"....oh dear." Lucia said, looking up at the beast. He glanced at Xelera for a moment, then gulped.
"I'm gonna try and talk to him. If it turns bad run and I'll catch up."
Turning back to the orc, Lucia snarled, raised his scythe above his head, and bellowed, pounding one arm against his chest and shouting something at the Orc.

The orc stopped, his eyes roaming over the two, mostly on Xelera. She gulped, backing up some, she didn't like how intense his gaze was on her. The orc then turned back to Lucia, a confused expression on his face.
*in orcish*
"I do not want to fight. I am travelling with my mate, and do not wish to kill, but I will if I have to."
Orcish was alot of yelling, and deeeep growling. At least that's what regular orcish sounded like. He prolly sounded like a foreigner with an accent to them.

Xelera blinked as she watched them communicate, she calmed down a little when the orc did not attack.
*in orc*
He puffed out his chest some, letting out a guttural growl.
"Me never know a human who could speak orc before." he glanced to Xelera again, "She your mate? She's pretty, looks like strong mate, though she is an elf."

"yes, she is strong. Full of fire." Lucia took a moment to get his breath again. "Is there a safe place for us to go? The elves to the south are after her blood, and I seek to either escape here, or take their blood."

"Those elves are disgraceful elves." the orc said, spitting on the ground as if it were a bad taste in his mouth. "You are safe here orc friend, those elves don't dare step foot in this land"
"Thank you. They call me Shadow Rock." Lucia pounded his fists together and bowed, something he saw in tribal camps before. he turned slightly to Xel.
"Good news. We are friends here."
"Good news. We are friends here."
Xelera let out a small breath of relief and nodded, "What did you say?' she asked, walking up to Lucia and staying a little behind him. She glanced at the dark orc who seemed to watch her intently. She averted her eyes quickly, looking down. The orc seemed to grin some.
"That we were looking for shelter, and I would fight if I had to. Seemed to do the trick. Also, uh... I said that you were my mate. Orcs have a habit of stealing hat isn't theirs unless someone's claimed them..."
She frowned slightly, "Yea, but...technically you haven't marked me, you have just stated it..I'm guessing he is noticing that since he hasn't stopped staring at me...why is he staring at me?" she asked, shuddering slightly.
Lucia frowned, turned and barked something along the lines of 'back off Jack', putting an arm protectivly around her shoulders.
"At any rate, let's try and get trhough the night. I'm hoping we didn't just jump intot he frying pan with this..."

"Your telling me" Xelera said as the orc looked from her to Lucia and then frowned
*orc*
"Follow me, I can accommodate you in my village." he said gesturing towards the darkness and starting to walk off.

Lucia followed, keeping his arm around her and walking behind the orc. His scythe had went back into his shadow, but all things being honest he was ready to shadow spike anyone who tried anything.
Xelera walked close to Lucia, feeling a bit better about his arm being around her. They followed behind the orc for at least half an hour before they saw giant fires in the horizon.
"What is it with giant fires? Really?" lucia muttered as he kept his eye out for more trouble, as that was all they could really get into around orcs.
Xelera couldn't help but smile some at his comment, and soon around the fires orcs came into view, most of their structures were made of giant bones and hide, and Xelera found it hard to find the females, they all looked male to her.
The orc led them into a camp and then spoke orcish to his kin as they all stared at the two new tiny guests.

Lucia listened around, trying to make out what they were saying. All the while his shaodws slipped around them, spreading where light touched and getting thicker.
Xelera grabbed his arm, holding onto it tightly as the orc that led them there gestured for them to follow. All of the orcs stares were on them, and Xelera was afraid to look up. The orc led them to a tent like structure, and spoke in orcish to Lucia, "You sleep here, no orc will mess with you under Kralls protection" he said opening the tent for them.
Lucia bowed again.
"Thank you. We will leave at dawn."
Once inside Lucia rubbed his cheek.
"... we really opened a can of worms, didn't we?"
