"I'm wokring on it. I could just shift in there and grab it, but it takes up a lot of energy. Sleep only does so much, I need food, and lots of it..."

He scratched his chin.

"Don't suppose you know of any secret tunnels into teh place?"

Xelera frowned slightly, shaking her head. "I mean as a girl I would sneak in through the back, where the servants quarters were, but the servants are always there." she sighed, holding the prepared rabbit over the fire and letting it cook. "If it will help any, you can have my share of the food you caught..I'm fine." she said, glancing up at him.

"No no no... We both need to be strong for this..." with a sigh he rubbed the back of his neck.

"... All things concidered... Hm... Do you have anyone you trust in that place? Or the village? Anyone you feel would stick up for you?"

Xelera frowned, shaking her head. "Once my mother died, pretty much the whole village forgot about me. My brother was the only one who I could trust, and stuck up for me..and well..now he's gone."

Lucia sighed.

"That... is more than a little disheartening..."

he ran a hand through his hair and looked at the dark sky.

"... i have a couple ideas... none of which you'd like..."

Xelera lowered her head, frowning as she pulled her knees to her chest. "I'm sorry, this is my fault..I should have just parted ways with you..I wouldn't have dragged you into this." she rested her chin on her arm that was on top of her knees, looking into the fire as she continued to cook the rabbit.

A shadow slipped up behind her and slapped her rear lightly.

"I'll be having none of that talk, thank you very much." he said, looking at her evenly.

"If you did you'd be dead right off and I wouldn't know anything about it. I'm glad I came with you. Now..."

he pulled his hands together, a form he often took while thinking.

"Do you want to hear what i have in mind?"

She jumped slightly when the shadow slapped her rear, letting out a small squeak. She looked at Lucia, blushing slightly as he spoke. She nodded to his question, glancing around to see if any of his shadows were going to do something to her again.

"One... well it's to go in, storm the castle as it were. Kill whoever gets in the way, get my stuff and get out. Problem with that is I really try to keep mass execution to a minimum."

he drew a line in the dirt.

"Two, we can try and get some help from teh dorks, I mean Dark Orcs, in the area. Stranger things in this world have happened, and I happen to know how to speak Orcish. Don't ask."

He drew another line.

"Three... Is we get back to the castle and attempt to reinstate you to the throne, where after we are successful you can appoint anyone else you want."

She blinked at him, "Those are all crazy.." she said, tilting her head slightly. "So much could go wrong, I don't know.." she frowned slightly, thinking about each of the plans. Orcs were known to keep elves as slaves, or dinner. She gulped slightly, not liking those odds.

"Well, I can't stay here... i mean... There is one other option, but it's nearly impossible to pull off. How many humans would you say live in this world?"

"Humans?" Xelera thought for a moment, "I don't know how many, but I do know there are 50 human villages near our territory." she said, glancing up, "Why what's the idea?" she asked, looking at him.

"I told you I was a traveller... right?" He said, rubbing his chin.

"Truth is there's more than that. Yes, I travel worlds... but I also exist in every world... Are you following?

Xelera blinked and nodded slowly, "You are in my world?" she asked, tilting her head slightly. He really was an interesting person, he was constantly blowing her mind on the things he knew.

"Yes. One that was born, raised, and brought up in this world. Probably several times in history."

He was fiddling with the dirt, drawing something.

"I rarely if ever interact with another self. I'd rather not interfere with that life. However, it's been shown that given time and luck, all my forms would do as i do, and become travelers."

She pushed her mouth to the side, still blinking at him. "So basically an army of you?" she asked, glancing up at him. She pulled the rabbit from the fire and handed him a piece.

"If you put all of us together? Yeah, a big one."

he took the rabbit and bit into it.

"But like I said, it's rare that i ever see one of my alters. Rarer still that i ever interact with them... And it could take God knows how long to actually find me, per say, so It's a really long shot..."

The sound of foot steps approaching drew her attention away from him, and she grabbed her bow, looking around nervously. It sounded like it was coming from all directions and she felt her nervousness rise, was there really dark orcs down here?

Lucia stood, twirling his scythe and looking around.

"Tick tock tick tock who's just out of siiight?" He sang lowly, his eyes sweeping the area.

Xelera stood up as well, as the foot steps drew closer. She swallowed as she saw a giant shadow moving towards them, and then the fire finally lit up their form. It was a giant dark orc, who wore what looked like a loin cloth and had tribal paint all over his face and torso. Xelera took a few steps back, that was the hugest dark orc she had ever seen, he had to be at least 10 feet tall.
