Alkilai rolled his eyes at the sudden attention, taking a big gulp of his drink and cringing at the taste, he really didn't like alcohol, but on the other hand he really needed something to take the load off.

"Nothing much to tell, some guy hits me, I hit back harder, last one standing wins." Alkilai replied to his companions' curiosity. He was never really interested in the "fame" and "glory" that came with being a professional boxer, it was just a way for him to make a living with the only really usable skill he had. He had a limited knowledge of machinery from performing maintenance on his arms, but it wasn't enough to make a career of, so he put his fists to work, it was actually really easy too, because his fists were metal he could punch as hard as he wanted and not worry about injury, he figured most of his wins can be attributed to that simple fact.

"What about the rest of you, what have you been doing since you left the orphanage?" He asked, out of sheer politeness than any actual curiosity.
Rather disgusted at the drink, he refuses to take anything from the bar tender. He doesn't think of it as a rude action; he didn't ask for any alcohol at all, so the bar tender should have just not given him any... He sighed, pushed the mug a bit out of his way and leaned a tiny bit on the table

"I have a job, although it isn't all that much probably... But I got one, so that's something" the boy answered the question presented, not sounding all that high and mighty though. "It's nice that you've found something for yourself too" Christofer added politely.
"(I'm not completelly useless...)" he added some thoughts to himself...

The bar wasn't as bad as he had thought for it to be, but he was still somewhat alert..
He didn't really like Simon touching his working clothes. Lucky for Toffi (and technicly Simon too), he had some spare ones at the Place he was staying at or rather 'lived in', so it wasn't the end of the world. He would note the oter one though if they touched him again and dirtied the clothes.
Christofer wasn't too found on being called 'Toffee' either, but it wasn't the worst he had heard, so he'd let it slide for now.

Not really moving from his spot, he slightly turned his head to have a look at Simon
"What kind of wager..?" he wasn't too interested though and didn't sound too eager about it. Most likely he'd refuce the offer, although it did light a small spark of curiousity in him...

@Simon- The Bar Tender smiles at you before replacing your mug with a small shot glass, pouring in a light brown, thick liquid with fancy Elvish Writing on the side. And since Elidran and Drow share the same language you recognize the title as "Honey Brand", a very strong Elidran (High Elf) brand of liquor that goes down real slow burning your throat a bit but gets you extremely wasted, it is also very expensive. "Sixteen Credits foh that there, civilized Drow such as ya-seff must have no problem paying for a shot of this here Honey Brand."

@Etharon- With quick fingers you press the release button on the register and pull out about seventy five credits unknown to anyone in the bar. This missing money will not be noted for about two or three days and Marak will not be very likely to suspect you as of right now. Your current credit count is One hundred seventy in your pockets.

@Alkilai- Focused on your chat with Elo you hardly notice the two Gentalmen trying to flag you down near the screen, a Drow who speaks only elvish and a human who most likely speaks both. As you only know Common it takes you a moment before you realize the Drow is calling for you to come over.

@Elo- As Alkilai asks his question, you are a bit more focused on something towards the back of the bar, a flyer stuck to a wall saying, "Beware the King Croc!" Bellow it is a price, "Five Thousand Credits to whom ever catches the beast bellow the Alchamist's District." Which as you know, begins a dozen or so blocks from here, it is the next district over from this one... The Merchandise District.

@Toffi- The Orc looks at you denying the drink that was ordered and as Orcs do, he over reacted. Grabbing your collar, make a Dex roll OVER 15 to avoid getting grabbed! If you are grabbed, Marak spits in your face and says, "Ungreatful prick," and slams your head on the table! If you slip from his grasp, he just spits on you and points to the door telling you to leave.... HOWEVER, if you allow him to bash your head and don't fight it, he lets you stay. What do you do?
Benjamin (played by lasagnalover9)

Surprisingly, I felt a surge of fury burn through me.
"Hey! Put him down!" I stormed towards him, slamming my fist into his face. I blast him with a color change spell- changing his uniform to a vibrant hot pink- as I sit back down, grasping my drink in my clammy hands.

Etharon looks at the bar fight and chuckles, turning to Alkilai and Elo he answers Al's question. "Been in and out of different jobs, having a hard time catching up from some old debt..." Securing the money he stole in his pockets, and moving on to Elo, "whatcha looking at bud?" Etharon is completely ignoring the Bar fight, as he completely expects this from Marak as they were room mates for sometime.
Alkilai finally noticed the two men trying to flag him down, he rolled his eyes and tried to hide his face, but he knew it was pointless, they had already saw him, and wouldn't leave him alone if he didn't acknowledge them. He just hoped they were fans rather than angry gamblers that he cost a lot of money by winning a particular fight, by the looks on their faces, they seemed to be the former. However, before Alkilai could leave his seat, the fight broke out. Simon's swing missed, what poor technique, and then his spell was evaded as well. Alkilai wasn't particularly close to any of these people, but considering Atlas's last wish, he figured he should stop in and lend a hand. Before the Orc could retaliate, Alkilai threw a punch of his own.

rolled 1d20 and got 18
Punch to the face

[ I'll see the result first ]
[ GOSH DARN IT. That's two 20's in a row xD Toffi is on a roll ]

The boy saw the bar tender coming and was able to avoid being grabbed

"Calm down... I'll drink it if you reeeeeeeeall-" he was interrupted By the other orpanage people. Seemingly some others cared for him and that felt rather nice to him, but he felt that they were in a bit of a trouble now

"Ummm....." he started "I appologize their actions... You know... It's been rather rough lately.." He tried to ease the sitution a bit, most likely attempting to somehow calm down the bar tender even if it was pretty much impossible now... Maybe... They'd probably be thrown out if the situation continued on its way...

"... Is there sooomething I could do~? Anything~?" Christofer tried smiling, perhaps it would help? He was ready to back away swiftly though to avoid any further grabbings or punches

rolled 1d20 and got a natural 20. After the modifier of +2, got 22
The grab / +2 is for stealth or?

Elo (played by TurboEnder)

Elo responded lightly as he looked over the poster from afar, "I've been...traveling around a bit...using my science to...heal people..." When Etharon spoke to him, he said, "Just something that interests me...could be nothing, but then again...be right back." He stood up, leaving his oil behind, and walked over to the poster.

5,000 credits? To catch an old Croc? Elo had to contain his smile, knowing he could do it in his sleep. But, maybe it'd be best if he had some help...5,000 credits, that's 1,000 each if his old friends were up to helping him. He turned around, excited, but just as he was about to speak up, the fight broke out.

He rushed back over to help settle things, but wasn't much help. Mostly, he hoped his friend would be alright...Orcs were...hard to deal with, to put it nicely. He sat back down and waited for an opportunity to get a word in, after things calm down a bit.

@Simon- Punching with one hand and trying to cast a spell with the other leaves your face open, an Orcish elbow slams into your face! (1-9 it just knocks you back, 10-20 the hit breaks your nose.) Either way you cup your face and by the time you look up the Orc is just gone and Alkilai is on the other side of the bar. Feeling a bit embarrassed, what do you do next?

@Etharon- You watch the fun unravel, Toffi jumped back much to the Orc's surprise, Marak then smashed Simon in the face with his elbow, then Alkilai jumped over the bar and knock Marak to the floor in a single punch ending the fight. This is all very interesting but your mind is on the Five Thousand Credits, that would clear your debt and help you pay off the apartment.

@Alkilai- Jumping over the bar you land one punch to the face of Marak, knocking the Orc flat on his back. He looks up at you with his broken nose, "you do throw a hell of a punch." Marak turned over and coughed up some blood, "Free round for everyone!" He holds his hand up for you to help him up.

@Elo- From what you know, about a hundred years ago an Alchemist Guild Master was doing some testing on some Lizarians to create a super race that would destroy all others. A real anarchist, Prof. Torphan Bleek accidentally morphed himself and six other Lizarians into crazy giant crocodile Lizard men and they escaped into the sewers. Over the last hundred years the Twelve Guild Masters had the Giant Crocs hunted down and last week the last one was caught and killed... But with the King Croc still in there no police task force wants to go in there to risk their lives. What a great chance to make some bank!

@Toffi- You easily dodge and watch Simon take an elbow to the face for you, the Al jump over the bar and slam Marak in the face with his punch! It was pretty awesome that these guys would still do this for you after not seeing you for so long. These gents are truly your brothers, they have proved that at least Al and Simon (And probably the other two) will do anything for their brother!

Marak has to get 10+ to break Simon's nose!

Etharon smiles, "well we did know that he was a boxer!" Finishing his drink he puts his hand on the automaton brother, "ya know Elmo, we could easily tackle this thing just the two of us, and if we split it seventy thirty I'd be debt free..." He is now making an attempt to persuade Elo to assist him in making some cash, but the friendly teasing nickname "Elmo" that Etharon had always called his older mechanical brother is less of an insult but meant to be more of a term to help him remember the good times between the two!
Alkilai couldn't help but smirk at Marak's reaction to the hit, Orcs naturally valued strength, down them once and more often then not you'd earn their respect. He took Marak's hand and helped him to his feet, the orc beginning to serve him and his "brothers" another round of drinks. He sat back down in his seat and downed the rest of his drink, his face contorting at the taste, he really didn't like alcohol. Just then, he noticed Etharon and Elo conversing on their own, this interested him and so he got up and approached him.

"Hey, thanks for help you guys, nice to know you care." Alkilai said sarcastically, what could possibly be so important that they'd just ignore an angry orc that was about to tear their companion a new one. "What are you two doing over here anyway?"
Benjamin (played by lasagnalover9)

I sheepishly stagger towards Alakalai.
"T-thanks." I mutter, blood dripping from my nose. I try to think of a way to repay him, perhaps the speciality drow beer could do the job. He might not like it, I mean, it was made for drows. I wipe the blood from my face, leaving a red smudge. "Is there any way I could repay you?"
I swivel around towards Toffi.
"Sorry. I tries to hit him... I'm just not a quick thinker and that wasn't a good idea. I... uh know you don't drink beer, but I have a spell of soberity. If you wanna try some, I'll buy you a drink and cast the spell on you." I explain to him, trying to smile blood still dribbling from my nose.
Elo (played by TurboEnder)

Elo laughs a bit at the old nickname, remembering the teasing (in good humor, of course) that he'd endured at the orphanage. "Yeah, I suppose...still, it'd be nice to have some help. And besides, it seems wrong to not share an oppurtunity this great with our brothers, you know?" he grinned, downing some oil.

As Alkilai walked over, Elo lowered his head. At his remark, Elo simply stayed quiet. He'd never been one for combat...especially with Orcs. They could literally tear him limb from limb, and since he had no idea how powerful the magic that brought him to life was, he didn't know if he'd be able to survive it.

He'd lost an arm before, only to wake up the next morning to find it intact. Sometimes his face would tear and the metal would show, but it never lasted more than a day without healing. But an angry Orc attack? Not enough alcohol...er...oil...in the world could make him join that fight.

When Alkilai asked what they were doing, he perked up a bit. "Huge croc. $5,000 reward for killing it. I thought...you know, 5 of us, that's a thousand each...and not all of us seem that well off anyway." Elo shrugs, "Atlas did say to take care of each other. Maybe a little vacation to the croc spot can...I don't know, bring us together, fund our lives a little longer...something sappy like that."
Christofer gave the others a smile. He was happy to know the lot and, really, even if he didn't sometimes get along with all of them, he'd still not change them for the world

As he looked at Simon, he pitied him a bit and held up a finger as in an attempt on getting his attention.

"Stay still. I'll fix that up for you" Making sure that the nose wasn't broken, he'd reach out for the back tied to his leg and pick out some medical items from it: cotton, disinfectant, plasters... That kind of stuff. Although he wasn't very fond of Simon, he'd still repay him for at least trying to help. The boy would hold Simon's head still, clean the wound no matter how much the other one would wrikle their face because of the disinfectant, and Place a plaster over the wound afterwards to stop any potential blood from coming to mess up his face again - or at least slow it down from doing that.

After he was done, he'd put the rest of the supplies back in the bag and leave it at that.

"Oh, and don't worry about the alcohol.. I'm prepared for that kinds of things" he said, half jokingly as he thought of the whole thing. "You know, a lot of thing happen in a hotel after all"

@Simon- As Toffi tends to your bleeding you believe truly in you heart that ALL the bad blood is gone. All the teasing, all the spells, it is all fixed by you sticking up for him this one time. Whether it is or not, you fully believe that it is all good! At this time you hear Elo talking about you getting paid a thousand credits, this exited you!!!

@Etharon- If you split the money five ways it will not pay off your debts, by Elo sharing the bounty info with Alkilai you feel a bit betrayed by him and have no choice but to consider going at this task alone, whether you do or not is up to you but the thought is there sitting in your mind!

@Alkilai- Fighting a giant mysterious sewer croc interests you, the money doesn't really matter to you personally just because you are a professional boxer putting a few thousand credits in your bank account as of right now.

@Elo- You can tell Etharon's mood changes as soon as you begin telling Al about the reward and the job, his attitude seems cold to you now as if you betrayed him but you have no idea why. To you sharing the quest will make it easier and fair to each brother! So why the cold shoulder...? Roll a 1D20+5 if you wanna use your intelligence to find out.

@Toffi- As you examine the wound you see that it is not broken at all and that your lotions and patches stop the bleeding and heal the bruise with ease! At this point in time you over hear Elo saying something about a thousand credits each.
Benjamin (played by lasagnalover9)

"Thank you so much!" I smile at Toffi as I jump off my chair and sneak over behind Etharon.
I grin playfully, noting his coldness towards Elo.
"So what's this about ONE THOUSAND CREDITS?!?!" I yell the last part so everyone in the tavern could here, hoping to attract their attention. An evil smirk spreads across my face as I lean over the chair, holding in a laugh.

Being keen as a rogue Etharon knew Simon was there and brought his elbow back very quickly and stealthy hitting him as if hurting his face again and mocking him for what happened before. Slamming into Simons face Etharon glances at Toffi, "you may need to take another look at his nose... May have actually broken it this time."

((According to armor class Etharon needs 9 or more to hit, sry lasagnalover9.))

rolled 1d20 and got a natural 10. After the modifier of +3, got 13
Adding Stealth to this roll, 19-20 Break his nose right?

Wait- are you actually attacking me or just mocking me?
"Hmm, I'm actually pretty good money wise," Alkilai admitted, he wasn't rich by any means, but he made enough with his matches to live comfortably, so the rewarded didn't really interest him. "...But Atlas did saw we should stick together, and fighting a croc sounds like just what I need to take the edge off... alright I'm in." Alkilai stated with a hint of enthusiasm.

However, once Alkilai saw what Etharon did to Simon, he gave him a stern look. "Hey, what the hell was that for, the guy already has the personality of a whoopie cushion, he doesn't need his face smashed in." Alkilai said, with a mix of genuine concern and sarcasm.
Elo (played by TurboEnder)

Elo is reluculant to say anything else about the Croc. Al knows now what it is, so he lets him explain while he considers finding out why what he said upset Etharon...
