I'm not new to roleplaying, I've been doing this for about four or five years. I found RPR through a game I used to play, this site seems to have a wide verity of characters & players! I have two pets, My dog keo and my kitten Marilyn. I work from home and often have a bunch of free time on my hands.
Fantasy and horror are some of my favorite rp themes but I'm more than willing to do others (:!
What about you guys, what are some of your favorite types of roleplays? (BTW anyone mind explaining the dice system on here.. I'm super curious!)

We're very glad to have you here. What was the game you found us through, if I may ask? Also, what kind of doggy is Keo?
Fantasy and horror are VERY popular around here, so that shouldn't be too hard to find. I'm a huge fan of fantasy myself, but horror gives me the wibbly wobblies.
Using dice is quite optional here, and only some RPs will make use of it. But if you've never used dice in RP before, we have an article on how to use dice to enhance RP. If you have, then you know that there are hundreds of different rule systems for dice use. There isn't one that we officially mandate as a site, rather, we try to provide tools that will work with whatever kind of game our members want to run/play in.

I used to play furcadia awhile back. Keo is a bluetick coonhound/akita mix (lovely girl, a little hyper sometimes though haha).
Darker themes can make your skin crawl but I love the excitement that comes with it. Such a rush

Zombies are pretty awesome, and so is TWD! I haven't done many zombie roleplays, to be honest, even if I have a couple of necromancer characters. (Interestingly enough, I've done more lichdom roleplays -zombie apocalypse roleplays with a fantasy twist- than the traditional zombie roleplays. Heh.)

GAH I know right! Everyone's been talking about the new season, though I have yet to see it- looks pretty amazing though!
Ooo necromancer, that's a pretty rad idea. That sounds like it would have pretty grim/dark themes! Which is great.
Ive been debating making a zombie character. Might have an interesting mindset, if you really think about it..

I've grown pretty annoyed at Rick throughout the 5th season, to be honest. I hope he redeems himself in the 6th. (Morgan's grown saner than him. Although that's not terribly difficult.

Actually, I don't even use them in many undead-related roleplays! They keep most of their darker magic a secret: it doesn't clearly show up in their profile! (But there are hints.) I need to get more into that side of those characters.

It's an interesting concept. Humanizing a zombie could be rad. Of course, it'd always depend on the type of zombie-ism. A mindless TWD zombie wouldn't work. Maybe one in the first stages of undeath?
