She listened to them bicker for a few, and then closed her eyes. "We still have a problem, your friend or whatever he is just dropped on that bastard, what if we are stuck here now?" she asked, opening her eyes back up and glancing around the white void.
Charon waved a hand.
"Aw forget about that. Ol' big bad god person here-" he kicked the still down figure. "Is nothing but a loser who so happens to have a lot of power. He tries to make others treat him like a god to get over his own insecurities. Although I gotta say Lucia..."
He tossed the man a black leather messenger bag.
"I'm surprised you let him get the drop on you."

Xelera frowned slightly, "That still doesn't help us out of this situation." she said, crossing her arms and looking from Charon to Lucia.
"More than you think."
Charon gestured with ihs hand, and a portal opened up, this one to Xelera's world. The sounds, smells, and sights came through the portal, beconing.

She looked into the portal, sure enough there was her home. She looked toward Lucia, and frowned slightly. Would they be going separate ways now? she thought.
Lucia rubbed the back of his neck.
"Well..." He didn't know what to say. He honestly didn't expect this to end so... abruptly.

She looked at him, frowning slightly, "Thank you.." she whispered, "For everything."
Lucia nodded. "And you... Thanks for trusting me..."
he was quiet for a bit, then he thought of something.
"oh, you never did give me that kiss."

Xelera turned a bit red, glancing at him. "R-Right." She walked up to him, looking down shyly and then leaned up on her toes, kissing his cheek softly. She almost didn't want it to end, she had fun with him even in this messed up place.
Lucia touched the back of her head, hugging her a little when she kissed him. When she pulled away he looked a little dissapointed, but smiled none the less.
"Well... I guess this is it..." he said.
"Well... I guess this is it..." he said.
She looked up at him and frowned slightly, "I-It doesn't have to be." she whispered, blushing a little more as she looked down.
He waited a moment, not moving away. If she was going to say something, she better say it soon.
"You did say you wanted to see my home." she said, glancing to the side a bit. She'd at least get a few more days with him that way, "I'm sure you are hungry and tired." she said, glancing up at him.
Lucia smiled and his hand found hers and gave it a squeeze. "Then lead on Princess..."
She gave him a look and then rolled her eyes at the word princess. squeezing his hand slightly as she looked at the portal. "Do I just walk into it?" she asked looking at Charon.
Charon nodded and motioned to go ahead. "Yup. It's just a fancy door."
Xelera swallowed and took a deep breath, walking trough the portal. When they got into the other side the air was a bit crisper, and Xelera frowned slightly, had she been gone that long that now winter was approaching? She slowly let go of Lucia's hand, looking around at her forest. She could see the smoke rising from her fathers castle, she was almost wary enough to wonder if he was even there and this was all a trick.
Lucia shivered when they passed through. He looked around on the oter side and frowned.
"... Is that smoke supposed to be there?"
"... Is that smoke supposed to be there?"
She nodded, "We have one great fire, in the palace, that signifies the life of our people. Just don't use it to cook anything on, it's frowned upon apparently." she said, starting to walk towards the castle.
"Huh, that's interesting. SO no open barbeque, got it."
his hand squose hers and he looked at her. "You feeling ok?"
