She looked at him, "I'm not bathing in front of ghosts." she said flatly, looking at him as if he were crazy. She glanced at the trunk and rose a brow, "What else did you find?" she asked.
He blinked, then laughed. "Honestly hadn't thought about that..." He said, scratching the back of his neck. He looked towards the trunk. "Books, food, another tent if we need it. A bunch of random stuff that was already in the bottom, I haven't looked yet. Nothing concerning the riddle though."
She nodded and then frowned. "Well I guess we'll have to look again tomorrow, and think about what else signifies life." she said, glancing at him over the fire.
Lucia sighed and nodded. "YEah..." He was leaning against the tree, his eyes closed and his hair drifting down over his face.
She wondered if he was tired, and stayed quiet. She pulled her knees to her chest, hugging them tight as she stared into the fire. Her mind started to wander, about things like never escaping, or finding or home. She didn't know why she was in such a rush to head home, she didn't have friends and her family wasn't exactly close. Her home was almost like a prison itself. She sighed softly, resting her chin on top of her knees.
"Tell me about where you're from..." He said, his eyes still closed. "I'd like to hear it... if you don't mind tleling..."
She glanced up at him, and then looked at the fire. "We live deep in an ancient forest. The trees are so tall they could almost touch the clouds. It's quiet and peaceful..it's boring." she chuckled slightly, closing her eyes. "I hated it there.."
He laughed a little. "Any particular reason why? No friends or family there?" His voice was tired, but interested.
"No friends, and I guess you could call them family. I don't know, I just always thought life would be more exciting." She looked around, "But now I'm wishing I was back at that boring place."
Lucia nodded. "I understand that..." He was quiet for a bit. Then he opened his eyes and looked up through the trees.
"I don't really have a family... Never knew my dad, and my mom died when I was 3..."
"I don't really have a family... Never knew my dad, and my mom died when I was 3..."
She frowned slightly, glancing up at him. "I'm sorry.." she said softly, she glanced out across the field, it was starting to get dark again. "My father ignores me, unless I do something he doesn't like and then he tries to control me. My mother died giving birth to me, and my brother has his own family to take care of. I'm kind of an outcast." she said, laying her chin back on her knees.
"My uncle... was a doctor. He experimented a lot and was crazy to anyone who knew him. BUt my mom had no family, so she stayed with him for a long time. He..."
Lucia closed his eyes, a pained look crossing his face.
"He did stuff to patients that could only be called monsterous... He's one of the reason why I'm scared of doctors."

She frowned slightly, and then scooted next to him. "At least you know why you are scared." she said, giving a sympathetic smile. She touched his shoulder, blushing slightly. "They say things happen for a reason.." she said, trying to be helpful.
He touched her hand and smiled a little.
"Yeah... Well I..." He looked down.
"Remember when I asked if you had anything that could be considered power? Well... If I show you mine, will you show me yours?"
it was an awkward way of asking, but he meant nothing ill by it.

She tilted her head slightly, and then looked at their hands touching, blushing some as she pulled it back. "Uhm, sure..it's not really anything special, but simple spells." Elves were magic using creatures, she hadn't paid much attention in classes though.
She closed her eyes and sat up straight, holding out her injured hand. She started chanting in an ancient elven language, the cut on her hand slowly healing.

Lucia watched, and sighed in great relief.
"I almost want to kiss you. At least now I can ask kindly if you'd heal me if I get hurt."
He laughed a little then looked back to the sky.
"My uncle... he experimented on me. He wanted to see if he could fuse a light ether and a dark ether into one golem... and when he couldn't find a decent construct he forced the spirits into me..."

She blinked when he said he wanted to kiss her, and then frowned listening to him. "That's horrible." she commented quietly, she glanced at him, wondering what power he had.
rolled 1d10 and got 10
Lucia's hand moved, and the shadow under it quivered. It stretched, split, and lifted off the ground, picking up a few twigs and aranging them to be a teepee.
"Light and Darkness, the parents of Shadow..."
"Light and Darkness, the parents of Shadow..."
Xelera blinked, watching amazed. She had never seen anything like it before. She remained quiet, unsure of what to say, she didn't want offend him or hurt his feelings.
"You don't have to say anything if you don't want, although I wish you would. I've lived with this power since I was 3 years old, I'm used to how some people treat me."
Lucia opened his eyes and looked at her.
