"Stop calling me Princess. I already told you, I'm not one." She said, blushing slightly as she walked past him. She smiled slightly when she was sure he couldn't see and made her way through the jungle.
The island they landed on was pretty flat. This one in particular had a watersource. a small spring that seemed to bubble out of nowhere was in a clearing. Lucia set the trunk down and sat down.
"Not that i'm not eager to get home.. but I"m burnt out on all this running and climbing... DO you think we could rest a bit?"
"Not that i'm not eager to get home.. but I"m burnt out on all this running and climbing... DO you think we could rest a bit?"
She glanced back at him and nodded, walking back over to the pool and sat down. "I suppose a break would be nice."
Lucia nodded and rubbed his legs. "I must be out of shape... I'm normally able to go way longer without resting..."
There was a bit of silence...
"... My home... well, I don't really have one. Truth is I'm a traveler of worlds. I search for portals andd paths, and find my way to new places."

"... My home... well, I don't really have one. Truth is I'm a traveler of worlds. I search for portals andd paths, and find my way to new places."
She glanced up at him, pushing her mouth to the side. "That sounds fun though, at least." she smiled slightly.
He smiled. "It is... I meet knew people, and find new places all the time... However the only reason I'm still stuck here is because of my bag. It had a device that wolld have let me teleport out of here no problem."
She laughed slightly, "Oh god let us find that bag here." she smiled up at him and laughed more. "That would be fantastic."
"You're telling me." He said with a smile. It felt good to smile, after all this mess they were going through. He was quiet for a moment.
"... How do you think it happened? How did we end up in this maze?"
"... How do you think it happened? How did we end up in this maze?"
Xelera shrugged, "I don't know, my biggest question is why? Why were we brought here?" she rested her chin in her palm as she sat, staring into the pool of water.
"I don't know..." Lucia said, rubbing his forehead. Then he looked up. "You wouldn't have accidentally ticked off any powerful figures or deities, have you?"
She pushed her mouth to the side, "Not that I know of." she said, glancing at him. She hadn't done anything different from what she normally did. She woke up, ate, hunted majority of the day, ate, and went to sleep. She lived such an exciting life.
"Good. That lowers the list of possible offenders by a bit. I on the other hand might have, although I don't know any that would drag in a total stranger just to get back at me..."
He sighed. Leaning against a large moss covered tree.
He sighed. Leaning against a large moss covered tree.
She pushed her mouth to the side, "I wonder if we'll ever find out." she said softly, looking back towards the pool. "If we even get out of here.." she added, frowning some.
"We will. I don't think it would make sense to just have us wander endlessly. Even chaos has a reason."
Lucia rolled his neck. "You know... this place looks a little familiar to me..."
Lucia rolled his neck. "You know... this place looks a little familiar to me..."
She glanced up at him, "It looks familiar to you? How?" she asked, the place did not look familiar to her at all, but he had said he was a wanderer.
"The floating islands... I remember I was in this one world, and there was a place called the skylands. it was a seas of floating islands, and was pretty interesting to live in... And now that I think of it, the forest area with the element riddle? It was similar to this one forest back home i passed through once..."
He fowned, thinking. "Did the plains area or the dark forest look familiar to you at all?"
He fowned, thinking. "Did the plains area or the dark forest look familiar to you at all?"
She glanced up at him again and shook her head, "I never left my forest." she said softly, frowning slightly. Her father had forbidden her to leave the safety of the forest. She had wanted to some time ago, to see what else was out there, but her father had turned it down immediately. She sighed, wondering if he was the one who put her here to teach her a lesson.
He sighed. "Well either this is all very coincidentally familiar, or someone else is in this maze with us..." Lucia looked around. THe thought of someone else was both uplifting, and scary at the same time. What if it was someone NOT friendly...
She frowned at the thought, rubbing the back of her neck. She looked up at him and gave half of a smile, "Well no use worrying about it, does us no good right now." she shrugged slightly.
"Yeah..." Lucia looked around. It was a pitty they were trapped here, this would actually be fun to explore at some point. "Anyhow, let's get moving. I'm ready to be out of this place." He stood up, pulling the trunk over his shoulder.
