"Indulge yourself. DOn't hold back." He said, his voice low and his eyes peering into hers.

She leaned forward suddenly, her lips brushing against his. She wanted to see what it was like to kiss him while he was awake.

His arms moved around her, hugging her close and deepening the kiss. One hand traveled up her neck and into her hair, the other resting on her lower back and pulling her onto him.

She closed her eyes as she kissed him, this was definitely a lot better than him being asleep. She was a bit tense at first, but soon relaxed, her hand coming up to his cheek.

He continued to kiss her, his hand pressing lightly on her head, massaing a little as he did. Finally he pulled away, smiling at her. "Feel better?"

It took a few minutes for her to come back to reality. She slowly opened her eyes, looking at him. "A little" she said, blushing a bit.

"Want to do it again?" He asked, grinning and tugging her a little closer.

She smiled slightly, leaning in and kissing him again.

He kissed her back, his tongue tracing her lip and his hands holding her close.

She was a little startled by his tongue tracing her lip, and jumped slightly. "S-sorry.." she stuttered, backing up a bit.

"No I'm sorry... I got a little ahead of myself..." Lucia looked down, feeling bad.

Xelera shook her head, "No, you're fine..it's just..I've never...kissed anyone before. I'm just new to it all."

"One day at a time my dear." He said, giving her hand a squeeze.

She smiled, laying her head on his shoulder. She closed her eyes and before she realized it she had fallen asleep.

The hours went on, both of them losing track of time. When they woke up the next time it was dark outside, but noises were coming from the forest.

Lucia shook Xelera awake.

"Xel... are you sure nobody knows of this place?"

Xelera stirred slightly, opening her eyes and rubbing them, "W-what?" she said, slowly coming out of her sleep. She glanced around and then looked towards the mouth of the cave frowning slightly.

"Unless my ears are playing tricks on me, I'm hearing voices."

Getting up, he creeped over to the mouth of the cave and looked out.

"Oh dear... you may want to see this..."

She frowned, getting up and joined him at the mouth of the cave, peering out the exit.

Outside the trees were thick, and the sky dark, but in the distnace you could barely see flickers of torches. Also, there was the distant sound of voices, and some kind of animal.

"Does your people have any... well, tracking animals that I should know about?"

Xelera cursed under her breath, running back into the cave and gathering their things quickly. She was an idiot to think they would be safe here, she should have known! "We need to move, now and fast." she said, walking back over and out of the cave.
