"What!?" Xelera asked panicked, "What!? What is happening?" She clutched onto the back of his jacket, looking around at the ground as the moaning sounds got louder. If she could rate her fear in a scale of 1 to 10, it would be over 9000.

Lucia quickly pulled the water up and pulled the bucket out of the well. "I think they're angry we figured it out. Come on."

he started away from the well, and suddenly the air shimmered. pale see through beings started to rise from teh ground, wailing louder and louder. THere was at least 4, no 8, no... They were surrounded.

Xelera shrieked, clutching onto him tighter. "L-Lucia...Lucia.." she repeated, glancing around "Lucia how do you stop a ghost?" she asked panicked she was now completely pressed up into him.

He was quiet for a moment, then he set the bucket down. "Just hang on." He said, flexing his hands. He clapped them together hard, then slowly pulled them apart. A small orb of light started to swirl in his hands, then he threw it into the sky. It vanished, then suddenly rays of light beamed down, and one hit every ghost they saw, making it freeze.

"MOVE!" he shouted, running for the house with the bucket in tow.

She ran behind him quickly, "If we live through this, remind me to kiss you!" she cried out as they ran to the house. They barreled through the door, running towards the slab.

Lucia ran to the slab and dumped the water onto it.

"Please be right please be right please be right!" He shouted, and watched as the water seeped into the stone. There was the telltale crack...

And suddenly the floor caved under them, and tehy dropped into abyss. Lucia managed to reach out and pull Xelera against him before all went dark.

(DUN DUN DUNNNN)

Xelera screamed as the floor gave way underneath them. She felt Lucia grab her and squeezed her eyes shut clutching on to him as they fell. It was the last thing she remembered before passing out.

When she came too, she was laying on a soft, lush green grass. Around her was what looked like a jungle, only less dense. The sound of water could be heard,and the smell of exotic plants was evident.

The cried of brids could be heard, along with the sound of wind in the leaves.

(Yea )

Xelera sat up, rubbing her head as she looked around. She looked around for Lucia, and her things. She got up off the ground slowly, wincing slightly, she must have hit or head or something, as the back of her head throbbed.

"Xelera!" Lucia came walking through the trees, and when he found her he sighed in relief. "Thank goodness... I thought you were gone..."

She rubbed the back of her head, glancing around "Where are we?" she asked, "What happened?"

'as for what happened, we broke the barrier. As for where we are... well, take a look." He picked her up and set her on a path nearby. Then he led her through the trees...

And to the edge of the world. where they were standing, it looked like a large floating island in a HUGE underground cavern. In the distance many other islands floated in the cavern.

Xelera's jaw dropped as she looked out, she was in shock. She looked at him and then back into the cavern. She then looked down, closing her eyes. "W-We're never going to get out of here are we Lucia?" she whispered, defeat in her voice.

Lucia hugged her shoulder, giving her a good squeeze. "don't be down. We'll get out of this... It's just going to take a while..." Although he had to admit, it did look grim.

Xelera glanced up and smiled slightly, though it did not do much to boost her spirits. She ran a hand through her hair, "Well guess we better start looking around.." she said softly, turning and walking back into the jungle to the path.

"There's nothing on this island, I already looked. The only way down is through the big vines that hang waaayyy down..." Lucia ran a hand through his hair. "I guess it's good I still have that trunk..."

Xelera took a deep breath, "Well then down we go. Least I'm not scared of heights.." she said enthusiastically. She put her bow and quiver around her torso, and then slid her dagger in her boot.

Lucia nodded, rolling his shoulders. Moving beside her they made their way to the other end of the island. Sure enough,there were large vines leading down. Lucia hopped over the edge, and grabbed one, making his way down slowly to another island.

Xelera went after him, climbing down. She looked down at Lucia and then down at the island. She hoped there weren't too many islands to search. There was so many of them, and they all looked the same.

Lucia touched down, and then turned and helped xelera down as well. "I don't know which of these isalnds has the runes... but I promise i wont give up looking for them." He smiled at her and pushed a strand of hair out of her face. "don't give up on me, ok Princess?"
