Xelera's eyes widened some, and she got closer to the portal, looking inside. "That's my home.." she whispered, she almost couldn't believe it.

Lucia walked up beside her, a hand on her shoulder. "... Be careful. This could be a trap."

No sooner had he said that then the portal closed and dissapeared.

"Congratulations on making it this far."

The voice was ominous, and came from behind them. A tall, robed figure stood, having appeared from nothing.

Xelera frowned as the portal disappeared, and turned to see the robed figure. She narrowed her eyes, pulling her bow taut and aiming for the new figure. "Are you the one that brought us here?" she demanded, her voice cold.

"Yes. I am."

Lucia growled, his eyes glowing yellow as he gritted his teeth. His shadow began to flicker, looking darker.

"Why? Why did you bring us here?" Xelera said, glancing at Lucia before turning her gaze backed to the robed figure.

"My reasons are beyond what primitive thinking your mortal minds can comprehend."

Lucia's fists curled at his side.

"If there's one thing I hate it's snot nosed higher-than-you-are people. Nobody looks down on me..." He said under his breath.

Xelera frowned more, "I'll be the judge on what I can comprehend" she said coldly, "Now tell us why were here or you might have a hard time comprehending my arrow in your chest." she glanced at Lucia again, she had never seen this side of him before.

The robed figure said nothing. THen he turned away, as if to dismiss them. Lucia roared and launched himself at the figure, his hands like claws and his shadow writhing under him like a serpent.

But before he could touch the figure he was frozen in midair, the robed figure turning slightly.

"you think a pathetic mortal like you could stand up to me? One who could rival a god? I should erase you for your impudence."

An arrow whizzed by the head of the robed figure, and Xelera stood glaring as she already had another arrow ready to shoot again. "I won't miss next time, and you won't touch him!" she said. "Please...tell us why we are here? What did we do to deserve this!?"

The figure ignored her request, instead sending Lucia's flying body towards her.

"You are beneath me Tree Spawn. DO not think you can threaten me, for I can end your life with a simple thought."

As if to prove a point her bow suddenly aged in her hands, turning old, withered, then to dust.

Her eyes widened as her bow diminished to nothing, and she felt her temper rising. She balled her hands up into fists, glaring at the robed figure. "Beneath you? What kind of being traps someone in this ridiculous place!?" she shouted, her brows furrowed. She walked up to the robe figure, no fear in her eyes, only anger. "Why let me live then? So you can sit back and watch us suffer?" she demanded.

The robed figure just stood there...

Until a sudden portal opened above him, and someone fell from it... and smashed a staff into it's head. THe robed figure crumpled to the floor, the newcomer standing above it.

It was a tallish looking guy, with a long red duster coat and overall casual look about him. Aaaand half of his body was dead, from the right side. HIs black hair was half white, and the right side of his clothes looked decaying, and his right hand was a skeletons.

The halfdead bent down and poked the robed one in the head.

"Found ya you lousy pest..."

Lucia had fallen to the ground, and looked unconcious.

Xelera blinked and glanced at Lucia to see him unconscious. She frowned slightly, looking at the new arrival. "Who are you?" she asked, raising a brow.

The figure hefted the staff onto his shoulder.

"Name's Charon the 13th, Ferryman of the River Styx depending on your culture."

He looked around.

"I take it this isn't one of the Terra Realms..."

She blinked at him, "I'm not really sure what this place is, we've been trapped here." she said, remembering Lucia and walked over to him and knelt down. She touched his cheek softly, and then shook him slightly, "Lucia, are you alright?" she asked, trying to bring him out of it.

Lucia stired a bit and blinked up at her.

"What happened?"

She smiled slightly, relieved to see he was okay. "I think you hit your head when that bastard knocked you back" she said, looking down at him.

Lucia smiled and sat up a little.

"Well, thanks for looking out for me." He said, but he trailed off when he noticed Charon.

"... Charon?"

The halfdead blinked.

"Lucia?"

Xelera looked between the two, raising an eyebrow. "You know each other?" she asked, blinking in confusion.

Lucia nodded, standing up.

"you might say that. Me and zombie face over there has teamed up on occation."

Charon laughed, his staff twirling beside him.

"Team up? More like you begged to be on my side of the fight!"

"As if. You would have been vampire dust if I hadn't stepped in."
