Another riddle, oh, but what shall it be?
When someone close to you falls ill with a disease that has never been seen before, you strike out to find a legendary panacea, a cure for all ailments. Just as you are about to give up, an imp who calls itself Makalani tells you it knows the way to this cure, but when asked where it only speaks in riddles, and takes you on a journey around the world - with a creature whose existence revolves around mischief at your side.
A bit of world building is probably needed, and further expansion of the plot would be preferable. I'm not really concerned about the amount of people/characters, but I would say no more than four or so.

Magic is fairly common. Players and NPCs important to the tale may have it. Mistborn.
Iron age
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
