she's currently working on, I'm not sure she'd have time for anything else right now!

Notifications aren't individual. That is, when you create a new character, it doesn't create a separate notification for each of your friends and send it to just them. It creates a single record of that event happening, and then when a person goes to look at their notifications, a search is conducted for events relevant to people/things they have declared "of interest", whether that's by subscribing, friending, or what have you.

There's nothing currently there that could be marked as seen or not seen by a particular individual.

I can think of several ways to potentially do this, but the system just isn't in place to support it right now, and I'm not convinced one method would be better than another. There's plenty of precedent for being able to clear feeds, but there's plenty of precedent for not, as well.
