She frowned slightly, "I have a feeling I've been gone longer than I think I have..it's pretty hot here in the summer, and never gets this cold...it was summer the last time I was here." As they got closer, they started seeing more elves, who seemed to stare at her in shock as she made her way to the castle.

"Time space manipulation... I think I'll castrate that robed guy next time I see him." Lucia muttered, looking around. "Why are the looking at us like we're aliens?"

Xelera shrugged slightly, "It could be you...but I think they are all looking at me.." she said as she frowned. The next thing she knew the royal guards were approaching her. Something seemed off to Xelera, everyone was acting so strange.

"Well... if you need to suddenly dissapear, I can pull that as a magic trick..." Lucia muttered, looking at the guards as they approached.

They stopped in front of her and then moved to the side. An elder elf moved towards him, and Xelera seemed to stiffen some. He stopped in front of her, looking down as she looked up at him. "Father-" she started but stopped when a loud crack echoed. Her head was turned as she touched her cheek, looking back at her father who had his hand raised.
"You dare return here after what you have done?" he said sternly, his voice booming causing Xelera to flinch slightly.

Lucia growled, his hand curling into a fist at his side. Had he been back home he'd put a hole into that guys chest for hitting a girl. But this was a family affair... he wasn't in it until Xelera said so...

Xelera held her cheek that was already red, she blinked at her father. "What I've done?" she asked bewildered.

(Stupid enter)

"You've killed your own brother!" her father shouted, causing Xelera to flinch.

"Say what?" Lucia said, raising an eyebrow and looking at Xelera. He wanted to here her dad's crazy theory on this...

Xelera blinked, her mouth falling open in shock. "Thaelus is dead?" she muttered in response.

Her father glared at her, "We found him with this in his back." he said, spite dripping from his words. He held out an arrow, and Xelera blinked. It was her arrow, but she didn't do it!

"Father, I swear! I did not do this! I've been trapped, they must have done it when they took me! I had no idea of this.." she pleaded, tears coming to her eyes.

Her father just simply looked at her in disgust, "You are hereby sentenced to death, for the murder of the crowned prince."

"And you are hereby sentenced to a public humiliation for for being such and ass."

Lucia growled, his shadow growing and growing until it reached around them, and the king. Chains of shadow shot up, picking the old man up and... well, stripping him while Lucia grabbed Xelera and dropped through a shadow.

When they came out, they where high in a tree, maybe a mile from the village. Lucia set the girl on a branch, then collapsed.

"Damn... I hate long shadow jumps..." He panted, suddenly exsausted.

"Sorry... I couldn't stand still..."

Xelera was still in shock as she sat there, staring forward. The hate in her fathers eyes had always been there for her, but now there was even more of it. Her brother was gone, and now she didn't even have a home to return to.

"Talk to me Xel... what's going on here?" he said, pushing himself up to sit next to her.

"I-I...don't know.." she whispered, looking at him. "I didn't do it though...it's all just a misunderstanding..someone is trying to frame me.."

"Well... What do we do now? I don't think I could teleport away form this place right now anyways, even if I wanted too. But I want to stay and help you..."

She looked down, "I..I don't know..I can't go back. I will be killed on sight for sure." she whispered. She pulled her knees to her chest, hugging them. "I don't know what to do..or even where to go."

Scooting over onto her branch, he hugged her shoulders.

"I"m with you all the way Xelera... Whatever you need to do, I"m there for you..."

((Up to you, stay or leave. Although leaving with me right now will end up a bit short.)

She glanced at him and frowned, "Well you said we were stuck here for awhile right? We need to find some place to hide.." she looked down for a moment, thinking. "I know where to go..there is a cave off to the west a bit where I used to hide when I was young.."

Lucia pushed himself up and nodded. "Ok, Let's go... Just..." He looked down. "Can you help me move? That jump took a lot out of me..."

She nodded, helping him down the tree. Once they were on the ground she helped him walk, it was quite a bit a ways away. "Thank you...for sticking up for me.." she whispered.
