Xelera stood inside the tent awkwardly, looking around as she rubbed her arm. "I'd say so, are you sure we can trust orcs?" she asked, glancing at him.
"Am i sure? No. But I meant what I said, I will fight if I have to. And already my shadow is reaching to the edges of this camp. If anything DOES happen, I'll be able to handle it..."
Sitting down he pulled her into his lap and hugged her, patting her hair.
"I'll be honest. I'm scared too... But we'll get through this, I promise."

She blushed slightly as he pulled her in his lap and hugged her. She leaned her head on his shoulder, hugging him back though she was still a tad bit shy. "I hope so" she whispered.
Lucia stretch out his shadow, goiong through the village and listening for anything that might be ill intentions.
Xelera looked around the tent, and then at Lucia, frowning slightly. "Are you okay?" she asked, noticing he didn't seem all there.
He nodded.
"I'm just... looking around. Trying to make sure nobody is planning anything... So far so good..."

Xelera nodded, glancing around as well even though she could only see in inside the tent. She wondered if they should take turns sleeping like they did in that maze to be safe. Xelera glanced back to Lucia, frowning slightly, "Should we take turns sleeping? Just in case?" she asked, not trusting of orcs one bit.
"Probably... It's a good idea. I just wouldn't sleep clutching the bow, they would get teh wrong idea. Don't look like you don't trust them..."
he took a breath and rubbed his head.
"Stinkin' headaches..."

"Stinkin' headaches..."
She frowned as she looked at him, lightly touching his temple. "Are you alright?" she asked, looking concerned now. She put down her bow and then faced him, putting both her hands on each side of his temples and started doing a small circular motion with her fingertips. A small light blue light began to glow from her fingertips as she closed her eyes concentrating. "My mother used to do this to me when I got them, sometimes it works.." she admitted.
Lucia was quiet for a long time. But eventually he let out a low groan as he leaned forwards.
"I... honestly can't say how long it's been since anyone's done that... It's amazing..." And heck on his concentration. He was about to be put to sleep.

She smiled slightly, "Is it working?" she asked, continuing to trace the small circles. She blushed a bit when he groaned, quickly looking away from staring at his face. She was always embarrassed easily, she didn't know why.
FLump.
Lucia fell over, his head in Xelera's lap, asleep and smiling a little. He seemed very relaxed, like she hadn't seemed him before.

Xelera blinked as she looked down at him, and then smiled. She stroked his hair soothingly, letting him stay her lap. She looked around the tent once more, watching the shadows of the orcs outside.

The rumble outside continued. Orcs would often gather outside the tent, and be talking to one another. But no one actually entered the tent. After what felt like hours, there was a poke in her side.
"Down here."
It... was a talking squirl.

(i hope you meant squirrel...lol)
Xelera blinked and looked down, seeing the squirrel. She jumped slightly, "You've got to be kidding me..." Xelera half laughed, shaking her head as she pinched the bridge of her nose. "I must be going crazy.."

"oi, look sista, just cause you be seeing a talking squirrel doesn't means you crazy!"
The little furry red creature walked around in front of her and sat on its hind legs.
"And besides, what's so strange about a squirrel that talks? You're a humanoid wit' pointy ears and white hair, but you don't see me acting all shocked!"

Xelera blinked more, her mouth falling agape. "Oh god you are talking." she said, looking down at the little squirrel.
"Ay! What did I say about- aww forget it."
The squirrel shook it's head and looked up at ehr.
"Da name's Barrely, and I'm of da Redtail's, da best Squirrel Thieves in Gohlten!" Gohlten being the country they were in now.
"SO I's be making my way back to my burrow, and I stuble upon dis here camp. Why? Cause I hears that da orcs are giving shelter to a couple of weak-skins." He held up his paws. "Hey, it's what they said, not me."
