Brother Kragoth Doros (played by KingofHaddock) Topic Starter

Doros leapt out of the way as though his life depended on it, whilst lunging his chainsword in the direction of the king spawn. He managed to cut a few of the 'heads' off, but little damage was done, but the wrath of the king would now come full force. "Not possible Commissar!" Doros shouted over comm, staggering up and waving his chainblade like a madman to ward off any attacks. Things were looking very grim for the Space Marine. "His queen has joined him in suffering, I am outnumbered. I will hold them for as long as I can, but I fear it will not be enough."

Doros gritted his teeth, ready for terrible clash. "Come forward, Mutant. Come foward and meet and meet the torch of the Emperor's light!" He roared with inhuman fury as the chainblade clashed with the terrible claws of his wailing enemies.
Commissar Grim (played by Fluffer)

the commissar cursed. "Fire the missiles and blast us a way in, if he gets injured, so be it, better than having him dead," The commissar yelled. The pilot nodded and let loose a barrage of missiles that streaked itno the stone walls. The raucous explosion tore open a gaping hole in the back of the king's chamber. Moments later the commissar and two Guardsmen would jump out of the Valkyrie and lan in the opening. Then their eyes widened. "Disgusting," He by the Empereror said

Those words enraged the poor queen and her heads were calling her beautiful as she charged at the Commissar and his men. The Great coat wearing man pushed his men out of the way and then he dived to the ground beneath it and it ran off the building.

The impact of the missiles threw Doros and the Kingspawn foward. The marine was almost knocked unconscious, but his body lay covered within the rubble. He caught a clear view of the Queen as he lay on his side, holding his arm out as he saw the Commissar and the Queen spawn disappear from the sight of his eyes. The King quickly regained consciousness, and thus Doros was brought back to reality. It crept closer to him, hissing and salivating over his armour. Doros picked his chainblade off the dusty floor, and lunged it at the King like a spear, warding it off. "To the last breath, Spawn of Chaos." Doros hissed as he picked himself up once more. The King still remained in position however. He was still very much ready to pounce a killing blow on Doros.
Commissar Grim (played by Fluffer)

Grim pulled himself off the ground and began to unload his bolter into the daemon spawn, gory hole being torn into it. The Guardsmen began to fire as well, charring portions of its body. They were standing there, unloading every ounce of ammunition and energy they brought into the beast, blackening it, burning it, puncturing it.

The Marine and the beast stood intensely over the charred rubble. Time felt as though it had stopped completely, until the King could wait no longer. He pounced like a predator onto his prey with a blood-curdling scream, only to find himself being ripped apart by a long chainblade. Doros had predicted the King's plan of attack easily, for a mutant as voracious as a chaos spawn simply lacked the patience needed to strike. The King's scream of ferocity turned into a warped plea for mercy, which got louder and more sorrowful until the spawn's upper body was sawed vertically in half. The King of Sipang was dead, though Doros just had to check by giving the carrion a hard kick.

"The King of Sipang has been dealt with." Doros announced over the comm, looking down over the exposed wall. "How goes your battle with the Queen?"
Commissar Grim (played by Fluffer)

The beast had began a charge, but it did not last long under the combined fired, collapsing under its weight. Then he smiled and got on his Vox. "All clear, and from what I have been hearing, The fleet of Krieg has arrived," Then eh looked at the beast and unladed his last mag into it.

"Thank the Emperor" Doros chuckled over the comm, ignoring the horrible battle he had just faced. The terrible presence that irradiated throughout the castle seemed to just... vanish! The tendrils that prevented Doros' escape were gone, and the whispers were now drowned out completely. "I'm starting to think that mere bloodshed is not the only reason this planet is attracting Chaos. We can never have enough guardsmen at this point" The Sergeant stated whilst he swung his chainblade back behind him on it's holster.

Amidst the fighting below in the fortress, a scattered and drowned out Vox cast began to break through across multiple receivers, as if amplified ten fold by the warp. "Mayd-" it gargled through intense static, rebounding off of the many valleys and mountains of the planet. "Mayday, ma-" it repeated again and again, the rest of the words cut off from recognition, with even the most savvy of radio operators more than likely scratching their heads in wonder. What the hell was exactly being broadcasted across so many Vox systems at once, and where was it coming from? It was clear it was a mayday, but from where? This close to the planet?

Then suddenly, the whole valley amongst which the towns and fortifications were strewn across began to shake, as if it was an earthquake, but the ground did not break. But within an instant, a last transmission broke through, clear than any before. "Mayday! Mayday! This Imperial Vessel INFOD-349-457-17, we have been ambushed upon departure from the warp and are falling fast!" It cried out, leaving the operators back at the 14th's fortifications baffled, if not terrified, for a split moment. But, it all became clear, well, clearer , when across the valley from the castle, a hole through to the warp opened up, big enough for a Naval vessel to slip through, which it did. Trees instantly vaporized and burst into flames beneath hole, smoke filling the valley.

From the gaping hold through the dimensions emerged a carrier bearing the exact markings as issued in the mayday, being pursued by chaos aircraft from the warp. It's interceptor weapons were trying to stave off the attack, but two of it's engines now burned, and it was losing altitude fast; right towards the castle. Even though the ship tries its best to reduce speed, it was easier said than done for ship not intended to be going this fast in orbit. The hellish noise of back thrusters blared over the city, along with autocannon fire as the Behemoth neared the castle, trying to turn but to no avail; ripping the top towers from the substructure as the ship passed overhead, aiming for the only large flat surface it could; some fields just to the west of the city and its fortifications.

As the ship passed so low, the alarms screamed out across all decks, signalling for an all-hands situation. To aid in it's defense, a few lightning fighters began to scramble to intercept the heretical interceptors, and soon a dogfight emerged behind the carrier as its made its contact with the dirty; the screeching of the metal on rock audible even back at the castle as the carrier slide for almost a mile until finally it stopped, pressed flat in the field against a gently slopping hillside.
Commissar Grim (played by Fluffer)

The 13th and the 15th saw this and scrambled to help. Some of the men began to fire the bolters and autocannons at the attacking craft ,Leman Russ Punishers and Chimeras were rolling to try and fend off the bombers. The Auto-cannons roaring as it brought down interceptor after interceptor. The men of the 13th were moving fast to respond, using ground based weaponry to bring them down. IT was hard and 2 chimera's were lost to the fight. Then the 13th began to get ready to meet who had come to aid them or who was unfortunate enough to crash here.
Red Mist of the 721s (played by RandomNoodle)

"Let's go, unload that MBT!" An officer with the 721st Odessian Regiment commanded as the doors on the carrier opened, exposing the scene outside of the crashed vehicle. Astounded by the unusual sight of the strange craft crashing, cultists and scavenger scum alike began to pour into the fields surrounding the naval vessel, hoping the crew would have been severely diminished, allowing them easy picking of the valuable tech inside, but such was not the case. Chimera after Chimera after Leman Russ MBT rolled from the bold as platoon after platoon of Infantry did the same. The knew not of the planet's situation; not of Grim and Kragoth, only that they were now on a hostile planet with a crippled ship. "Form a perimeter! Don't let those scum through!" The same officer exclaimed, watching as Infantry lay prone amongst the high wheat and heavy bolters, as well as some auto cannons, began to setup against rocks and broken fenceline. They wouldn't give the border to fire until the enemy was in perfect range: dead close.

Finally, with the aggressors lacking the decency to retreat, the order was given, and a thunderous roar of cannon and small arms fire erupted, sending the masses back to their holes, in pieces mostly. Several enemy vehicles, of they could call them that, had broken through however, and as they approached the opening to the ship, they were intercepted by several storm chimera's; one in particular ramming one of the technical-like vehicles with it's dozer, flipping it to it's side as it's occupants stood and rushed the tank. They were not prepared, however, for the rush of ten grenadiers that came out, blasting at the lightly armored criminals and sending them reeling, then not sending them anywhere as they all were slaughtered.

"Sir! More vehicles on the Horizon!" One of the soldiers shouted to the grenadiers, who turned and witnessed the armored column of Chimera heading towards them. "Prepare all guns, but do not fire! They seem Imperial." The head grenadier stated as he motioned with a girl of his hand for all hands to mount up on the Chimera, sitting on the top as it began to move towards the approaching armor alone. They would find out who, or what, these Imperial Tanks were loyal go.
Commissar Grim (played by Fluffer)

The great coat Wearing man had taken his position upon one of the Punisher variants of the Leman Russes and accompany his tanks to the crash site. They were well armed and well armored as well and when they came upon the Odessian's, a smile covered the Commissar's face as he stepped from the tank. Then he moved methodically through the dead, stepping over body after body and putting down the injured. As he approached the line, he looked for any sign of a commander as he looked at the Gas mask wearing warriors of Odessa. All he did now was wait in the field of grime and battle for some kind of leader to approaching him so they can speak.

Doros had just finished dusting himself of stone rubble and Mutant gore. As he poked his head once more from the newly made hole, he had caught sight of the terrible crash. The wild screech from the landing almost made his ears cringe in disgust. The arrival of this ship, as well as those heretical vultures that loomed over the sky, evading autocannon fire all seemed very sudden. The Veteran Sergeant lept down from the castle's highest floor, making a crushing thud as he made contact with the ground; he rushed to the castle gates in great urgency. Doros saw plainly that the citizens within the city were now utterly broken and disheartened as he passed through the streets once more. He heard the sobbing and wailing of men, women and children. They believed all was lost now that their independence was stripped from them. They seemed to care little that their King was a mutant, perhaps these people had already fallen to heresy.

Doros had finally arrived just outside of the castle's entrance, catching a clear view of the Imperial chimeras that moved to retaliate (or at least get bombarded) against the interceptors above. He raced to rendezvous with the men of the 13th (whilst hoping not to get blasted by interceptor bombs), assured that the Commissar would not forbid it. Swiping the empty bolter from his waist, the Sergeant loaded up a magazine of regular rounds to deal with any land based enemies that he and the others would potentially encounter, not to mention his unease at this crashed ship of new arrivals.

Spotting the commisar walking calmly towards the gun line, the leader of the Grenadiers leaned down inside the hatch of the turret, directing the Chimera towards him with the point of a finger. It was loud on the outside of the tank, but the driver understood sell, and approached, and then stopped, infront of the commisar. As the commisar stopped, the grenadiers disembarked, jumping to the ground as the leader landed infront of the commisar. Their grey and blue-accented armor and Chimera differed from the rest of the Odessian Korps, which all wore olive-drab trenchcoats and natural, well, unstained synthetic leather equipment.

Not a word was said yet as the Sergeant walked towards the commisar, stopping some twenty feet from the man and looking around. The commisar nor his mean seemed to require respiratory protection, and the green life growing all throughout the valley seemed to reinforce this. Slinging his hellgun across his chest, the Sergeant pulled his reinforced helmet from his head and doffed his gasmask, letting it hang from his neck as he placed the helmet under his arm. The man, well, closer to a boy, appearing not more than twenty four eyes the commisar for a moment or two. His hair was cut into a short warhawk and several scars covered his face. "It's safe to breathe boys, take off your masks." He said loudly as the remainder of the Grenadiers and the Korps pulled their masks off. "Heir Commisar, may I ask where we are?" He asked, forgetting to introduce himself any further as some of the men started to relax, having not been immediately gunned down, they believed if safe.
Commissar Grim (played by Fluffer)

"Sergeant, you are on Trianr and it is about to undergo an attack from a Warband of Chaos... excellent timing if I do say so myself, my men.... the 13th and 15th are here to help you move any equipment and gear you may have on the ship...we will need all of it, I assure you," Then he frowned deeply and held out his hand for a handshake. The Commissar already was quite the sight, it seemed as if he had been in through the wringer with blood stains and dust all over his great coat. The robotic eye in the commissar's head inspected the man in front of him with great interest. "The Emperor seemed fit to give us war, so we will have it, right sergeant?" He added, holding his hand out still.

An officer, seemed not a day out of his forties moved to Kragoth and looked at him. "Well, if that is not the Emperor's grace, then I do not know what is," The man said motioning to the ship. Then he had the audacity to introduce himself. "Major Riker, you have met my good friend it seems," He said, motioning to the Commissar. "What do you think of him SPace Marine?"
Brother Kragoth Doros (played by KingofHaddock) Topic Starter

Doros turned his head toward the major, most of his upper body was still covered in stains from his last battle. He raised his brow from under the helmet, leering as Riker introduced himself. It was after the major's curious question that the space marine then stood formally, resting is bolter by his side before he began to speak. "I think he shows a lot of spirit and promise." Doros quietly stated, praising Grim's earlier bravery as he looked back in the Commissar's direction. "But I'm not sure the rank of Commissar is fitting for one who would show such compassion. At least to natives anyway."

Despite his suspicious nature, the veteran sergeant turned his back to riker and stuck his hand out toward the major. The marine's gauntlet had lost it's shine, it had become rusted and worn out like the rest of his armour. "I am Kragoth Doros: Veteran Sergeant of the now-defunct Rainbow Warriors Chapter, at your service Major Riker."
Commissar Grim (played by Fluffer)

"Yes... he is an odd character, that is for sure," Then he would smile and shake the Space Marine's hand. Then he would look back forwards with a light smile. "HE only believes in cruelty when it is one hundred percent necessary, never seen him even execute a man unless it was for cowardice," The Major would comment while watching.
Red Mist of the 721s (played by RandomNoodle)

The Sergeant looked at the three infront of him, quite confused by the site. Such a rag-tag group of individuals, and a single space marine. Quite odd for an imperial operation. His eyes focused on the hand of the Commisar which extended forth from his body towards the boy. He stood still for a moment, then reached out and shook it. "Amaury Dietrich of the Odessian Royal Guard, assigned to the 721st Odessian Armored division sir." He said finally, revealing his name at last. It seemed the commisar had expected a battle group, but that was far from what this ship was. "Commisar I must inform you that, if you expect an entire Regiment on this ship, you may be mistaken. We are plenty in number, but this ship... It's more than just a carrier." He said, looking back towards the opening as several Adeptus Mechanicus personnel walked amongst the damaged hull, inspecting the damage. "This ship is transporting Adeptus Mechanicus and their experiments back go Odessa for testing. New weapons of war, and most of the hold contains such. We were in the process of hyperdriving through the warp, when we were interdicted out and ambushed. We had to re-enter the warp under emergency conditions and without sanctions," Amaury continued, looking back at the burning mountain side. "Which explains why we warped back in so low to the planet." He couldn't help but stare at the mountain as trees seem to turn into a conflagration, burning away at the wildlife. The last of the hostile interceptors seemed to fall prey to both the fighters and ack-ack, and the fighters wizzed by on their way to land back on the carrier. "But, as we are here regardless, a war I can support you with."
Commissar Grim (played by Fluffer)

The Major smiled and oddly enough spoke aloud to them all. "By any chance, are any operational...we could use some new powerful designs on the field of battle and we will crush them under imperial steel,"

The Commissar nodded and looked at Dietrich. "Well, some more men from Krieg should be on there as well, but I am not sure how large this warband numbers, from our intel, it is sizing up to be very large indeed, we need to finish preparations at the keep so we can give them a thrashing once they arrive,"
Brother Kragoth Doros (played by KingofHaddock) Topic Starter

Doros' eyes scaled the Odessian Sergeant with curiousity as he and the other two exchanged words, before squeezing his way into the conversation. "This warband we will be dealing with seem organized enough to send multiple scouting parties throughout the world, so I assume their landing places may be quite spread out." Doros stated as he whipped the chaos branded letter from his bandolier. The now worn and creased note was slightly smudged in grey rubble from the battle with the King. "There remains only one scouting party to deal with, and they're half way across Triandr, so the heretics will lack a lot intel when they reach this place." Doros placed his rusted bolter back onto it's hoster as he spoke. "We could use their loss to our advantage."

The Marine's head then turned back to the Sergeant, and pointed his hand toward the freshly dead heretics among the smouldering fields. "Forgive me asking, but do you have perhaps any clue what warband these heretics were from?"
Red Mist of the 721s (played by RandomNoodle)

Amaury's attention focused on the deceased wastelanders on the ground and walked towards on of them, violently kicking the corpse onto it's back, proding it with the tip of his hellgun. "No, I do not. I've never seen any of these markings... It's all foreign to me. Commissar, to answer your question, I believe some of the machines are ready. Ultimately, that is up to the Mechanicus onboard, but I know most start and operate, atleast that's how we loaded them. And about any reinforcement from Krieg... There are no other ships in the area. Atleast not what my scanners picked up coming through the warp... There was reported of a system not far from here, erupting into civil war. It's possible they diverted... But I do not know for certain."

The soldier's attention shifted to the Adeptus Astares next to him once more, seeing his rusted and damaged armor, covered in blood just as was his, but the astares bore much more than him. "I did not catch your name space marine. And if you don't mind me asking, how long have you been here? Your armor is in much greater disrepair than I have ever seen on an astares."
