In the Grim Darkness of the far future, there is only war.
Kragoth Doros: A member of the now defunct (or perhaps excommunicated) Rainbow Warriors chapter, and a renegade Adeptus Astartes finds himself in a most difficult spot when the feudal world he resides upon is besieged by the ruinous powers of Chaos. With the warring nations brining the planet into further disarray, and no one else to turn to because of his 'heretical' past, the former veteran sergeant finds himself in a hopeless position: the last frontier of this ill-fated world. Doomed to die in prideless manner; with the people of Triandr enslaved by the worshippers of the Chaos Gods. But are there others, who would arrive by chance, and put aside this space marine's fabricated sins and help him defend the worshippers of the Great Father..?
...Or perhaps even side with Chaos, and doom the people of this forgotten feudal world to the terrible massacre destined to take place..?
I've been hungry for a Warhammer 40k roleplay for quite a while now, but being more of a hitchiker, I decided to wait for somebody else to start. But now the need for bloodshed is taking it's toll and I can wait no more!
If you're interested, I'd prefer characters relevant or relatable to the Warhammer 40k universe, although I don't mind a few characters with an original background too (Not everything in 40k necessarily HAS to be grimdark.
)
Last thing. I'm neither bothered by the use of few paragraphs or sentences, but if you're aiming for the latter, just remember to make them as concise as possible, so we can move along smoothly.

Mundane? What's that? Magic permeates every part of the setting. Almost everyone has access to strong magic.
Far future, perhaps galactic teleporters and fast terraforming

Sure thing! I'd be interested to know.
I will post it in a little while, I'm about to pass out from exhaustion xD BUT the short of it, the system is called Odessa, and it was formed as an agricultural colony developed by Krieg to supplement the production of food and resources for their system. I have a longer back story, again I will post it later on xD Involves some minor HERESEY, but what doesn't anymore? The end times are near. xD

Yup. I imagined the setting would be Triandr itself, right after Mr. Doros here slaughters the chaos cultists and realizes "Welp Emprah, this planet is done for, and so am I. Better unite the kingdoms together before we all die slow and painful deaths :'(" The Imperium could take note of the ongoing carnage and acts of heresy and maybe send some mahrens to do some culling, or maybe a force completely unaffiliated with either Empy or Chaos, You know how those Eldar get when they get jiggy with the ruinous powers. The whole setting involves trying to salvage an already sealed fate (or making it worse if you're a heretic.) Sound ok?
I'm going to bump this up as my indulgence of the Horus Heresy novels has really germinated a muse in me for 40k yet again.
