To an area once abundant with lush foliage, now held an enormous crater the size of a lake. In the center was what seemed to be a mountain, unusual weather patterns often occurred above the crater. If one was to venture from the forest surrounding and into the barren wastes, they would only find a chilling, lonely feeling, as if someone close to you had died in your arms. The winds blew wildly, no birds would fly above.

Could I join?

A dark red haired girl stood on top of a cliff,her dark red angel wings curled on her back.She surveyed the area around her."This place is pretty creepy."She said in her mind.

The skies were mostly clear, except for that spot. The clouds hung heavily above, swirling slowly. Light sand was being blown up around the large mound.

Agrona noticed the clouds and their swirling."The wind's too strong for me to get a closer look."She said in her mind as she stood there and watched.

The wind seemed to pull on her as it whistles loudly. Lightning started flashing vibrantly behind the darkening clouds. This wasn't odd weather for this area, many travelers reported the strange storms, but no one ventured down towards the center. Scholars stated the crater was thousands of years old.

Xelera stood on the edge of the crater, the wind pulling at her clothes. Her silver eyes searched the crater, as if looking for something or someone. She glanced up towards the sky as lightning flashed across the dark clouds. She pulled her bow from her back, she didn't know what sort of creatures were in this crater, all she knew was a relic was said to be in the mountain that stood high in the center. She needed the relic to save her people, it was said to have great healing power. She hoped for the sake of the Elven tribe, the rumors of the relic were true.

She had left her tribe days ago in search of the relic, her tribe had been cursed with a plague and it was killing off her kind. She went against her fathers orders to come here, and nothing would stop her now. She had came too far to give up now. She began climbing down the steep rock face that led into the crater, the wind beating against her form.

Agrona braced against the wind."I..I got to get down."She said in her mind as she opened her dark red wings and jumped off the cliff.She glided down to the crater and closed her wings."Now what do I do?"

Even at a miles distance, through the wind stirred sand, one could draw their attention to the texture of the mountain. Like giant shield shaped tiles had been precisely placed over one another, smooth enough that sand would just glide across the surface. Unless this mountain was entirely formed of slate, you think it would be odd that the whole mountain was a charcoal gray.

Xelera cleared the steep rock face, keeping her bow at the ready when she reached the bottom. Something seemed odd about the mountain from this angle. She walked slowly through the wastes that was the crater, making her way towards the mountain. She had the sneaking suspicion that she was not alone in this crater, so she kept her guard up at all times. Her eyes moved, surveying the area around her, ready to attack anything that moved.

She was so close to the mountain now, her quest to seek the relic just ahead of her. Anxiety began to rise within her, her thoughts venturing to the relic. What if it was not there? What would she do? It was her peoples only hope.

As each humanoid drew closer, thunder cracked above the winds moving the clouds faster. Legends stated, that if one was to spill blood onto the mountain, that their desires would be obtained. All sins cleared, diseases cleansed and the individual gets one miracle granted. But these were just rumors, highly believed in by elven races.

Agrona looked up, frightened by the lightning.She kept her gaze behind her, in case someone tried to sneak up on her.She didn't notice the crater until she stepped over the edge.Agrona yelped and rolled down the side of the crater.When she came to a stop,she didn't move. She pushed herself onto her back,taking deep breaths to calm herself.Her wings had gone into her back before she fell so they wouldn't become broken "I am an idiot."She thought to herself.

Xelera reached the base of the mountain, noticing elven script that told if blood was spilled, wishes would be granted. She pushed her mouth to the side, running her fingers across the stone script.

She heard a commotion behind her, and spun around, drawing an arrow on her bow. Her aim was precise, and her hands were steadied. Her cold eyes looked upon the woman that lay upon the ground. She narrowed her eyes, her silver glare stern.

Light rain began to fall, cleaning the gathered dust from the large "mountain". The surface shined like gloss, dim blue lines appeared as the grime was washed away, they glowed faintly. The etchings on the stone near the mountain also glowed the same blue color.

in the distance of this barren waste land, an icy patch of fog formed. It moved,close to the ground. each step taken my it's keeper left an icy print in the hot earth.

insolent fools,The being thought to herself.all of them.

the air around this fog dived below freezing,as the path of icy footprints lenghtened.

Who was to know that this "Mountain", was actually a half dead deity. A god of high power and ability, fallen from the very heavens. But no, they wouldn't understand, this colossal giant who was defeated by a darker force. Yet they walked among it's tomb with absolutely no idea that he exists, disrespectful in terms of his species. No, this was just a giant rock in the middle of a crater, a relic. Though an elemental creature would easily see the fallen lord, as every elemental shared life force, so did he.

The last of the Celestial Sky dragons.

Agrona looked up to see a female elf with an arrow pointed at Agrona."Don't shoot me.I just fell down the side of the crater."She stood up and since she was panicking, her dark red angel wings came out of her back.

Her eyes widened when she saw the wings sprout from the girls back. She kept her bow taut, "Leave now, this is a holy place." Xelera said, her tone cold and short. She looked at the girl coldly, whatever she was, she was interfering in her quest.

Agrona looked around."H-holy?N-no wonder this place is c-creepy."Agrona looked at the elf."And for your information,I'm half Angel,but if you look on my father's side that's a different story."Agrona looked at the ground.
