An ancient Celestial Dragon physically consumed Lizariah, the origin planet of Etharon over a thousand years ago, the race fled to the nearest planet to call home. After landing on earth in the Steampunk era (1890) technology began to rapidly improve now in the year 3015 Cyber technology has covered Old Earth, now known as New World.
But on one fateful day, without warning the ancient beast known as "The Celestial" as closed its jaws around New World and swallowed us whole!!! But it will be up to four Heros to save the world from being digested
Problems to Over Come!
-Other Worldly Viruses are extremely deadly to the people of our planet and there are no known cures, so we have to leave our world and search the debre of shattered worlds to find these mysterious cures!
-Celestial Anti-Bodies are dropping down on our world from the Celestial Dragon's insides, they are giant worm like dragon things that consume buildings and technology, anything that isn't "natural life". We must destroy these "Eatters" as they have been called before our world is tossed back to the Stone Age!
-Maintain the Force Feild, when Lizariah was attacked by this Celestial, they gathered as many people as they could into three or four giant star ships and escaped leaving billions to die. But here on New World we had a different thought, launch a highly unstable force field to keep our world from being crushed by the Space monsters insides as we were being consumed. Now we need to build better force fields around these make shift ones to secure the public's safety!
-Last but most important! Launching a team of suicide adventurers to venture into the Celestials body up into its head and try to kill it, untightening the muscles and allowing the planet to hopefully drift out of the dead Celestial Dragon with the help of a few dozen Star Fleet Ships....

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Far future, perhaps interstellar travel (generation ships)
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
