Drake of Sundermill (played by Draken901)

He sticks an arrow into his hare using it like a pike, he takes off his helmet and scarfs it down, obviously starving for his morning meal. After there being nothing but bones, he cleans off the arrow and slips it back into his quiver. He wipes his mouth and dusts off his armor, he then puts his helmet back on. "I've go ta' say Boris, you'd do fine at a pub." "By the way, you still got those hare skins? I could use them."
Kalliope (played by BabyDragon)

Kalliope takes her hare, and gently uses her bloody cape as a heat guard agains the hot meal. Living alone, she's not that used to eat meat, and especially not meat cooked in such a simple way. Even though it's a boring meal, she eats a bit of it. It is a hot meal, and it might be days, even weeks before they will get a hot meal again. Not wanting to get in the way, she doesn't comment of any of the instructions from Boris, trusting his survival skills more than her own.
Ivan Pajari (played by TheTwilightWarrior)

Ivan pulls down his mask and takes a hare before anyone can see his face. He turns around and feasts on the hare like a ravenous animal. He had not noticed how hungry he was until he finally got a chance to eat, and boy was he hungry. He eats it up quickly, leaving little meat on the bones. After he had finished, he clutches his stomach and winces in pain. Perhaps eating so quickly did cause him to feel the pain.
Drake of Sundermill (played by Draken901)

(We're waiting for Gutebnurg's post I think.)
Ivan Pajari (played by TheTwilightWarrior)

Ivan was paying little attention to what Boris was saying, mostly examining the bones for any extra morsels to finish. He looks back up as the others begin to pack. He blushes underneath his armour and drops the bones, rushing to his horse. It was embarrassing for him to not pay attention, and thinks now's the time to get ready. "Um... da... Sorry I was... thing..." He says awkwardly before leaping up on his horse and holding its reigns. "Okay, ready I think..."

((So do you think Sif is going to play a part in the story? We could use a strong female character.))
Drake of Sundermill (played by Draken901)

He stands up and goes over to his mule. He strokes it's snout and hops onto the saddle, his armor clinking as he does so. "So Boris, have you been to the northward town we be going to recently?" (keeping the RP on life support.)
Boris Skalforn (played by Gutebnurg456) Topic Starter

(Should be, she sent me a PM saying so. Waiting on Tarben and Kalliope to reply, then we'll zip on to the next village, where things should start to pick up again)
Kalliope (played by BabyDragon)

Kalliope gets up, and stretches her legs. The cold air and her frozen dress has made her joints stiff and aching. She stretches her back too, waiting for everybody else to get ready for the journey. She picks ud her bundle of books and scriptures, and move tries to make it easier to hold on to, as they leave. Maybe she will be able to teach in the other village, and maybe the other village would be more open to all of them, if they knew that they wouldn't be a burden.
Sif Chevalier Emerso (played by DancingDawn)

(Sorry for making you wait so long, guys! I've been in England for two weeks. Busy all the time, so I haven't been able to reply)

Sif is currently hiding under the hoodie of her cape, observing this odd party. She carefully sneaks from tree to tree. Making sure she doesn't make too much noise, when she walks in the snow. They might not notice her footsteps, because they make some noise themselves, when they walk, she does not underestimate them. If she makes a mistake, like stepping on a branch, they sure can't ignore her. She follows them silently and can basically hear every word they're saying. So they're leaving to the next village? That must be Whitedell, and currently it doesn't seem like the worst idea.
Tarben (played by The10thWorthy)

Tarben would nod in acknowledgement of Boris' brief answer, before allowing himself to partake of the provided breakfast.
Aside the others, he would heed the old man as he instructed them as to their destination.
When everyone began to prepare for the trek, he would come to Boris a second time, though no question lies upon his lips, even if some lay upon his heart.
He simply begins to keep closer to the more expetienced member of the group- of those that he could trust, that is.
"I'm ready.", he mumbles.

(I am sorry for the late reply. Busy, busy, busy- as it has been lately. I will try to make more time for RPR, but feel free to continue without me if I become a burden. <3)
Ivan Pajari (played by TheTwilightWarrior)

"Wait..." Ivan mutters as he looks throughout the cluster of snow covered trees. That feeling one would get when they feel like they're being watched, Ivan is feeling exactly that. It could be just irrational delusions clouding his sense of reality, so he thinks it best to leave it be. "Never mind... Let's get going before something tries to kill us out here." Ivan says almost coldly as he urges his horse forward.
Drake of Sundermill (played by Draken901)

(Eh... Gutebnurg...? You there? Anyone?)
Sif Chevalier Emerso (played by DancingDawn)

(I'm just waiting til Gutebnurg and everyone has answered before I reply. Just give him some time. Might take a while ^^)
Kalliope (played by BabyDragon)

(So I guess this is pretty dead, huh?)
Tarben (played by The10thWorthy)

(Red will be back, I am sure of it.
Be patient, dear. <3
That said, I am sure you would enjoy doing something else for now, until his return.)
Drake of Sundermill (played by Draken901)

(It's Half-Life 3 all over again. ;-; )
Sif Chevalier Emerso (played by DancingDawn)

(He did say he was busy, so I'm sure he'll be back. Patience, friends, patience ^^)
Boris Skalforn (played by Gutebnurg456) Topic Starter

((Sorry you guys, been working a LOT, and I've been out of town for a few days to boot. I didn't think to look here. I'll try and make this boost things a bit))

Boris spares a brief nod towards the whole of the group, wasting little time in chatting or conversation - They need to get to the next village, and they need to get their quickly. It's a half a day's trek away from their current site, but of course it would be a good idea to get far away from the previous village. No matter how un-trained, a large amount of militiamen would easily over take a small party.

The mountaineer, Boris, has walked these woods countless times. Even his favored pet and companion Chauncey, seems familiar with this area. His footsteps are rather slow, cautious of a few high raised roots and low holes in the earth beneath them. He would intentionally divert away from the road, cautious of more soldiers possibly spotting them. Yet it would always be in sight. The trail he takes, a game trail it appears, wraps around a heavily wooded stretch of mountains, inclining. As they rise, so does the snow, and so do their legs to press through it. The mountains offer some protection from the snowfall, and the cold wind, which is good. Otherwise, it may be intolerable. The venture is one northward, the farther north the party traverses, the warmer it seems to be (though, not a sudden change in temperature, and the snow is still quite prominent)

Hours upon hours of bounding through thick snow, over slick icy ground, leads the group to a point in which the mountain cuts off the game trail, and makes it impossible to traverse without either ample climbing gear (which they do not have), or by taking a turn to he west, and finding the main road again. Being no other option, Boris heads west, until he arrives at the pass. The road narrows heavily, as it cuts through the mountain, to a point where no more than five people could pass at once. Both sides of this trail are blocked by a nearly impassible mountain, which would take several days to hike around, through highly treacherous terrain.

After passing through this gap, looking down the mountainside, the village in question can be seen a stones throw away. Untouched, by the raiders who are undoubtedly planning to come here, next.
Ivan Pajari (played by TheTwilightWarrior)

To be put into simple words: Ivan was exhausted, as was his horse. Of course, such a feeling he's used to since he was exiled. The road was his home, and found travelling with others to be a fairly welcome change of pace. All the time, he'd use to travel alone with his horse, but now that he has company, he no longer felt like he had no more family.

Ivan gasped in surprise as they make it to the village. He breathes a sigh of relief and looks to the others. "Oh great joy! We've made it! Ha ha haaa!" He throws his arms up in the air triumphantly. "Yes! We..." He looks to the others and lowers his arms, and blushes underneath his armour. "Um... da... let's keep going..." He says in an almost amusing tone, obviously sounding embarrassed.
Sif Chevalier Emerso (played by DancingDawn)

There was a moment in which Sif could hardly breathe. It was when Ivan almost caught her presence. It was probably dangerous for her to be following the party like this. She needed to be more careful. The terrain they started entering was treacherous and she took a great risk. She had to go to the village either way, but she had debts to pay and secrets to uncover. Luckily for her, she was dressed well enough for the occasion and she knew what this place was like. She had been here before and she let them pass down the road, a little further towards the village, before she went in after. She just hoped they wouldn't discover her presence. She kept a close eye on Ivan, but not too close. He noticed something back then..
