Hullo! I know I use skype to rp all the time, but I was wondering how the rpr dwellers felt about it! This honestly is me asking if you like forum over live time posting, I do both but I honestly prefer the live time posting

I keep Skype for personal non-RP related communication purposes so, no, I don't personally use Skype.

I rp on skype because of the quicker response times ect but I do talk with it as well, i mean I am still a person I NEED TO TALK TO PEOPLE -spasms and foams at the mouth- Kidding anyways! I do talk to people on there too, mostly my friends that bailed on me and went to England and left me here, arseholes

I like to rp and talk to random people over skype, but I don't give it to anyone ^^
But again, there is always a delete and block button

I dunno how to explain things
But I RP on forums and on Skype, but Skype is only for the people I know and are close to me
Also, Skype RPs are mostly 'one liners' or just talking or such

Considering I use Skype primarily to talk to loved ones and for work related purposes, nope, don't use it for RPing. It would be a chaotic mess.

If I want instant responses, I just make sure I'm online at the same time my RP partner is and open up the chat for whatever we're on, on RPR - forum topics, PMs or groups. Every thread can be converted to real time chats and that makes Skype not necessary. Plus it's much easier to read back over old posts on RPR, than it is to retrieve old posts on Skype, especially if you're using different devices! Skype also lags the bejeebus out of my phone, and RPR doesn't.

I used to go full-on novella on Skype with my bf, but a lot of people on RPR don't like novella.. and well, a lot do too, but I find a lot of fluff.

i tent to rp on skype alot, but I use the RPR as well.. to be honest I have never looked or any groups on skype because I didn't want to make an ass of myself lol

Are there groups on skype xD? Damn I'm missing a lot.

I have no idea but i have had the offer to join a group chat that was doing an rp, or doing alot of rps, thats the only groups i know of on skype

Well i like using skype but I only give it out to people I would want to talk to because my skype is connected to my cell phone so for the few people I rp with on here that I would give it to, is on a very small list

I have skype. I just started skype. So why would I rp on skype if I barely even know how to use it.

I use skype to rp or to talk to friend or others I play games with or family.

I tend to use skype when I am ingame with people as well, we like to talk smack and all that as well play lol

I don't think they are around any more, I still rp via skype but I only have two rp partners on skype atm, the rest kinda vanished after a few weeks.

I adore roleplaying on Skype! It's faster, and I always have it open anyway for talking to friends.
I don't necessarily give my Skype out to just anyone, but it doesn't have any personally identifying info on it, so it's no big deal to me. I mainly do paragraph style on there, as with other places. I had a couple of long-term roleplays going for a while, but sadly they've sort of petered out as everyone except me got busier. >>

I always use my Psudo name, aka Arkavious, but if I give someone my real name it means I trust that person, but still I do not just give it out.. and I do like the speedy replies and I normaly keep it up 24/7 but I do turn it off to keep some peace and quiet
