He looked at the people, or creatures, umm... something taller than him. He wasn't truly sure on what he should be doing

"Umm... Why? Why would I be killing orchs?" he asked, tilting his head a bit. "Sure, I can go with you but... I want to know why"

Aridot hides a smile and sweeps his hair behind his ear. "A good question, boy. Well you see, when Orchs take actions that are...a bit, say, out of line, people like us - or at least in my case - feel the need to teach them a bit of a lesson. That's my reason, I can't speak for Sir Relic, or the miss here," he says, bowing politely to the two. Rubbing a hand on his staff, he moves toward the door. "It's best we leave before daylight drives them away, no?"

Listens to what Aridot says and he's absolutely right, so she just nods slightly and smiles a bit. Looks towards the boy. "It might be difficult for you to understand, but a lot of us here are... well, driven by a reason. And besides... I grew up on a battleground." Shrugs her shoulder, ready to go. She won't put her sword in its sheath just yet, though. "He is right. We should get going. And I really need air under my wings." Makes a gesture towards her back and starts walking towards the door.
